Need to display negative amounts, amounts positive based on the value of the parameter.

Hi all

I have a requirement in rdf as follows:

I have two or three lines of the SELECT statement. An amount column having both negative and and postivie values.

Based on the value of the parameter I need to take these records.

Say, if the value of the parameter = "Credit amount", then I have to choose the records, the amount column value is negative.

If the value of the parameter = "Debit amounts" then I have to choose the records, which the column value is positive.

If the parameter Value = "All", then I must take all records, including both positive and negative.

Please suggest how to achieve this scenario.

Thank you
Abdul

In your where clause to add the following
and ((& paramètre = "Débit" et montant > 0) or)
(& parameter = 'Crédit' and the amount<0)>
(& parameter = 'All'))

Hope that answers your question

    Hi AlkaT,

    What exactly are you trying to achieve? you try to format a NUMBER type item in the currency of the system? If so the bottom of piece of code should work fine, just put in your controller processRequest() method:

    {} public processRequest Sub (pageContext OAPageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
    ...
    OAMessageStyledTextBean currencyField = (OAMessageStyledTextBean) webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive ("CurrencyFieldItem");
    currencyField.setAttributeValue (CURRENCY_CODE, "AUD"); / * Replace the currency of your country instead of AUD * /.
    ...
    }

  • Oracle ADF fill drop-down based on the parameter

    Hi all

    I was faced with a scenario where we want the values in a drop of water down to be limited based on something special... For example, if the Department user ID. If this value exists in the view object that displays data and when I have my LOV it works very well to restrict the LOV based on the service id of the user.

    However, if this value is not in the object view we use to display the form as well as the LOV values then I can get the value list to be limited. I tried to run with params and a few other things (this works to restrict data on the page, but not the LOV).

    Advice on how I can limit a LOV based on a value that is not in the current t would be great.

    Thank you

    S

    Hello

    If it is a model based on the value list, you can filter the list with a criterion for the view. This point of view criteria can use a variable of liaison for the filtering of the list. The value of the variable binding type is adjustable to the expression. You can then use Groovy as adf.source.applicationModuleName.ViewObjectInstanceName('DepartmentId') to access a ViewObject instance in the same AM. I did not have the exact syntax in head but answered a similar question yesterday

    Thanks in advance

    I have a table tableaa

    what I need to do

    (1) if the parameter according to table below is 1 then I need to choose
    only every 3 ranks

    AN AVERAGE OF END TEACHER BEG
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
    3 0.2 0.3 159 159
    6 0.3 0.4 250 250
    9 0.4 0.5 388 388

    (2) if the parameter according to table below is 2 so I need to choose
    only every 6 row table

    AN AVERAGE OF END TEACHER BEG
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
    6 0.3 0.4 250 250

    create table tableaa (a number, beg, number, end, teacher number, average number);

    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (1, 0,.1, 159, 159);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (2,.1,.2,, 159, 159);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (3,.2,.3,, 159, 159);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (4,.1,.2, 250, 250);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (5,.2,.3, 250, 250);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (6,.3,.4, 250, 250);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (7,.2,.3, 388, 388);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (8,.3,.4, 388, 388);
    insert into TABLEAA (A, START, END, TEACHER, AVERAGE)
    values (9,.4,.5, 388, 388);
    commit;

    This query, you can get what you need:

    SELECT  *
    FROM    TABLEAA
    WHERE   DECODE
            (
                    :parameter
            ,       1
            ,       MOD(A,3)
            ,       MOD(A,6)
            ) = 0

    The sample output:

    I can view a list of web app; and the search engine works on a standard page. but when I try to load it into another web application details page, I get an error: "page not found". In this case, regarless of whether if I put {module_searchresuts} on the same page as the form or if I redirect the results to a different page.

  • display a viewstack based on the selected item in a datagrid control

    Hello

    I am bit new to bending even though I have been using CF for a while but could do with what I hope, it's a simple answer to a simple question...

    I have a datagrid that displays a number of columns that a 'typical' I want to be able to display a viewstack child is based on the "type" selected in the data grid. I tried a number of ways that fail, annoyingly.

    the latest incarnation of the code is as follows

    part of script function

    private void dataGridChangeHandler(event:Event):void
    {
    Get the line datagrid selected item
    var Type: String = event.target.selectedIndex;

    Set the index of view stack
    this.pagesStack.id = Type;
    }

    <! - part datagrid - >

    < mx:DataGrid id = "EpisodeDatagrid" selectable = "true" = "true" Exchange draggableColumns = "this.dataGridChangeHandler" variableRowHeight = "true" editable = "false" height = "100%" textAlign = "center" width = "100%" > "
    < mx:columns >
    < mx:DataGridColumn id = "startdate" dataField = "EpisodeStartdate" headerText = "Start Date" labelFunction = "dateLabelFunction" headerWordWrap = "true" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn id = "enddate" dataField = "EpisodeEnddate" headerText = "End Date" labelFunction = "dateLabelFunction" headerWordWrap = "true" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn id = dataField 'Type' = "Episodetype" headerText = "Type" headerWordWrap = "true" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn id = "Status" dataField = "EpisodeStatus" headerText = "Status" headerWordWrap = "true" itemRenderer = "active" / >

    < / mx:columns >

    You can strip the line before the declarations to REPLACE;

  • Field of view based on the calculated result?

    Hello

    So far, these forums have been very helpful to me making the forms for my company. I really have 2 questions, I appreciate any help I can get!

    Question 1:

    I have a submission form we use that calculates the total price by multiplying a "Quantity" field by field "cost". However, when no value is entered, the field displays "$0.00," which is accurate, but we would prefer if field does not display anything if the price was exactly zero (we actually wants it displays negative amounts, because we add discounts deducted from our quotes). Is there a way to turn 'off' field when it is equal to $0, or modify it so that it displays nothing until it changes its value?

    Question 2:

    Can I format a field so that every word in it capitalizes the first letter in uppercase? Some companies we work with can be 3-5 words long, and he saves just our sellers boredom especially when you fill out them on an iPad.

    Thank you!

    1: use this code as the custom validation script:

    "" If (event.value == "0") event.value = "";

    2. Yes, use the following custom format script:

    If {(event.value)

    Words cut var = event.value.split("");

    var newValue = "";

    for (var i = 0; i)

    If (I! = 0) newValue += "";

    newValue += splitWords [i] .charAt (0) .toUpperCase () + splitWords [i] .substring (1);

    }

    Event.Value = newValue;

    }

    I can't guarantee that it will work on the iPad, though.

    Hello

    Have you tried

    If condition = true
    then
    insert into the table;
    on the other
    apex_application.g_print_success_message: = "your Message here";
    end if;

    Make sure that the branch on the page that is triggered after your process has the "success of process message includes" checked.

  • The column report based on the build option

    Hello
    is it possible to display a column of report based on the selected build options?
    I can exclude the elements or even a full page by adding a compilation option, but I couldn't find any way to exclude a column of a report according to a compilation option (for example not displayed this column if the build option is xyz).
    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Jochen:

    I have not tested, but creating a condition for the column based on the APEX_APPLICATION_BUILD_OPTIONS could provide a solution.
