• Is there a way to make a new layer of a selection by simply dragging?

  Recently, I watched a video of an artist working and I swear that looks like it's a selection lasso on a smart object layer, drag the selection and immediately created a new layer of the selection only. He was successively to the parts of the sample of an image for later use. I can't understand for the life of me how he did it, and I can't find anywhere that the PS has this ability. On the one hand lasso an area of a dynamic object does not allow me to reproduce that selection, PS is like I want to duplicate the entire image, if I hold down the ALT key. Also, if I try to make a duplicate of a selection to a layer non-smart object I can duplicate the selection by dragging in now ALT, but the duplicate is always on the same layer as the original object, which is NOT what I want. I know how to use copy and paste, so please do not suggest that I have to do this, OR use the CTRL + J I am just trying to understand what makes this person. If it makes no sense to me, I can provide a link to the video...

  Perhaps you missed to copy it paste because he used the Ctrl + C Ctrl + V shortcuts that would not be seen in a video. It would look like a brake in a video...

  Well it explain. You have no 3D feature. Only the Standard CS6 does not have 3D versions, later do.

  Create all the partitions once the installation is complete.

  Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

  Click Install now

  Accept the license agreement

  When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

  Click on drive Options

  Select the disc/s click on Delete

  Click new

  Click on apply

  Click OK

  Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

  Hi, I tried to do a job (using this tutorial, http://goo.gl/kUj2YX), but when I get to the step to trace the path that I did, I cannot select "stroke path".

  I've read similar to this discussion, but none of them helped me to solve this problem.

  You need to have the selected path as indicated, you must also have an active or brush tool and I do not see your layers palette, but you must have a layer on which you can add pixels: normal layer.

• New Catalogue of images selected in other Catalogues

  Hi guys,.

  I have several catalogs Lightroom 2.5. I would like to select several images of each catalog and put them in a new catalog.

  The reason - in each catalog I've marked images that I want to print. I want to create a new catalog with only images with an indicator of other catalogs to make a contact print or multi images on a sheet of paper.

  I know I could create a Master Catalog, select the images with indicator and can print but I would just have a catalog to feel like I could add pictures, other catalogs.

  Its there a way to do this?

  In each catalog, select the images and select file > export as catalog. When you're done, create a new catalog and then use file > import in the catalog to each of those exported.

  When you're done you can do all this, put some time next to think what you could do with all the time you used just straight up. With a unique catalogue of master, you could already see your impressions and drinking coffee, with your feet up on the desk, too.

  Running in safe mode. In the Preferences menu, I have the "open new window in a new tab instead" box checked but when I click on links the new page opens in the current window. If I order click on I have the ability to open the new window in a new tab

  The setting in tools > Options > tabs: "new pages should be opened in ': 'a new tab/window' is for links that specify a target window to open the link.
  
  This option allows to divert these links into a new tab instead of a new window.

  Links that do not specify a target still open in the current tab, unless you redefine with a middle or click Ctrl left click (new tab) or a left click UPDATE (new window) or via the context menu.

• Why firefox will not open a hot link in a new tab? I selected the parameter which is supposed to do this, but Firefox insists when you open a new window every time! It's annoying as hell.

  OK... um, I'm on Mac OS10.4.11 (not sure about the last two digits, but you get the idea). I installed the latest update of Firefox maybe a week ago... my monitor crapped out yesterday, so I replaced it with a bigger I had to hang out. I have used this monitor with this machine before and had no problem with getting Firefox to open links I clicked on in a new tab. As directed by your help site, I checked "size" of the monitor and it was as always. I have even reduced the "size" of the screen, but not joy.

• After Update 9.3.4 I can't record a new greeting VM or select by default.  Something I can try to solve this problem?
