  For repetitive tasks like these, I found a lot of success with Keyboard Maestro.  It easily allows you to create a macro that can process all the clips on the timeline, after you have registered on a single action.

  Use the up/down arrow keys to move the playhead to the beginning/end of a clip, and then use Shift + left/right arrows to set trim distance that then Q & W to cut. You can specify the walking distance front/rear step in the preferences (under playback) If you wish.

  To export, you can use the Ctrl key (or is it order?) + low shortcut to select the next clip, use "/" to mark the selection, command + M to open the export dialog box, then count the number of times where you have to hit tab to get, activate the button of "Tail" and press the SPACEBAR to press the button of the queue.

  Once you have a macro work, everything should finish in under a minute, even if you have hundreds of clips.

  The only thing to watch is to put a pretty decent in Keyboard Maestro between actions break as well as first has enough time to complete each action (usually about 300-400 milliseconds makes the case for me).

  This is one of the capabilities of Mac OS X that I have sorely missed under Windows.

  Edit: On the titles you mentioned, you can also get a macro goes for it - a few things need to be set in motion for this, but I can see how it can work:

'. ».  I get the error "NoSuchElementException.  I tried to turn the journal level and research in newspapers, but I don't see any useful information on why it's a failure.  I can't find documentation that says explicitly that everything needed to run the workflow of the inventory.  I looked through the vso.xml for the vSphere plugin and can see nothing special here that I do not.  I can't find anything in the workflow that controls this behavior.  I put breakpoints in find(), findAll() findRelation() and can see no call there during the attempt.

  Are you referring to a link in a notification of workflow?

  If Yes, then this link is an attribute of type URL display. You will need to open the workflow process in the workflow designer and check the message. You will see several attributes of the message and the (s) of TYPE URL will be the ones you want to check.

• Clone VM workflow properties fails to create file sysprep.log

  I'm in vCenter Orchestrator 4.0.1 on a Windows 2008 Server.

  I get the following error when you run the workflow Orchestrator "Clone VM properties".  The task of scriptable 'Log properties' within this workflow produces the following errors:

  LoggingInternalError error: permission denied on the file ' E:\Program Files\vmware\orchestrator\app-server\bin\... \server\vmo\log\sysprep.log', unauthorized entry

  Error closing fileInternalError: file not opened:... /Server/VMO/log/Sysprep.log

  It is originally the workflow to fail.

  I tried to run the Orchestrator service under the local system and a local administrator account and I still get the permission denied errors.  Permissions for the directory of the app-server log file were opened to the top of everyone with full control and I always get the refused permissions error.

  Appreciate any ideas of other solutions to try.

  By default, Orchestrator can only write parts of the file system. To write to other parts of the file system, you must change a property of the system, as described on p49 of the Management Guide.

  the problem is that OBIEE 10.1.3.4.0 ha a bug, see the support document SAPurgeCacheByTable and SAPurgeCacheByDatabase not working do not [787797.1 ID].

  The bug is logged as a Bug 6906535 and it resolved in the next version which is 11.1.

  Currently, there is no difficulty for 10.1.3.4.

  Support proposes to use SAPurgeAllCache() to work around the problem.
