Network connections not adapters appears.

I go into the network connections Panel and I get a blank screen, as if no adapter was installed.

I can connect to the internet, both wireless and Ethernet connections, my Device Manager shows the cards installed and says he has no problem with them, but they do not appear in the Panel of the network connections, and if I try to pass options there I have: "an unexpected error has occurred" message and that's it.

Can anyone tell my why is what is happening and how to fix it?

Hello

The network adapter might need to be reset, or the driver for the card may need to be updated. Try to use the troubleshooter from network card to solve the problem.
Method 1.
Uninstall and reinstall the network adapter, (make sure you delete the files from the disk is checked during the uninstallation)

1. click on the Start button.
2. in the search box type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
3. Select the sound card device and right click on it
4. now, select Properties.
5. in the Properties window, on the driver tab, click Uninstall.
6. After uninstalling the drivers, restart the computer.

This should install it automatically the appropriate drivers for it. For more information visithttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly

Method 2.
a. open the card network troubleshooting utility by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.
(b) in the search box, type troubleshooting and then click Troubleshooting.
c. click on show all and then click on the network card.

Method 3.
If the problem persists, follow the steps in troubleshooting.
Please check if you are facing the same question when working in mode safe mode with networking.
a. restart your computer.
b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows Vista Advanced Boot Options.
c. using the arrow keys, select Safe mode with networking option.
d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to boot mode safe mode of Windows 7 with networking.
e. when Windows starts, check if the network card is listed. (Use an ethernet connection in SafeMode with networking)

If the problem exists not in Mode safe run mode startup minimum troubleshooting to find the root cause of the problem:

Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

Method 4.
When you run the network troubleshooter utility, any problem found, along with any solution, appears in the dialog of the resolution of network issues. If it has more detailed or technical information about the problem and possible solutions, it is saved in one or more event logs. Administrators of networks and the technical support staff can use the information in the event logs to analyze connectivity problems or help implement solutions.

See the article below for more information.

Do you use Customizing to OS using vmware or sysprep vworkspace function. If you are using vmware options are trying to generate an empty image and deploy it using vworkspace with sysprep option.

I'm not familiar with your problem but I don't know that when you sysprep and the deployment of a server using vworkspace work perfectly.

Otherwise run your vmware customization to see if there is something wrong.

  • H8 Pavilion - 1280t: HP Pavilion HPE network connection not MPS 1000

    Hello

My wired network connection is only 100 Mbps instead of 1000 Mbps. I have an end switch 24 ports. Other systems are shoeing 1000 Mbps connections. All HP updates are up to date. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Darrell

    Hi, Darrell:

According to the specifications of your PC, it comes with a gigabit ethernet RTL8171EH-CG controller.

On my professional notebook HP 350 G1 with a Realtek gigabit ethernet controller, the tab advanced settings for the ethernet controller in the Device Manager it is a setting the speed and Duplex.

The default value on mine is auto-negotiation, and when I connect a cat 5e cable to the ethernet port, I get a 1 Gbps connection.

However, there are other settings in the drop-down menu on mine allowing me to put a 1.0 Gbps full duplex connection.

You can try if your card has the same group of settings.

My son has a 580 s Dell.  This PC has a Broadcom gigabit ethernet card and I couldn't get the thing to connect to more than 100 Mbps.

After checking on some forums, it turns out that on this platform, you must connect a Cat 6 cable to the ethernet port in order to get a speed of 1 Gbps of the thing.

I got a cable Cat 5e branch above and when I changed to Cat 6, Lo and behold, I got the 1 Gbps connection, that it has been evaluated.

  • 1536dnf MFP network connection not recognized

I have a relatively new (~ 2 months) LaserJet MFP of 1536dnf which has been correctly installed and running on my network via an ethernet connection that is inflexible.  However, recently the printer lost connection to the network.  The lights next to the ethernet port are active no (flashing or fixed), the printer or at the level of the network switch it is plugged.

I tried the following steps to remedy the situation, independently and in combination:

    • Restarted the printer via the Start button / stop
    • Restarted the printer via the withdrawal / reconnect power cord
    • The network switch reset
    • Replace the ethernet cable
    • Moved ethernet connection to different port network switch
    • Reinstall the printer drivers

None of these steps has corrected the situation.  Network Jack lights remained "off" after each step.

Is there anything else I can try or is it fair to say that the Ethernet on the printer somehow stopped working?

    Thanks in advance!

You did well with the information.  However, I think that you need to enter your receipt and take it back or call HP because I believe that the Ethernet port may have gone wrong.

  • Photon: Dropped calls and network connectivity problems

I bought my Photon August 18 and he was not long for me first to the problems with network connectivity.

The phone displays signal on the phone, but when you try to call, send text messages or surf the web. Zilch.

A soft reset works every time. I've had some experience with the issue of the "appeal of ghosts", but had no network connectivity so often that he was too much a problem. Restores the soft 3-4 per day.

I took the phone to the Sprint store and they told me that my phone verified and were not hardware problems that may be found. I said at the time on the update of the software of MR5 and was anxious to see how the phone after the update.

I received the update on Wednesday and the phone worked fine. No appeal of ghost, no network connectivity not problems, only dropped the call.

Now, Friday morning, I lost network connectivity despite seeing the strength of the signal and had to perform a soft reset to regain connectivity. My wife and I bought this phone at the same time. She had many calls interrupted before the update and we both experienced after that update eventhough signal showing on the phone is at least two if not more bars.

