• In CS4 Tween properties

  Hi all

  I'm rusty.  Do not Flash for awhile. Just installed CS4.

  I used CS3 and Flash 8 (macromedia).

  I'm working on a file that was created in maybe flash cs3 or flash 8, another developer.

  It shows the tweens on the timeline.  The developer creates bland interpolations, with names like

  "Turn 1" etc.  The fades are on the symbols (the developer converted JPEGs to symbols)

  from 100% to 0% alpha.  I can see the fade range from 100 to 0, but I'm

  Impossible to see the properties of 'alpha' when I select the symbol or the Tween in the timeline panel.

  The interpolation is displayed in the timeline as a line with an arrowhead to the keyframe at the

  visibility tends to zero.  I don't seem to be able to see the properties for interpolation, or 100 in keyframe 1 to 0 in the key 20.

  No information present in the CS4 'motion Editor.

  I created an interpolation in a layer that I added, and it seems that CS4 display more lines with arrowheads, but

  use a different color for the tween range.  And I get the properties of the query in the editor of 'Motion '.

  I don't know that it is pilot error.  Given that I just installed CS4, etc..  How can I display the properties of the tween, as

  Alpha on a symbol created in an earlier version of Flash?

  Hello

  There is a new query functionality in CS4, it's why you can see the properties in the query for these interpolations new editor, but not the 'old'. In CS4, you can animate the properties of a single object, so that in earlier versions of Flash you tween between two bodies instead of animate the properties of a single object (and as such, the query editor can be used for the old style of pre-teens). So the classic tweens, you are limited to how Flash has always work in favour of these interpolations (look in the PI) and new motion tweens allow you the use of query editor for the review of the interpolated properties.

• Can not get the work of tween movement!

  I'm new to Flash and work on creating a simple animation. I have prepared objects, but the problem is that I can't run motion tween. As a result, I tried a just very basic motion tween increase the size of text from one frame to the other and cannot even that work. I followed the basic steps, text converted to symbol etcetera objects. What is seen is for executives from 1 to 9 it does not change and in the frame of 10, there is a change suddenly in size.   Yes, you are looking in the correct place ("Inspector" is the official term - it is confusing because it is not at the top of the Panel).

  The reason why you don't see it is because you are using a new motion tween. Sorry, I thought you were in a classic tween, but then I realized it was someone else (they should seek scale option!)

  To resolve, all you need to do is move the playhead on the location of the span where you want the ladder at the end, and it fits. No keyframes required.

  Hello

  Go t the location where you want to create the new folder, right-click and select new/folder. Name the folder.

  Go to where the files, select the files and then use the right mouse button to drag the files into the new folder. When you drop the file, a pop-up menu, select the Move option.

  I am wanting a graphic element to fade as it changes shape - shape went very well, but the alpha slider starts moving the shape around the stage!

  Is this a classic Tween?  Images key with irregularly placed points of alignment can cause problems like that, if you want to be sure that the registration point is in the same position in two key frames.

  To move the anchor point, use the transform tool to select your symbol; Then click and drag the little white circle... it must be aligned on Center & edges.  Make sure that it is in the same place on all chassis.

  Adobe have not tested the CS4 on Windows 7, but you can try to install it should work.

  You can try to go into the properties of the image in the library and select the option to allow smoothing.  Who can help.

  I'm trying to get letters follows a curved path. I copied the path to a letter (Word, broken into pieces and put in separate layers), then moved to the next section and moved the following letter to where the other allows himself to be and added the path to the new letter. Either the letters end up grouping so that they travel in a single word, instead of a continuation of another letter (if I match exactly the paths), or that they eventually take slightly different paths and looking for funny. I hope that makes sense. Basically, once the letters follow the curve, they should finish by in reverse, if they travel separately, but I can't quite remove. Would like advice on how to do this a better way.

• New CS4 style keyframing

  Hi guys, just an another CS4 beginner in panic on the "new skool" interpolation. I'm sure I'll love it once everything flows, but at the moment, there are a few things that seem strange and I'm looking for advice...
  
  Something that I noticed last night that was different in terms of workflow was consecutive objects animation. Imagine the table of following simple storyboard:
  -a picture appears on the screen and gradually grows in size while the gradual estrangement
  -After the picture has completely disappear, a new picture appears on the screen and grows in size while the gradual estrangement.
  
  Now 'old skool' I would have saved my real estate timeline by having both of these images on the same layer. Since they are not visible at the same time, you can delete (delete) the first image and drop it in the second image and everything is peachy.
  
  I found that this was not the case in CS4. Here's what happens to AFAICR:
  -import the first image on stage. It appears in a layer
  -converting a graphic symbol
  -activate the motion on this subject Tween
  -animate the object of the Framework 1-20
  -I could not understand how "delete" otherwise subject to divide the movement to a keyframe on frame 21 and then delete the scene.
  
  -import the second photo with the new keyframe (empty) on the layer 1 frame selected 21 (I expect the image to import into this layer)
  -a new layer is created with the image to frame 1. Fine. Cut it from Layer 2, frame 1 and paste in the frame of layer 1 21. Remove layer 2
  -convert this image to a graphic
  -apply the motion tween
  
  instantly the image in this new graphics object is actually replaced (even in the library!) with photo 1. When I go into the library and edit the library item and fall in photo 2, photo of the graphic symbol of #1 is now changed to Picture 2 as well! Amazing.
  
  So, what's the answer here? I ended up putting just one image per layer, but it seems to me that this will make for a horrible mess if you do a manual editing animation of a sequence of images - you could potentially end up with tens of layers!

  Hey there,

  Ah, I see what is happening. The box "synchronize graphics" should be selected for the interpolations in the PI. Make sure the option is * unselected * when you create the motion tweens and the image will not be exchanged. In the property inspector of the request under 'Options '. (it's the same with classic tweens as well).

  I have a character that I'm trying to animate. In particular, it's an arm, hands and fingers. Animation is almost a character a "come and get your butt kick" animation with his gesture.

  Each of the three elements (arm, hand, finger) are separated from the symbols... all the derivatives of copy/paste from Illustrator. I put the key frames of animation for each, the selection as a whole (select offset) and adjustment by the pivot point.

  When I choose the motion tween, it does nothing, it jumps again, but color insists that the interpolation is there. I tried classic Tween and animate all except the finger properly. Classic Riddle does not allow more than two elements.

  What can be the problem:

  -For each symbol (don't forget 3 of them) if I go in this symbol, must all be broken apart? At the time of writing this, I have only 3 symbols. But I thought that maybe in the symbols having groups is a bad thing?
