New issues of Fuze/Media Converter

I got a 8 gb Fuze for Christmas. I'm running Vista, and everything was fine with the "rocket" until I tried to put videos top. Everything is installed correctly, I've got the media player 11 and run the converter in compatibility mode with XP sp2, all drivers seem to be good, and I downloaded several different quicktime codecs and have finally fell down and downloaded quicktime itself (boo hiss apple) to get the required codec. Whenever I try to add a video (format is .avi) it crashes. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Thanks to another post on this forum, I was able to solve my problem. to convert the .avi files, I need to download and insall the pack k - lite codec. Thank you all for the help(sarcasm == wonderfull)

  • Media Converter, you see only no Fuze

    Hello

When I plug the "rocket" and select the option use the ith the Media Converter, it will open MC.  But he said no player available.  I got an e200 I used with MC all the time until I ran through the washing machine and you have not yet downloaded MC.  I looked on the support site for the download of MC and couldn't find it.

suggestions?  also, I downloaded a movie as an avi and had cast it MC.  I found it it 4 pieces in the MC file and dragged/clicked on the rocket, but thefuze does not see.

    New to the "rocket".

    Thank you

    you need the new SMC

  • Is there a way for the secret video files to the sansa fuze using QUICK MEDIA CONVERTER?

Is there a way for the secret video files to the sansa fuze using QUICK MEDIA CONVERTER?

Not really. The way final only ot add videos on the "rocket" is SMC. Rhapsody will do this also, but I don't know that its faster.

  • Sansa fuze is not detected on Sansa Media Converter

I used the converter of media before and it worked fine.  Yesterday, he said that there was no legacy avalible.  I reconnected it in several times.  I've changed modes.  Nothing has worked.  It is detected on the computer, but not the sansa Media Converter.  What's wrong?

Replace, might do the trick. Go to start menu click RUN. Type %AppData%, and then click OK. Search for SanDisk folder and you should find the installer of the SCM. Just run it again.

  • Is the new media converter supposed to do this?

I want to put songs on my rocket I copy a CD. the file extension is .cda

I tried to use the converter, but it won't do, so my question now becomes is the Media Converter

    capable of converting music files?

    If yes HOW?

You need a software like Exact Audio Copy ripping

There are many other programs for Windows and other operating systems. They transcode the data on the CD to MP3, WMA, OGG or FLA which includes the "rocket".

  • New Media Converter will not install

Right, so I used Sansa Updater to download the last Media Converter... But when I try to unzip it by clicking on the "Sansa Media Converter" icon under all programs-> Sandisk-Sansa Updater > he ask to free me 105,63 MB on my C:\ drive and click 'Retry '. I have about 20 GB free on my C:, lack of space certainly isn't the problem. Anyone else having the same problem? The recommended solutions?

Solved. All I had to do was unplug the "rocket", and the converter continued to install without any problem. This is something which should be mentioned in the installation instructions onscreen I think.

  • Media converter is not converting

Try using Sansa Media Converter on a jpg image.

I click on "Convert", and some activity seems to happen.  But when it's over, there is no converted image.  There is nothing.  Nothing in the designated destination folder and no change to the original or to the file image file corresponding on my connected Fuze +.

What is the point of this app if it creates any converted files?

Is there another place I can find the converted files, or is there a procedure I should follow that differs by the instructions help?

    Thank you

There is no need to convert .jpg files. Simply drag and drop them in the folder of Photos on your player.

  • Sansa Media Converter

Can someone help me? I have a minute 03:40 long video which is in mp4 format that I want to put my Sansa fuze, but whenever I have it put in Sansa media converter to load on it tells me that my file cannot be imported and I need to install the appropriate codec. I have two other files of the same video that I have converted wav and flv files online, but media converter says just that files do not exist.

What can I do to load the video on?

    Thank you!

    Use Video4Fuze.

  • Media Converter will not add no videos

I've got an 8 Gig Fuze +. I also have three videos about 700 MB each. I have about 2.5 GB on my drive.

I tried to add through the Sansa Media Converter. Went to the first, the second and the third did not. I tried the second and third again. Nope. In the second place only. Third party only. Double nope. Try again. Nope, once again. No reasons listed for why they do not.

    No idea why?

SMC has always been problematic. With the Fuze +, you are not limited to a good program. I would try a different video conversion program. Plug the video/requirements are here.

I have not heard someone using Video4fuze with the rocket + yet, but there apparently fine with the original "rocket". You could try.

  • Sasa Media Converter won't recognise my rocket reader!

    Hi all

I'm pretending have another problem with my (Version 4) sansa Media Converter and im hoping that one of you might be a solution for me...

My problem is that when I connect my Sansa Fuze to my computer (it is MTP mode), my computer recognzes I plugged a device of media, but Sansa Media Converter does not work! However, once I added my video file in the list convert, I have the conversion option (even if it should not, for it is said that it does not recognize a sansa media player connected). Now, when I push convert, it will NOT convert the file (I started it as a file .vob, hoping that it would turn into another type of file that would recognize the Sansa Fuze).

Now, after all this, I did some research and found out about All-Media-Converter! I used this program to convert the .vob file into a .mp4 file (hoping that I could a) begin to convert the file, if S.M.C. does not recognize the .vob files, or b) drag-and - drop the file on my Sansa Fuze).

None of these solutions would not work! So, is there a way I could get the Sansa Media Converter to recognize my Sansa Fuze and allow me to convert the file, allowing you to put me on my rocket!

    Thanks in advance!

    Huh... Problem solved...!

Funny story actually (well, maybe not "funny")

But anyway, I realized I have everything first, didn't race 4 S.M.C. (it was 3.something)!

And secondly, I had not even plugged (my USB cable in my computer... Remember how I said he was saying my computer seen...? Yes, it was for my mp3 player that I had plugged in... silly me!

in any case, I have downloaded 4 S.M.C., updated the Firmware thing and actually BRANCH IT IN!

    It works now... Thanks anyway!

Since the new update I can't convert my tracks, I downloaded in mp3. have they remove this feature? I used to be able to right click on a leaflet and create mp3 version of a wav file.

It is moved to the file > create a new Version.
