  I opened a new account hotmail 2 days ago, as the computer Windows 7 brand new did not support my Outlook Express email address existing. It is quite normal for a new account holder you need to send a lot of people immediately to inform them of his developments without such problems. Also, is there no way that holders hotmail account can contact hotmail to report any difficulties? I don't mind sharing my problems with others if it helps, but I'm unable to disclose specific information about my account.

  I have created a new address hotmail and password account - then managed to send emails, disconnected.

  However, when I went back in this new account (or tried to) it wouldn't accept my new password!

  I tried several variations but still no luck.

  I then opened a new page and tried to enter the characters of verification, but they were wrong.  I checked my caps lock turned off (and it was!) yet despite trying to type the letters of character as I saw them in the box below it typed in capitals - so I'm not sure what the Devil's going on.

  I have my hotmail account set as Microsoft Outlook on the laptop using a USB from Rogers modem to connect to internet (I put in place using outlook connector).  I want to configure my hotmail account in Outlook Express (I don't think that we can have two separate accounts of Microsoft Outlook email on a laptop).  I'm absolutely baffled as the server name, incoming and outgoing mail server addresses.  By Rogers Web site, the incoming server is POP3 incoming mail server: pop.broadband.rogers.com and mail server: smtp.broadband.rogers.com that does not work.

  The parameters you listed are for a Rogers.com e-mail account, not for a Hotmail account.  Please see How to add your e-mail to Microsoft Outlook Express account to the right settings.

  BTW, you can have two separate accounts of Microsoft Outlook on a laptop.  Here are two ways to do:

  • If you and your partner have separate Windows user accounts, you will automatically have separate Outlook accounts.
  • If you use the same Windows user account, create a separate profile for each of you in Control Panel > Mail .

  To import contacts and email from Hotmail addresses in your Outlook Express address book:

  • Set up access to your Hotmail account in Outlook Express.
    • If you already have contacts in your address book Outlook Express for the current identity and want to make sure that you only import Hotmail contacts, create a new Outlook Express identity for the Hotmail account.
  • Select Tools | Address book... from the menu in Outlook Express.
  • Choose Tools | Synchronize now in the menu of the address book.
    • If this choice is not available, make sure that you do not share contacts between Outlook Express and Outlook. Close and restart Outlook Express if you have made any changes to the contact sharing settings.
  • To import the contacts in a program other than Outlook Express e-mail, export the address book from the current identity and use the import feature of your mail client to add contacts from the .csv file.

  If someone is Spoofing emails that appear to come from you then they probably never
  had access to your e-mail account. Instead, they have either a copy of your contacts
  list or just an email from you or one of you where you were one of the recipients. Those
  could be gleaned either your computer, the computer of a friend, or hacking
  any site or intercept an email on your behalf or to you (you may not be the main)
  (beneficiary).

  Once they have this information there is nothing you can do to avoid that they don't
  send usurped messages. Warn your friends that is happening and they
  can be entitled to install rules such as parodies are treated as SPAM or JUNK
  mail.

  I've even seen usurped by email that appears to be from a valid user name however
  This name doesn't have an e-mail account on the mail system used in parody.
  As SpiritX - AT - realmail.com may be a valid account, however, parody used
  SpiritX - AT - wrongmail.com. The latter could still be considered an email address valid
  SpiritX if it was allowed through JUNK and JUNK e-mail filtering. (The - AT - has been used
  instead of so that those addresses would not be filtered by auto responses.

  Proceed to a very thorough check for malware and then change your password by e-mail.

  The reason why you want to do this is to make sure no more hacking your computer is
  still in effect (if it has been hacked). You have changed the password once but I would

  If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
  scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
  resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
  cause.

  No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
  to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
  its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
  extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

  the regular windows when you can.
