Nested Animation does not animate

I try to learn the fundamentals of nested animations. I created 2 symbols vertically bouncing. They are in my library and can be viewed by the stop/play buttons.

I put them in another scenario, set up 2 keyframes, and interpolation of movement with the symbol moving vertically. Now it should bounce up and down and across the screen. But it moves in all. The nested animation is not animate.

Help appreciated,
Wayne

Hello

Have you tried to test the movie? Looks like you are trying to watch the animation embedded within the Flash work environment. Test your animation by pressing Ctrl + Enter or go back to the control > test movie and you will see your animation.

Unable to display nested animations (or animations in the movieclip symbols) of directly in the Flash interface. You must test the movie to see all animations.

  • Nested animation does not move on 'Play', but done on "test movie".

    I use Adobe Flash Pro CS6 12.0.0.481 Mac OS x 10.6.8 freshly installed in the last day - so I have not been juggling with preferences again.

    I use symbols nested for the animation of a bouncing ball. The deeper cymbal is the ball object itself ("ball"). The next symbol out is "bounceball" and it contains up-down animation. Finally, the scene itself contains the animation on the left right.

    If I change the scene, and I press Enter (or control > play) I just saw my ball moving in a straight line from left to right - I do not see the nested up-down movement. Case, however, I "Test movie" then I see the full animation up-down and right-left.

    I'm guessing there is a parameter or a property, do I need to change somewhere.

    Here is the file if anyone wants to look at themselves: http://DL.dropbox.com/u/7608731/ball2.fla

    Use the approach to test the animation.  Play/washing of the timeline will not play sub-un calendar as your nested and down from movieclip.  The option 'play' is more adapted to the timeline-based animations that live on a single scenario.

    If your nested animation is a graphic symbol instead of a movieclip, then you can get it to animate if you give it enough frames on the main spend management scenario.

  • Stray light does not animate.

    Hello, friends.
    The video "Lens Flare" effect does not animate. For example, I have 3 keyframes for 3 seconds. To the first keyframe in the first second of three, the Flare "Lens FLARE" brightness is 0. The second keyframe, in the second number 2, Flare brightness is 50. Subsequently, the third second last keyframe is with Flare brightness 100. It should go from 0 to 50 then 100, but instead left with the last keyframe Flare brightness all the time. In this case the light Flare is 100 through all three keyframes within three seconds.  Another example, if I do the first third keyframe and the last first Flare brightness will be 0 and three keyframes. Animating all other effects. Only this causes this problem. When I do a new project and add the "Lens Flare" effect in a video, that he hosted, but the project I'm working on that currently not animate this effect. I did something I should not have done and I don't know what it is.
    Thank you in advance for the answer.
    See you soon.

    To solve this problem for now put the stray light on an adjustment layer.

  • Drop caps and nested Styles does not

    For reasons that escape me, it seems, the drop caps and Nested styles does not work for me. I am confident, I have followed the correct steps of there exactly: Nested styles to heavy users. Adobe InDesign tutorials CC

    Yet somehow the style preview and paragraph simply do nothing for me.

    I wonder what I'm missing.

    You have manually applied 1 character Style to the whole paragraph. THT is a priority.

  • InDesign DPS: Simple Animation does not work in 'folio '?

    I'm building a recipe simple app using InDesign CS6, using the tools of digital publication.

    On one page, I applied an animation, "fly from bottom" in the subject.

    When I finally build the folio and view it on my ipad with the Adobe Content Viewer, the animation does not work on this page.

    I looked at a few tutorials on the use of the animation tools, how to set the path, etc. but none of them mention any other measure for the animation to work once you build the folio.

    Am I missing something?

    InDesign animations are not supported in DPS. They are only SWF.

  • Score animation does not work

    Hello everyone. I'm having a problem. I created an infographic to a University project site.

    This site works well on BusinessCatalyst: http://globalanxiety.businesscatalyst.com/

    However, I can't continue to pay for this site because it's just a school project. I don't have to give my teacher a nice url. For that I have to move my

    a free hosting service Web site. So I did that, twice.

    http://globalanxiety.co.NF/

    http://globalanxiety.byethost11.com/

    These are the free hosted versions. They seem to all work fine, but if you take a look on the site businesscatalyst there is an arrow at the bottom of the Web site that, when hovered over, evokes our banner of the University. This does not work on free hosts. I asked the host about it, but they said, it must have something to do with the creation. The animation of the banner was carried out onboard animate and as you can see it works actually in html Web site, format and businesscatalyst.

