  Hello editors,

  Using the framework 7.1, Windows XP.

  I use the Adobe PDF driver in image with the SetPrint utility. My problem is that our Style Guide requires Times fonts and Adobe PDF converts this value to Times New Roman.

  My colleaguse use a local postscript printer that sometimes, but I get errors using this (THERE were up to present unable to fix it).

  I can convince Adobe PDF to accept the Times font? If not, it seems that 'best practice Frame' (use Adobe PDF) is not compatible with our style guide (use both). And of course, the style guide takes precedence.

  I'm not sure that there is a significant difference to the reader between

  Times and New Times, but the problem is that your colleagues use

  the fonts on the PRINTER not on their computers. The printer unless

  manufacturer has provided fonts on a CD to install on the

  computer, it is unlikely that these fonts are actually being

  incorporated in PDFs of your colleague. And if they are, it is very

  unlikely (but possible) that these fonts are licensed for inclusion in

  a PDF file - if you are worried about the legality of this, you should

  check the actual PDF using Acrobat preflight.

  If I were you, I buy a legal copy of time, or just ask the

  the guardians of the style guide if new times can be replaced if your

  system has no time.

  My problem is I'm losing POLICE QUALITY when you export a document in InDesign to PDF. For a quick understanding I am first inserting a screenshot of a piece of my User.ID before export file, then a culture of the same strand of PDF after export. What is the problem with the loss of sharpness of fonts? Help, please? I was pulling out my wallet. Time is of the essence, and a designer may not have exactly improper blurry fonts. ; P

  (Btw, based on suggestions from other users to the problem apparently, I confirmed 100% built-in fonts, high resolution/print quality and even tried to switch off the option character "Ligatures".) Any other ideas? I appreciate really him)

  This can certainly be done with the free player. Use the comment square tool to mark the area you want to highlight, and then press Ctrl + E to open the properties bar. Select the comment you added and you will be able to set the fill color and level of opacity (as well as some other parameters).

  If you want you can then right click on the comment and click on "Use current properties default" so that these settings will be applied automatically to all new comment (of this type) that you create.

  I have a customer who wants a created pdf form that mimics the main calculation and interest in an Excel doc. Please see the screenshot below of the Excel doc:

  

  Thus, the said Excel calculation = PMT(G51/12,30*12,-C60). "G51" being the "real interest rate" (4.84% in the example) and "C60" being the "Total loan" ($ 387 172 in the example).

  There is also a note under the LMP calculation that says 'PMT (rate, nper, pv, [VC], [type])' but I have no idea what it means.

  If someone could please help write a script customized to what would be much appreciated.

  (Based on the example above - with interest rates at 4.84% and the Total amount of the loan being $387 172 - the "monthly payment" is intended to match $2 041).

  You will need to implement the PMT function in JavaScript and use in the calculation. The following function supports three inputs the makes Excel PMT function:

  If the calculation for the field of PMT script could then be:

  I created a form in excel and imported into Acrobat Pro XI to create a pdf file which is automatically calculates the subtotal, discount, delivery, installation, retail etc...    The problem I have is that the sum does not calculate properly when the discount field or sales tax is nil.  Can someone tell me how write code if the value of "Discount" is $0.00, the value will be equal the subtotal? I should be able to then apply the same formula in the field of sales tax.  Here's the formula I am entered for the calculation of the discount and subtotal:

  Ah, if it's a percentage field, not a dollar amount (as your original question has suggested). In this case, you can use something like this:

  I have a requirment to create a button called 'Index' in a pdf document.

  When I click on this button, it should show the context menu, and if I click a menuitem in that, it brings me to the page in question. I've seen some of the interactive pdf available on the web and they have this facility. I tried to incorporate that into my pdf, it displays the pop-up menu item correctly but not taking me to this particular page and through an error message.

  Thank you!  I thought about it.  It is possible.  It's a document that I bought at TeachersPayTeachers.  The creator allowed to edit, but I don't have the original document to change, just the PDF file.  For reference, I clicked on DISPLAY in the main menu.

  You set the font size to a size that is suitable for the size of the document.   Size of the document may vary everywhere.   To resolve this problem in action, I solved in scaling the document to a known size then use a font suitable for a document of this size.  When you resize an image using size with resample Images not only checked a single pixel is change everything that is changed is the DPI image resolution setting.  So if you size a picture 8 "wide you choose a font size is good for wide image 8" the Save action.  To work around the problem of changing the size of the printing I wrote a Script to use in such an action.  The script is used twice, there is a backup and restore script.   The first time that the script is used the script records the resolution DPI images in the metadata documents.  The second time that the script is executed, it retrieves the registered PID parameter deletes the record of metadata from images and set the DPI images that had been saved.    If the use of fonts for the document 8 "will be resized to fit the print original size.
