• Flex Builder 3 plugin question extracted Installer

  I downloaded the Flex Builder 3 for Windows plugin today and tried to run in. The InstallerAnyWhere has a popup saying "Please select another location to extract the installer to" but anywhere on my system file I select it still maintains the same question. Only option is to cancel the installation at this point. Anyone know when this will be fixed?

  It seems that our corporate firewall corrupts the download. I have access toa version someone downloaded home and that worked correctly.

  I just wanted to let anyone interested know

  I got this works in the following way in a script

  var hostConfig = new PowerShellHostConfig()

  Download the plugin to create an instance of the host of this configuration by using the update call

  var host = PowerShellHostManager.update (hostConfig);

  If the configuration is correct, you get an instance of the valid host that you can now call commands on. Looking at the Java code for the plugin, the update method does the following

  Check the config for a host ID.

  If ID is found

  then search for this instance and return it

  on the other

  create and validate a new instance of the host for this config and returning

  There are a few side effects / traps to consider here though

  Gotcha 1.     PowerShellHostConfig has no Member for a host ID attribute if you always create a new instance using this method. New instances will appear in your inventory as of the configs duplicate with different instance ID

  Gotcha 2.     During the validation of the hostConfig during the creation of the host, a the connection test is performed using the specified configuration. In other words, you will see that recorded in the log file of the server so it will look like two connections were established in quick succession if you then an invoke on the new host

  Gotcha 3.     Because of the 1 witch hunt, you should probably do PowerShellHostManager.remove (host) at the end of your script

  Gotcha 4.     If you use 3 to clean up inventory know that if your script/workflow terminates with an error/exception then remove it might not happen. Thus, use the error handling, or finally clause in order to ensure that it is executed. Of course if the deletion up a mistake then all bets are off

  I'm new to jQuery and Plug-ins. I have a jQuery code I would like to include in my application for Image Map, but I can't make it work. There are two separate files with jQuery in them below for the plug-in code. could someone give me an idea of how I need to include the code in my application?

  2. I don't know if the file downloaded. I received a message "File uploaded" back, but the static file report now displays an error. ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00918: ambiguous column defined, so I can't confirm the file is actually there or remove it and re-upload.

  The file is there and will be downloaded when you get the HTML code to include this right.

  I've never seen this error before, but it indicates that you should do this with the software of production on apex.oracle.com rather than tryapexnow.com. You are interested in this app, only not tested/evaluated APEX 4.1.

  Now, when I load the map image page it gets a JavaScript error. The page works always, but not the maphilight.

  Yes. Use the alwaysOn option in the $. maphilight.defaults.

  It might be a little weird that the image map areas are not coinciding with the features of the design, but it is powerful enough, it offers the possibility of a level of abstraction of physical details. However in this case I think it's better not to show hotspots: users (who are familiar with the original drawings) click exactly on the point they are interested and the abstraction provided by the image map translated this down to the level of detail required by the system. The user is not exposed to a model they don't know.

  You must call the Begin method before you make a call on the IPrintDeviceInfo interface and the end of the method should be called when done with the help of this interface. This should solve your problem

  I use currently a version track Flex builder available for vCenter-Extension development. We do you use Flex if often, should I buy Flex builder (Flash Builder 4.6) license for the development of a plugin-vCenter. Ask yourself what are cost-benefit vs specifically for the development of vCenter plug-in that I can point to for justification to our society.

  Some of the tools provided by VMware are clean enough, such as the project creation wizard vSphere-Web-Client which has Flex-Plugin. This has a dependency on Flex/Flash builder?

  If you are developing a serious plugin I recommend to get the license of Flash Builder (or try a few days without it to see the difference).  As the doc to install SDK says:

  "Adobe Flash Builder is not required to compile Flex code (the Flex compiler is included with the Flex SDK, see how it is used by Ant scripts provided with examples of the software development kit), but you should install it to enjoy the debugger and have a better development of experience within Eclipse.

  The project creation wizard is an Eclipse plugin that does not rely on Flash Builder.

  Hello 4646tm, I understand your frustration. Here's how to remove a plugin:
  Click the menu and then click on Add ons, which looks like a piece of a puzzle.

      Type about:plugins into the Location bar and press Enter to display the About Plugins page.
     Each entry in the About Plugins page will have "File:" and "Path:", showing the name and location of the plugin file. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder shown for the plugin you want to remove.
     Rename the file to add an X in front of the filename (for instance, npswf32 becomes Xnpswf32).
  

  You said that you do not want links, but I'll give you a couple just in case you do not want to uninstall the plugins manually. These links are to pages that tell you how to run the uninstall it please do not hesitate to tell me if you think that they are not useful.

  Uninstall QuickTime - Windows Vista/7

  Follow the instructions:

  Please excuse if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to the development of BB.

  Can I have several versions of SDK and plug-in installed in one Eclipse install?  I understand that the latest version of the SDK requires the latest version of Eclipse, but if I want to develop features in 5.0, 4.7,4.5 BB, etc, don't I need a different IDE installation for each version of the SDK software/Plugin or can they co-exist?

• Acrobat Reader plugin signature yellow question mark

  I develop a plugin for digital signature (mainly for the reader but should work as well in Acrobat format). I have a basic proof of concept works, with the signing and verification and custom signature appearance, but I am getting a yellow question mark great displayed behind my appearance.

  I've seen other posts on this forum who suggested the certificate must be approved, but I did and I always get the question mark.

  What could I do it wrong? What should I do to make the question mark disappears?

  (I'm in dev/test with Acrobat Reader DC and a certificate self-signed on Windows 10.)

  The value default, kindly added by Acrobat/Reader, for the layer of n1, if I do not set anything, is this big ol' ' point yellow question mark. The solution is simply to make optional the L1 layer and the question mark disappears.

  I have a second Select list that is configured as a page item list select Standard.

  I try to have the second element of the page list select Standard like a waterfall LOV based on the plugin Select2, so when one or the values are selected in the plugin Select2 I want the list item select Standard to hold the values based on the plugin Select2.

  The Standard selection list has the Parent article (s) as the plugin Select2 LOV waterfall and the query made reference to the plugin Select2.

  Since the plugin Select2 likes the selection list Standard may not Submit/redirection is why my list select Standard is not get the values. I tried to put a dynamic Action to requery the list select Standard when the plugin Select2 is changed, but looks like there is no case of "onchange" of the plug-in.

  Can someone help me to get this set up?