    Help, please. Thank you. :]

    If you open your web inspector you can see the problem, the Banner_for_Websites2.png image is absent from your free hosting server. Try re downloading, hopefully that should solve.

  • Select the event inside the nested symbol does not

    It's actually based on a previous thread located here: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5596353#5596353

    I thought about adding to this thread, but in many ways it deserves it's own separate discussion.

    I used the Zaxist examples and AMULI put in place successful. On a navigation bar located directly in the root.

    Now, the question is the same thing with a menu that is nested inside a symbol.

    In my example, I have a button that when you click on anime a symbol of navigation bar down. This works. Also, the LINK button retains its background color set to black until the user clicks another button in the main navigation bar. OK, he has no other button in this example. So just pretend and believe me, it works.

    Now in the nested clip, there is a similar function I Illustrazione in the compositionReady. Then I added my actions to each of the four buttons inside the symbol navlink nested. The rollover/rollover effects work well. But the click event shows an error. It is basically the same click event in the navigation bar on the root, which does not have an error.

    My code inside the compositionReady is;

    Reset the State of each button

    buttons = {}

    Reset: function() {}

    sym.getSymbol("btnLink").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    }

    }

    which button?  Zero means no!

    We set this variable to get know e what button

    WB = 0;

    Reset each State buttons Sub

    buttonsub = {}

    Reset: function() {}

    sym.getSymbol("btnCommunication").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnIndividuality").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnCreativity").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnInclusivity").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    }

    }

    which button?  Zero means no!

    We set this variable to get know e what sub button

    SB = 0;

    I would like to only it where there are two functions. One for all main buttons and the other for all the buttons of the child. This way I can have two buttons stuck to the hover effect when you click them in order. If all goes well, that makes some sense.

    Here is my event click in the button "btnIndividuality" inside the symbol navLink nested:

    buttonsub. Reset();

    sym.getSymbol("btnIndividuality").$("back").css ({opacity: 1})

    SB = 1;

    The other three buttons are basically the same.

    So I tried a number of ideas. Especially goes directly from the stage and drilling down into JQuery. Nope.

    So the Firebug error is 'Javascript error in the event handler. Type of event = 162 item line ' we of edge.2.0.0.min.js. It's this line:

    function (a) {if (a) {if(!this.aSymbolInstances) this.aSymbolInstances = []; this.aSymbolInstances.push (a.getSymbolElement ())}}; Y = Function (a, b, c) {function f (c, b) {if (b.length > = 2 & & typeof b [0] = 'object' & & typeof b [1] = 'object' & & b [1] .Guy! == "onError") {var e; e = d.Event ("onError"); if (g) e.compId = g.getComposition () .compId; e.originalEvent = b [1]; d (doc indicator) .triggerHandler (e)} window.console.log ("Javascript error in the event handler.}} Type of event = "(+a)} var e = this [b [0]], g;" = If (typeof e = "function") if (b.slice (1), a = 'element') return function() {var;

    Why would I get this here and not on the root? What is the correct path to make it all work? If close, but not home right now.

    Files are located in:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/xlgfeeyam9hyuf3/nested.zip

    Oops! Sorry, without my knowledge, that it was published before it is completed

    (3) thus, using Firebug, you get this when you trigger a click event

    In other words, sym.getSymbol ("btnCommunication"), the first statement in your buttonsub.reset function fails.

    In your mind, sym points to the instance of navLink, parent of the instance of btnCommunication.

    But the buttonsub.reset function is defined in the compositionReady event handler, so when it runs sym points until the symbol of the scene, which has no child symbol instance named btnCommunication. Where the bug.

    Therefore, the context of symbol should be past to the function as a parameter. Set it like this:

    buttonsub = {}

    reset function: ( symClick)

    {

    symClick.getSymbol("btnCommunication").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    And call it like this:

    buttonsub. Reset ( sym);

    In other words, the formal parameter symClick will receive as the effective setting, this actually sym sym pointing to the instance of navLink.

