Hello Tho - Tan Bui,
Did you changes to the operating system?
If not, F10 key can be used to perform a recovery system to the factory settings:
https://us.en.KB.Sony.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/32099/c/65%2C66/kW/32099
The computer comes with recovery software, in a hidden partition. It is recommended to create recovery discs, so that it can be used to restore the original configuration.
If you want to purchase recovery discs contact Sony parts and accessories team:

Securing Win7-OEM-Partition to install Windows XP
Hello
I recently bought the Ideapad S205 with processor AMD Fusion E - 350 and Win7 preinstalled.
After using Win7 for a few days, I realized that I neither need nor as this new OS. The good old WinXP fits my needs pretty good and I want to install it on the S205.If I knew before that I wouldn't Win7, I would have bought the S205 without BONES. Now that I've spent more money on the S205 with Win7, I don't want to lose the files to install Win7 on the OEM partition.
Is there a way to save the Win7 OEM Partition on an external drive?
After saving outside, I wipe all drive 500 GB of the S205, make new partitions and install WinXP.If (one day in the future), I want to go back to Win7, it will be possible to use the external drive as OEM Partition? Will be the function of the button One-Touch-recovery too, or should the OEM Partition on the HARD internal disk?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Alex
You can burn recovery discs if you have some internal or external dvd rom.
You can also use 3rd party applications such as norton ghost to create a copy of your hard disk image. -
Hi members of the community.
One of my colleagues brought me his personal computer to the difficulty. It's a phone of 2011 which has Win 7 pre installed on it (OEM with a recovery partition). It has no support for the version of Win 7 and she never bothered with the creation of recovery media or to order the installation media, but since its purchase, it has upgraded to Win 8, then 8.1 and finally Win10.
Problem, it is the disk HARD watch of major equipment failures and every time you start more errors appear that problems are cascade. There is a recovery on the HARD drive partition, but windows has trouble starting, I fear that this recovery partition is useless, because we don't want the windows reinstalled on this faulty drive.
Can any advise if there is a way to install a windows OS on windows versions, that it has improved or the original win7 OEM supplied with the laptop without the media and with a damaged HARD drive?
The hard drive that is damaged is a 750 GB drive at 5400 RPM samsung - she bought a new 980 GB SSD sata III. I have already confirmed the laptop can use Sata III - I have a true picture and was curious to know if I can clone the recovery partition (if its still viable) can I do it on the SSD and then force the recovery on the SSD drive? or that violate the license for OEM?
Any advice would be appreciated, because I'm used to using volume licenses and I am new to OEM preinstalled OS damaged.
Thank you very much
ENO.
Because the system is currently registered and activated with 10 Windows, just download the Windows 10 edition which currently installed, and then perform a new installation.

I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista
Hello
How to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

I bought a used laptop with a version of Win7 OEM and license will not authenticate.
Hi, I believe that the seller must have used a version of Win7 OEM upgrade but wiped the original OS from the laptop. I've been going round in circles with the supplier for weeks now nothing does. They want to send back me the phone so that they can "Watch".
It is the diagnostic report.

Reinstalling XP OEM with any OEM cd
Hi, I am in the need to reinstall several OEM XP installations, due to the failure of hard drives. I have the product key and the OEM cd. However, the product key on the sticker was already pasted on computers and CD have been labeled unfortunately not to the computer on which it was installed to.
So I can use any cd to do the reinstall, or is there a way to find out which system belongs to the specific cd, or is there no other way but to try them one by one?If two CD's are a media generic OEM (not related to a manufacturing like Dell, HP, Etc.) either key will work with a CD as the two CDs are identical and is the product key that counts. You should have no problem re - install. However the phone activation may be necessary.
How to activate Windows XP
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307890/en-usIf the activation of the Internet does not work, then see the section titled: "how to activate Windows XP by phone.
Also, make sure that you do not confuse the product key numbers and letters
(number 8 can be confused with the letter B, etc.).J W Stuart: http://www.pagestart.com

Hi, as the title says I do a disc factory reinstal of backup for the first time. I have a few questions.
First of all, I need the disc because my current hard drive is a failure. (Not a SMART short self-test and.) And I wanted to know if the Dactory backup drive could be used on a new hard drive? That is mainly why I want to make the record.
Second, by original Image, this means that when I understand? As in, it'll be usable and such.
Thirdly, the bottom of AlienRespawn for factory return reinstal, it is said (as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/432u15): Note: CD, Blue-ray, DL, XL. And all types of rewritable media are not supported.
What does it mean, exactly? What is this means that a DVD like this will work?
Or not?
Thanks in advance for reading.
Hello!
- Yes, you can use it on a different HARD disk.
- Yes, the image of the factory should have the OS, drivers and software pre-installed.
- No matter what recordable DVD or Blu - ray works, a regular CD or a DVD - RW will not.
For instructions, see this article.
I hope this helps!

