  I need to extract information from signatures of PDF files in VBA (mainly the name of the signer and the date of signature. PDF files have several signatures inside them).

  So I have a few questions:

  -Are there an example somewhere to do such a thing?

  -I need Acrobat Pro for this? This is an important point because the code is supposed to be run on machines where ONLY Acrobat Reader is installed.

  -If the above is not possible, do you know a command line utility that would do the thing (and I could run from my VB code)

  As already mentioned, you will need Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro VB/JS bridge. If you want to make this work with just the free reader, you are limited to what you can do in JavaScript environment. Basically, this means that you must open the file in the player and then for example use a menu item to trigger functions to get information about signatures in your file. For example, this information may appear on a dialog box, and you would be able to copy & paste from this dialog (which means no VBA integration at all).

  Of course, you can use either Adobe PDF Library (licensed through Datalogics), or other 3rd party PDF frameworks/libraries. It's a site run by Adobe, you will understand that we cannot give you advice regarding 3rd party solutions that compete with the own Adobe solution.

  So here's my question. I need to get information from text within a thick layer. The layer contains images and text and the text is the information that I need, which looks like this:

  (1) XXXL 34 bolt torque

  I need to do three things: the number that represents the number inside the parenthesis, the size that it is the next set of letters (L, XL, XXL, XXXL) and the list of numbers (I need not "# s" characters), and information storage together to know for example that size L has a 4 number and numbers are 1,2,3 and 4.

  If someone could point me in a direction to achieve this I would really appreciate it. I'm working on CS6.

It doesn't have the conditional statement about whether she should use asterisks or peren and me have just pre-programmed the chain of the textFrame. It worked for me.   What I've done so far is to transfer data from an excel in an Oracle_DB_B file, and now I need to bring information from another Oracle_DB_A.

  If you created the database for the Oracle_DB_A and the Oracle_DB_B server, then you can then reuse.

  You can use

  LKM: Oracle for Oracle (DB Link)
  Or
  SQL for Oracle

  IKM: Updated incremental Oracle
  Or
  Added SQL command

  These lists are not restricted, you can choose according to your requirement.

  I'm migrating my VMs from standard to distributed switches.  Are there practices for distributed switches how you create?  Vmotion traffic must be on a separate dvswitch?  My plan was to a dvswitch for vMotion and the other for my VMs and mgmt of ESXi servers.  OR would they all simply in the same switch?

  Do not forget that each vDS need your own uplinks (physical network interfaces)... If you have enough rising, you can create several vDS, but with a small number of uplink, a better approach is to create just a single vDS and a group of ports for each type of traffic (vMotion, mgmt, VM)... and you can specify the uplink for each port group to use by using the configuration of aggregation and failover.

  If someone removed from the distributed switch vClient connected directly to the esx host, how to delete this host of the distributed switch configuration?

  There is no option to add this host to distributed switch.

  Any thoughts?
