NET framework updates continually try to install

There are problems with the latest NET Framework updates.  The first time, they have tried to install it several other updates there.  All were installed successfully EXCEPT the NET Framework updates.  Then, I got an error message that they can be installed and asked to send an automatic report because of this failure to Microsoft, I did.  Since then, there are 3 updates that are constantly trying to install.  NET Framework are all.  I tried 4 times. Whenever I tells me that they managed, and yet I still have the icon that tells me these same 3 updates are ready to install.  Every time I turned off the computer they are supposed to be installed again.  There is no other error message.  Please tell us how to fix this irritating problem with these updates from Microsoft.

  • NET Framework Update KB2804577 watch in my list of programs, but also continuous appears in Microsoft Update as downloaded and waiting to be installed.

The update a few months ago... Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 (KB2804577), continues to appear in my list of installed updates. But according to updates from Microsoft, it is downloaded and ready to be installed. He also appeared in my sandbox with automatic updates as ready to be installed. He also continues to appear when I shut down my computer. Any number of times when I tried to leave my computer to install this update when I close down, by means of Microsoft Updates and automatic update. It will simply not go away! Since it puts in my list of programs updated, is it updated? If so, why he continues to show needing to be installed? I run Windows XP. IE8.

Sorry, it took so long to answer. To answer your questions, no he didn't is not updated and that's why he continues to show. This is a common problem with updates of the .NET Framework.

    Follow these steps:

Download it manually here. Click on download and choose NDP20SP2-KB2804577 - x 86 .exe. Install it and then visit Windows Update and check if it shows as a high priority. If it isn't there, you should no longer be disturbed by it.

If it's still there, follow these steps:

Uninstall .NET Framework 2.0 from Add / Remove programs.
Then download the .NET Framework cleanup tool , unzip it, run it, and in the drop-down list box, select 2.0 and clean.
    Reinstall .NET Framework 2.0
Visit Windows Update or Microsoft Update and let it install the rest of the 2.0 updates, including KB2804577.

Check if they install and report.

  • Windows Update KB953297 (Net Framework 1.1) does not install

    Hello

    Windows Xp Sp3

Procedure of common windows update wants to install update KB953297 security

Updated download and inilialises, but refuses to install.

    What's wrong?

    What is the solution?

    Keith Keith

Thanks Adamjy12345!  Amazing!  After spending a whole day with MS support yesterday, January 27, 2010 and getting nowhere, I followed your suggestion today and it seems that my troubles with the issue of the kb953297 are more.  I just rebooted and checked, and this time I have not asked me to update .net framework (953297 KB).

I don't I remember exactly what I've done since the shock of seeing "installed successfully" hit me.  However, for others, I say lets find the netfx files after you run the dotnetfx.exe first the search option of windows classic.  Research others (I am running windows XP PRO) does not work, because I believe that it does not immediately again locate files.  Also, I do not see the file named netfx.msi when I did the search.

Wait now, new information appears: my memory starts to come back, and I think remember me that * NPD1 * successfully completed the second time I tried without me having to tell her where the * netfx files were; so NDP1.sp1 - KB953297 - X 86 .exe found the files there without my help, even though I've never actually seen the netfx.msi file location!  I hope you have the same chance.  Don't forget to run dotnetfx.exe first, then run the NDP*.exe file at least twice, if it doesn't work the first time.  I know it's illogical, but well, these things are too complicated for me to describe with precision.

p.s., Adam - I don't know how "mark you' but of course you deserve.
    Update - I've tagged you 6 to 7.  Hope it's what you mean. (Jan 28/10 @ 1115hrs.)
    Greetings to all.

    Hello somebodysomewhere,

I would try to see if you can install mode without failure.
    To access Safe Mode:
    (a) restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
    (b) select an option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and press ENTER.
    (c) when the boot menu appears again, and the words "Safe Mode" appear in blue at the bottom, select the installation that you want to start, and then press ENTER.

Then try to run the .NET Framework 4 that you have already downloaded.

Please answer back with an update and let us know.

  • Net Framework updates...

Download Net Framework new updated... that takes away the old updates or I have to delete them manually?

    Hi Dan,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    • Are you facing any problem installing these updates?

The .NET Framework is a technology that supports the creation and execution of the next generation of applications and XML Web services. The .NET Framework is designed to fulfill the following objectives:

    • To provide a coherent oriented object as the object code programming environment is stored and executed locally, executed locally but distributed on the Internet or run remotely.

    • To provide a code-execution environment which minimizes software deployment and versioning conflicts.

    • To provide a code-execution environment that promotes safe execution of code, including code created by an unknown third party or partial trust.

    • To provide a running code environment that eliminates the problems of performance of scripted or interpreted environments.

    • Do the developer experience consistent across very different types of applications, such as Web applications and Windows-based applications.

    • To build all communication on industry standards to ensure that code based on the .NET Framework can integrate with any other code.

The system automatically updates the previous version of the updates on your PC. All you have to do is to restart the computer if an update is installed so that it can be successfully configured.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.
