Need software to transfer pictures to a PC Win 8.1 to intelligently

Hi, I'm a newbie here and happy to have found the jury.

I have several Canon digital cameras and have managed to get the images from the cameras for Windows XP and 7 PC systems via USB without problem. Transfer software would: 1) refers to the location of storage on the PC, 2) images to give a name, 3) remove the image from the camera when you are finished. Maybe there are other options available.

Windows 8.1 is an integrated application named camera and Canon has a suite of programs in CameraWindowDC. Both give the same result when the camera is set on the PC. The PRO 8.1 Windows system recognizes the camera model and transferres images. There are no options for the destination folder, name, or delete offered. The images are stored by date group in system folder for images.

Any suggestions on the localization of the previously managed software download? I am ignorant on this subject. Was it Microsoft or Canon. If Canon, it is perhaps on the disks that came with cameras. The name?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Bill

Hi Bill,

You can set the destination folder when you connect your device to your computer.  When the CameraWindow opens, click on the gear icon on the top of the left side of the window.  On the next page, click on the 'Import' tab, then choose "Folder settings" select the destination folder.

For more information about the location of the Canon software, please let us know what Canon camera you have.

If your phone comes with a USB cable, connect your phone to the computer. 1. Click on the Start Orb
    2. Select the computer
    3. You should see your phone listed under devices with removable storage. Double-click the device to open the files
    4. Usually, the image file is obvious / if not, check with the manufacturer of your phone.
    5. Copy and paste the image in the picture library.
  • Cannot transfer pictures of Android on Windows PC

    Hello

I'm trying to transfer pictures to my Xperia from Sony Z1 for my laptop Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7. I swear to you that whenever I plugged the phone before, just to load it, it came with a dialog box asking if I want to transfer my photos, and since I haven't looked, I have always said thank you.

However, this once I actually want to use this dialog box, it does not appear. I plugged my phone using my USB cable, and a small message will appear in the bottom toolbar that says "Dropbox could not find photos on the BlackBerry."

    (1) my phone is not a Blackberry, and I don't think I ever put an SD inside of my old BlackBerry even if I could have my contacts transferred from the BlackBerry when I bought this new phone.

Why 2) * only works when you like about it and nothing completely off when you really want?

    (3) anyone can help me understand what is happening? It is not that difficult. It should be a simple plugin and select Yes to transfer files in the dialog box that appears. It should not be harder than that.

Thank you in advance for any help that anyone provides.

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft community. I understand the inconvenience that you face. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.

This problem is usually due to incorrect settings. When you plug in your android phone, you need to unlock the phone and the phone, you can choose the type of connection you want with the PC. However, this feature varies from android version and phone manufacturer.

In addition, you must have the blackberry software installed on your computer that you must have installed to synchronize the Blackberry with the PC. If you do not use the Blackberry, you can uninstall the software.

    Reference:

    Uninstall or change a program

To connect your phone settings, you can check the manual you received the phone and check if you get the settings.

In addition, you can download the Sony software that allows you to synchronize data and settings with your PC to this phone Sony. This includes also save images and videos, etc.

    To do this, see.

    Help, please?

It is not possible to transfer pictures directly in the TC.

You need to connect the camera to the computer. Copy the files to the computer... Then copy the files into a directory for the TC... you don't need to use iphoto to make... you are actually better store directly on the TC raw file images, especially if your MBA is now insufficient to disk.

  • Impossible to use WiFi to transfer pictures byDSC-HX30V to my MAC, Help!

    Hello!

I see that the Wireless Auto import software (V1.1) does not support the Core Duo processors.  Is there a future version that will support MAC Core Duo?  Is there another way to use WIFI to transfer the photos to my MAC?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi duckcougar,

The current version (version 1.1) of Wireless Auto Import software does not support the Core Solo and Core Duo processors. Sony has released no information about a Wireless Auto Import software update. Even if an update is released in the future, as long as technical moderators, we cannot speculate the improvements that it will include in the previous update nor can answer us if the camera will have in the future it does not currently feature.

To work around the problem, you can use an Eye - Fi memory card in the camera to transfer pictures and videos to a computer wirelessly. Some Eye - Fi cards also allow to download photos from sharing pictures, blogs and social networking sites. You can find detailed information on the features of the Eye - Fi card in the link below:

  • How to transfer pictures from iPhoto photo app /icloud app

my photos on an external hard drive in iPhoto app, when I switch to camera app, there is no way to sync my pictures with iTunes, what do I do now?

I want to transfer pictures from iPhoto for photo app, I want to synchronize my phone with iTunes, I have 50 GB iCloud because I don't have enough space for the pictures on the mac pro book / that's the reason why I have external hard drive storage photos in iPhoto app / and finally, iPhoto app is not God to keep photos and synchronize with iTunes no more?

And finally, iPhoto app is not God to keep photos and sync with iTunes, not more?

You can use Photos to keep your library and you can use iTunes to sync the photos in your iPhoto library or a library of Photos on your iPhone.

Only, you can not use iTunes to sync photos to your iPhone, if you use iCloud photo library on your iPhone.

But what application now do you use on your Mac to store your library of photos - news pictures for Mac application or you use iPhoto?  It's not quite clear to me your question, because you MENTION both applications.

iTunes can sync photos of two applications for your iPhone, as long as the iPhone is not synchronized with iCloud photo library.

    As a general rule, no.

If you have the SD card reader and a player like the Kingston WiDrive wireless, you may be able to transfer the pictures to the iPad then the iPad on this disc.

If you have wifi, you could look for something like Flickr. You can download high or full resolution photos and store them here, then download them when you get home
