  I I learn Oracle Apex and finished some OBEs thereon. I'm very excited about the platform and love. But a lot of questions come to mind.
  
  As I understand it, a workspace, is a 'place' to develop applications and release and from this workspace, I can export an application to deploy on another server, but I don't see any option on what tables must be exported.
  
  In a space of work/scheme, can I have more than one app, and I don't see where you define the tables that belong to each application.
  
  I see no more, how upgrade works. If I have deployed an application on a client, and I need to upgrade, update the database, without loss of data is automatically?

  Paintings and objects from database that must be treated separately from the application. If you look at the SQL workshop in the generator of the Apex, there are tools to export database object.

  You can have one or more schemas by workspace. And an application can use no matter what patterns are available in the workspace or whether the workspace schema has been granted through the grants database diagrams.

  Export application can be completely (most of the time) independent of the data and database objects. If you change the structure of your database objects with your upgrade of the application, then you must update the database objects so that the application can run. All features of the application depend on the Exchange database will not work.

  Another thing I don't have very good, understad is about installing the runtime.

  The runtime installation does basically not any changes to the application definition after installation. You must keep an independent site where you make the development or modification of your application. Deploying a runtime application is not reversible, which means that you can change it to an editable application once you have set it as run-time only.

  VLC 2.1.3.0 2.1.5.0 upgrade plugin (Firefox, Windows 7 x 64 31) but Firefox it still shows as 2.1.3.0 and up to date. I checked the registry and there new version. I remember the years there is a folder in windows where the old dll version file would occasionally stay. Any help here?

  Not quite sure if my problem is covered here, looks like that's not. Plugin check showed that it is 2.1.3 and not upward to date, but rather necessary updated 2.1.5. I had 2.1.5 VLC installed, but uninstalled, downloaded the latest 2.1.5 and installed (again) after a restart of the computer. Topic: Plugins still shows 2.1.3 and verifying, firefox still displays that I need to update my VLC plugin.

  When you install a new application, is it necessary to start from a clean boot to ensure that no application works?  Somewhere, a long time ago, we advised me to always be in a boot environment when installing new applications and have always respected this notice since.  However, I recently learned that is not necessary and may even be counterproductive because some Microsoft Services are needed for new facilities.  My goal is to have no corrupted installations to avoid future problems, but I have nothing seems to give me resistance gremlin 100% and I still have my share of challenges.   Almost all applications that I install contains the warning to make sure that no application works before installing.  Can anyone tell me with authority the best way to ensure that new installations of new applications please?  In addition, the same orientation for Win XP Pro to do with Win 7 Home Premium please?  Thank you.

  YW. Yes, I think an important thing to take away is to realize that it is better to only install the necessary Windows updates 'priority '. There is one exception, apparently. Recently, an MVP made me notice that updates to certificate root (which although considered "Optional" are virtually useful updates to security for IE) must be installed as well.

  But others are optional and since then, they can be VERY problematic (especially updates of pilot and the dreaded Windows Search 4.0), you really should stay away from them!

• JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 won't let me finish everything by creating new applications

  I tried to create a new application (application can be either webcenter Portal framework application or fusion) using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.7. When I click on new application, it is letting me to give names and application of project and the selection of project technologies.

  but in the last step (finish) for creating application, is not let me go with finishing and Jdeveloper subsequently becomes inadmissible.

  I did uninstall and reinstall of the Jdeveloper, but without success.

  Can you please provide control points towards the resolution of the problems.

  Rename the folder 'C:\Users\s0000647\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.7.40.64.93' C:\Users\s0000647\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\ORGsystem11.1.1.7.40.64.93' and start jdev. JDev may ask you if you want to migrate from a previous version. Please, answer "no" and continue.

  We JDev is once again, try to create a new application and see if it works. Come back here with your findings.