    I tried to use code for the action click below and it does not work. What's wrong?

    Is it possible to use a clip in % instead px?

    Hello

    You can try to get animated as post #4 here (TimJaramillo).

    Here's a demonstration on the video site. You replace $(this) by sym.getSymbol("background").$('bg01')

  • DVD Menu with animation does not start

    I have the DVD menu with background animated and submenues that are built in the same way but the animation and the sound does not start, what is the problem?

    In sound Previewmode opens, but not the animation of backdround when exporting the project for even the sound of the file does not start.

    These problems may be due to corruption of project or odd causes. If you continue this, I create a small test project and add main menu and a sub. See if it works.

  • Scrolling on Preview animation does not what its supposed to then sets the design document, also going to the mess of the page master all the link and all the objects in the subpages and sends the data more irrelevant site

    When I use scroll animated: Walker I saw in the browser, it does not work in the x / y position cordinated in design mode. then when I go back to the design mode the object moved permenantly. Also when I extend the master page, then go to edit page with the master page applied to all objects and links are deformed and moved to the top of the page. Why? and also I have some links in the text and the buttons become irregular colours or States without reason then do only what they are supposed to after you press them and return them. ?

    These are common questions of interest because I think for a product, you pay for it should be able to do all the simple things like keeping the objects in place.

    Hello

    Pure and simple. Buttons and objects Box click pause the slide until it clicked. If you want the slide to pause, change the button or box click so the break does not. Or change the "timing", so he made a break later.

    Out of curiosity, why a transparent button and not a click box? Basically, a click box is a transparent button.

  • Flash animation does not correctly load in Internet Explorer only

    I have a simple flash animation which through text and pictures. I have a (AS3) preloader on frame 1, which sends the playhead to the frame 2, once the film is loaded 100%. For some reason, in Internet Explorer, the preloader bar will load completely, but fail to move the playhead to the frame 2, so it will just stay here with prestressing bar to 100%. However, this does not happen every time. For example, at the present time, the flash animation will play when I initially on the site, but when I click on another page, the same flash header (same swf on each page) just goes to show the preloader bar but will not play the rest of the film. Didn't help not reload the page. Close the browser and reopen it don't help. Clearing the cache of the browser did not help either. Thus, the flash animation will play correctly on the first page of the site I'm going to (be it the home page or another page) but then when I go to any other page that has flash animation, he won't play, he's there with the preloader bar showing. And then when to return to the original page, I entered the site, the flash movie play there anymore, either. I have not seen this problem in another browser than Internet Explorer (6 and 7). I checked in Firefox on Mac and PC and Safari on Mac. I use flash player 10.0.22.87 on my Mac and PC. The flash animation was made in Flash CS3, flash player 9, actionscript code 3.

    So to see the problem, here in Internet Explorer: http://demo.matthewpavkov.com/adairsolar . Wait for the movie to load and start playing. This works. Then go to one of the other pages and you will see that the same swf will not play. Go to the homepage, the swf file does not play.

    Here is the preloader code:

    import flash.display.*;
    this.stop();

    this.loaderInfo.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING);

    function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {
        var pcent:Number=event.bytesLoaded/event.bytesTotal*100;
        lbar.scaleX=pcent/100;
        lpc.text=int(pcent)+"%";
        if (pcent>=100) {
            this.gotoAndStop(2);
        }
    }

    , If I remove the preloader ActionScript flash animation plays correctly. You can see it here: http://demo.matthewpavkov.com/adairsolar/no-preload

    The .fla is available for those who want to take a closer look.

    mjjp,

    Can just that in IE, the ProgressEvent never triggers - because your content is already cached.  See what happens if you add the following lines again (end of the sample code):

    this.stop();

    this.loaderInfo.addEventListener(  ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING);function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {  var pcent:Number=event.bytesLoaded/event.bytesTotal*100;  lbar.scaleX=pcent/100;  lpc.text=int(pcent)+"%";  if (pcent>=100) {    this.gotoAndStop(2);  }}if (this.loaderInfo.bytesLoaded >= this.loaderInfo.bytesTotal) {  this.gotoAndStop(2);}

    See what's happening?  In this way, even the Manager ProgressEvent never triggers, you always compare the bytesLoaded, bytesTotal property property.