Is this a known issue? Is it going to be/CAN this be corrected by a software update? Is this phone a lemon and he'll remember?

I LOVE this phone. I don't want to get rid of it, but...

Seriously. It's a phone! Making calls should be the FIRST thing that is done right.

Please, someone, Motorola, reassure me that this isn't a lemon and that network problems are going to be fixed. I CAN wait, but I don't want to get stuck with two phones for $200 that need to be pampered just to be usable.

    Thank you

    TC

Yes, it turns out that be was a buggy phone. Two stores tested Sprint phone for reception of the signal and they said that it spent; but as said the technician in the second store, the tests they take place the phone in ideal conditions.

The two stores I've visited, said they were ready to replace the phone, but my first visit came just before the MR5 update software while I was willing to wait to see if the update corrects the problem. It didn't, but the replacement of the second store phone works fine with upgrading to MR5 and really no problem.

I'll go ahead and mark this question as a response, but if you experience the same problems of chance complete loss of all network connectivity (Sprint or otherwise), I recommend getting the phone replaced. It is a bad camera.

Oh and the technician at the second store mentioned the network problems. It has been a problem for them, but the most telling proof of the issue of network is random dropped calls. So if from time to time, you lose a call under the conditions of good network signal, it's probably not your phone and Sprint. I have almost that many abandoned calls as of late, so it could have been the wrong phone I had that really amplified the problem... or... Sprint has got some of the bugs in our region.

Thank you for looking in. I hope that your problems are as easy to solve as mine and I hope that you are still within your 30 days so that you get a new replacement.

    Best wishes

  • My wifi network connection does not appear

Hello! I hope someone here can help me out.

The other day my household switched internet companies, and they gave me a new network name and password to connect to the wifi. However, the new network is not displayed on the list of my laptop Vaio wifi connections! My neighbours networks are all appear, and I am still able to connect to other wifi networks, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the WiFi on my laptop (the wifi driver is up-to-date as well). In addition, my phone and Tablet have no problem finding and connecting to the network, identical to those of the other computers in my house, so I know that it is not a problem with the router or the connection itself. The router and laptop have all both been restarted, but that did not help either.  We tried to call the internet society, but they believe it is a problem with the computer itself, since it is the only one that the network does not appear on. It's just the network that does not appear in my list of available connections. I have never experienced a problem like this before!

Can someone help me understand what could be the cause this and tips to help repair?

For reference, my laptop is a Sony's Vaio, model number: VPCCB22FD, running Windows 7 (which is what it came with).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi hard_shark,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

What is the type of your wireless router? (You can call your service provider if you don't know). Your computer is too far from the wireless router? It's pretty hard, but we're going to isolate it for us to solve the problem.

    • Power cycle or reset your router. (Even once, you can call your ISP for help). Power cycle your laptop as well. Just remove the battery and press the power button for 5 seconds.
    • Reinstall wireless driver. - Start -> type-> Device Manager double-click network adapters -> right click and Uninstall (DO NOT REMOVE) the wireless network card driver-> to restart the laptop.
    • If still the same then download again the driver wifi: Intel® WiFi Link 1000 BGN Driver then restart the unit.
    • Run the Windows updateand Vaio update .
    • Run convenience store -> Start -> type Troubleshooting -> click on network and Internet -> select network card , then follow the instructions on the screen.
    • go to the control panel-> (as read by: category) under network and Internet, select view network status and tasks -> click on set up a new connection or network -> connect to Internet -> No, create a new connection -> select Wireless and follow the instructions on the screen.

    Hope these helps.

    Kind regards

    Vincent

  • Wireless adapters not finding Win8 network connections

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion P6 2340ea running windows 8. I use a Netgear N150 WNA1100 Wireless Network Adapter, this adapter worked fine until the other day when I connected a Bluetooth of Plugable USB BT4LE adapter into the PC. The bluetooth adapter is windows 8 compatible, but the PC does not recognize the bluetooth adapter and the LED on the bluetooth adapter did not indicate that she was supposed to. I unplugged the bluetooth adapter and that's when I realized that my Netgear adapter had stopped working. I plugged the adapter netgear on another pc and it works fine and detects / connects to the network. When plugged into the PC indicated above is present on the control panel of features though but does not detect network connections. I am aware that USB 3.0 devices can cause interference and I don't have any of these connected devices it is excluded. I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers win8 to the Netgear adapter and this has not solved the problem, I tried other things are as follows: disable activate card, enable/disable antivirus/firewall, netsh winsock reset at the command prompt. I also checked the autoconfiguration WLAN service was running and set to automatic, which it is, then I tried stop and start the autoconfiguration WLAN service and I get the error: error 1503: service has failed to demand launch or control in a timely, I don't know if this has nothing to do with the problem?

I hope I've provided enough information and I've used up so many things to try as possible.

    Thank you.

I tried one last thing before your suggestion less. I started the PC in safe mode with networking, the device does not work immediately, I went into Device Manager and disabled and then activated the device and that he began working again, booted normal backup and everything works fine.

Thank you very much for your help, kudos given.

  • Internet connection sharing: "Bluetooth network connection" does not appear in the list "Home Networking connection."

    Hello.

With Windows 7, I want to share the network connection Wi - Fi with Bluetooth through PAN (Personal Area Network).

When there are several connections in addition to Bluetooth after opening "Share" tab, I see these connections in the "Home Networking connection" list, but there is no Bluetooth. Then, when there is no connection in addition to Bluetooth which I can share with, there is no tab "share."