Original title: Windows Vista Home Premium with upgrade
I tried to update my ATI driver, and it got uninstalled. Now windows will not open. Black page says he needs the windows disc to fix the problem. The drive came with my computer. Download driver somewhere? I am running windows Vista Home Premium with upgrade.
Thanks Gene
Hello Gene,
You can try to perform a startup repair and see if it helps. You can check if your system has the integrated system recovery option to perform the Startup Repair. You can check in the advanced boot option to see if you have an option to fix the computer to perform the Startup Repair.
You can read the following article to get started in the advanced boot options.
Startup options (including safe mode)
If this isn't the case, you have a Vista installation disk to perform the same.
For more information, you can consult the following articles:
What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

Hope this information is useful.

Reinstalling an OEM of Windows XP version and it does not accept the PK
Reinstalling an OEM version of Windows XP, but it does not accept the PK and no hardware changes were made.
Check the letters and numbers carefully, do not confuse the letter B for number 8, letter O for the number 0, letter Q for the letter O.
If it does not then help following XP forum post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_install?page=1&tab=all

I have already downloaded the other drivers from this site for my new OS, but it is not complete, in any case, this isn't a big deal.I just want to have an installer for * Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator for win7 64 bit *.
before on my win7 32 bit there is a Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator ("but it doesn't have an installer on my backup CD I do not know why?")I looked for an installer here but the only thing I saw was for Win Vista, I tried to install it luckily it has been done successfully. He invited s to restart, so I restart my laptop so I tried to open the application, but there was an error message that invites it goes like this
"NO HDD RECOVERY AREA!
"The Toshiba Recovery disc can not be started."CONCERNS:
* I want to ask you guys if you have an idea why it goes like that?

Thank you good guys...
Hello
Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator is a tool of Toshiba that created the recovery disk available on HARD drive recovery image.
It s NOT support tool like Ghost, etc. that allows you to create an image of your operating system preinstalled.
If the Toshiba Recovery files are not available on the HARD drive then the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator will not work!Welcome them

Win7 OEM, new phones, I need new license?
I bought this copy of windows 7 OEM: https://www.komplett.no/microsoft-windows-7-home-premium-en/631913
After installation of this and has been used for a few years now, I decided to pass on my graphics card to the motherboard, cpu and power supply. What I have to buy a new license or is it possible to reuse it in the same case? It is the only computer that will be used, so I don't see how this can be a problem.
The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:
-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system
What is OEM software? :
http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/oemsupport_1/en-GB
Licensing FAQ:
http://www.Microsoft.com/OEM/en/licensing/sblicensing/pages/licensing_faq.aspx
So, Yes, you will need a new license, some people have managed to reactivate the OEM System Builder License on new motherboards, but is not a guarantee.
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

Satellite P770 - 10 p - download Win7 OEM
Hi all
How can I download
* Win7 Home Premieum OEM Version * (maybe even with SP1) for my Toshiba P770 - 10 p?Already installed is the version I have baught the laptop.
Since I have trouble with windows and need to reinstall, I need the correct version of windows.
I have no problem if I get a version and I need to install any drivers toshiba by myself.
I want just a legal OEM version. I want to use my key on the bottom of my laptop.First time I start my laptop several years ago, I did a cover of my Toshiba (5 DVD)
But if I start the computer with the recovery DVD, it says that it will overwrite everything. It's risky.I have 1 HDD with 4 Partitions. C-D-E-F
Normal Windows Setup overwrites the C partition. It's ok for me.
But it is unclear what will crush the recovery DVDs. I have no backup of D-E-FThat's why I'm lookin for a normal * Win7 Home Premieum OEM Version * (maybe even with SP1)
(1) where I can download an OEM version it?
(2) can I use my OEM key for a Windows Non - OEM version? Thanks, Aykut

If you have access to the recovery of files saved on the HARD disk image, then you could try to create the USB drive or recovery as described here in this doc:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD4103KB0000R01.htmBut also try to access the HARD drive recovery option by pressing F8 while turn on/off the unit.
Then choose fix my computer
In a new window, you should be able to see the Toshiba HDD recovery option. -
I bought a PC h8-1534. It comes with win8 installed. I can't stay win8 and want to run win7. Yet, HP offers no driver for win7. Am I totally screwed up now?
Hello:
You should be able to run W7 x 64 on your model without problem. You just need to cross reference your model with one with the same material that came out before the W8.
Before you try to install W7, you should:
1. your W8 recovery media set where you want or need to reinstall W8.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03481733
2. to install and run W7 on your PC, you must change some settings in the BIOS.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03659945
I took the liberty of doing the research for you.
Here is a link to a model with the same motherboard and graphics card with your.
According to the page of the driver for your model, it has an adapter without ralink wireless/bluetooth.
You should be able to use the drivers wireless and bluetooth on this laptop computer professional (they use the same cards wireless in desktop computers and laptops).

MacBook with Win7 OEM stolen - how to reuse Win7 on the new machine?
Hello
I bought a copy of Windows 7 OEM and installed on my MacBook Pro on a BootCamp partition there is a year or more. I still have the disc and product key.
The laptop was stolen a few months ago (probably wiped).
I have a desktop PC (quite old but still functional) I want to wipe and install this copy of Win7 on (and then eventually move to Win10). Can I reassign the Win7 for this desktop computer and how?
Thank you very much
Niki
Unfortunately, you can not transfer a license from one PC to another OEM. When the license is installed on a PC, it stays there forever and the product key cannot be used to activate Windows on another PC legally.
