New need help graphics card

Hello

I have a HP Pavilion 6105uk Desktop PC with Vista and I am trying to update my graphics card.

Please could someone advise me on a decent replacement card which will work on the above machine

and if it will be easy to do it myself.

Thank you very much.

IDP316, I understand.  Here is a map that can work for you:

The "Détails" section does not have the necessary power.  You should be able to obtain this information from the manufacturer's website.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  If this card is not what you want, it will give you an idea of what you need.

    Hello

Your computer uses a standard ATX (PSU) power.  Open the PC and measure the size of the PSU.  Over 300 watts ATX HP power supplies should be 5.9 "by 3.4" 5.5 "then seek a replacement with the same measures.  Your PC is open, measure to see how much space you have a graphics card.  Study the posted article.

Corsair CS650m or CX600 would be a good choice for a power supply.

This EVGA GTX 970would be a good choice for a graphics card, but measure to make sure it fits.

  • HP ENVY 700-311na: need additional graphics card?

I would use 3 or 4 screens simultaneously running my PC with a different application.  That would be the ideal situation for my family tree project.  Is this possible?  Do I need another graphics card?  The graphics on the PC is an AMD Radeon R9 270, it already has 2 outputs and HDMI output but I struggle with this output, I can't use at the same time as the other 2 outputs.

According to the specifications of this video card:

    • Support up to three displays simultaneously in the following configuration:
      • DP + two other ports

  • Desktop HP Envy 750-114: do I need a new monitor or graphics card?

I have a HP Envy Office 750-114 and a HP. V242h color monitor, etc. on the monitor are flat, dull and almost gray. It has been like that since we have the computer about a year ago. I've tweaked the contrast, etc., on the screen and it's a little better, but still not very good.

So, is it a new graphics card for the computer, or a new monitor? I'm afraid that if I buy a new monitor, it'll be the same, dull and flat.

If a new graphics card is required, which would be a good thing, and I need a new power supply?

My son loves to make games, one that is good for the games would be better.

    Thanks in advance!

I did experiment a bit and partially answered my own question. I removed the monitor in question (HP V242h) and hooked it to another computer. What a world of difference! So I don't think it's the monitor, but the graphics card.

If a modified question: what would be a good graphics card for my HP Envy Office 750-114? One that enhances the display and provides the best game? Also, would need a new power supply?

    Thanks again in advance!

  • Need new and better graphics card for my Satellite L30-10 W

    Hello

I have ATI radeon x 200 m and I'm looking for good drivers for it.
    I m using windows Vista.
I have on my drive of the graphics drivers installed but don't worry all is well and that's why my computer is running very slowly.
Maybe someone has a similar problem like me.

    Hi Luk

    > Maybe someone has a similar problem like me
Why you write about problems is not a problem it s a fact

Believe me the new graphics card driver will not change anything!
I had a Vista installed on the L30 and the laptop was very slow.

I decided to install and use the XP again
Vista needs much more portable recources like the previous Microsoft OS s. That's why the L30 runs slower.

In my view, we should use the Vista on computers that support a graphics card with a 256 MB own or more, faster CPU and min. 2GB of memory.

    Hello

IM using a hp p6140 5.5 years in
It comes with a processor Core 2 duo e 7400 2.8ghz, 3 GB of ram ddr2, a ms 7525 Boston motherboard hard drive 7200 RPM, a geforce 210 that was used during the last years of 2.5 and a power supply 250W which ive already upgraded to a corsair vs450w
now, I want to upgrade my gpu gtx series and ive narrowed it down on the

MSI NVIDIA N750-2GD5/OC 2 GB GDDR5 graphics card

.. IM aware that bottleneck issues could be there... I want to ask is if my system supports the card properly...

the version of the BIOS - Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG

a pci express x 16 slot is present and the card is 5.7 inches and it must adapt...

(the main problems I see people complain are regarding bios and incompatibility)... so... can I use this card?

    Hey, you're welcome!

No, if it is not broken, do not fix.  If everything works fine, just keep it in game.  If you start to have problems, such as the computer freezing or startup strangely, you may need to change the power supply.

Good game to a former player.

  • Need a graphics card to connect two monitors.

Is AMD CrossfireX and Nvidia SLI is the only way to connect two VGA?

    Original title: graphics card...

It is not no need SLI or XFire to connect two monitors. SLI and XFire are mainly to
improve performance by connecting the two cards together.
SLI, to have the same model of card when you use Nvidia IE - two GTX560ti, but apparently, you can use different templates with XFire as long as they use the same gpu (it's because they sometimes "re-brand" a gpu a series on a new map in the following series).

You can connect two monitors to a card and run games on two monitors, but the seam in the
Middle is a problem, so it is really best to go three monitors or a larger screen.
You can also run a game on one monitor and have something to open on the other.
This can also be done with two cards of different model that are not related (Nvidia or ATI).
or your integrated graphics, if you and a single graphics card.
You can also use both outputs of an integrated graphics card to perform the duties of Office Basic
    two monitors.

To use a combination of graphics card integrated on my machine, I have to set the graphic option and dedicated North Bridge in the BIOS to "Onboard" or the integrated graphics card will not work.
Also, when you use a single monitor I have to choose one or the other in the BIOS as only won't work
at the same time when you use a single monitor.  It may be different on your system.

There are different ways to use two monitors and the Setup is different between Nvidia and ATI.
I've only played with Nvidia, ATI and Intel HD4000 options, so cannot really elaborate on
    the installation options.
It is probably better to play with the settings of your cards some time control panel to
get an idea of what is what and try again forum of the mfg graphics card for more details.

  • New drivers of graphics card for Satellite P200

Because Toshiba is not to update the graphic card drivers, I was wondering if anyone has tried using DH mobility modder found in [http://www.driverheaven.net/]

I have the Satellite P200 x 16 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 and thank you

I P200D with same graphics card and I always use Toshiba driver. I'm not focused on the game and for my favorite games like COD2, COD4, Max Payne 2, NFS Most wanted and El Matador is OK. the graphic performance is good and I didn't noticed any problem.

Update driver graphic card just because of games?

By the way: for mobile computing, it is always recommended to use s manufacturer drivers because these drivers are adapted to each model of mobile phone, and they also have an important function to protect the material and avoid overheating. With the help of a few other drivers graphics card can be forced to run on the upper limit. According to me, you know what can be the result of this.

If you will have no problem after upgrading graphics card please do it let me know.

  • New number of graphics card

    Hello

I recently bought an Asus 7750 V2 for my desktop HP-P7-1414. I installed it in the PCI express slot without any major problems. Turn on the computer and there are 6 beeps and moniter says no signal found (yes I have the DVI cable plug the graphics card). I took out the graphics card and put back firmly. Same thing. I took and I went back to my APU and it works fine. I was told it could be not enough power so I bought a coolermaster extreme 525 watts PSU 2. He hung up and put in the graphics card, and now there is no beeps, the powers of the computer on the light blue on the front of the case as it is supposed to do but the moniter says no signal found. I tried 2 different cables DVI that work, but the same thing again. My OS is windows 8 64-bit. In addition, should I uninstall my previous drivers and install the new first before putting in the map?

    Thank you

    Dave

YES, remove the new card... use the graphics card built-in... start the computer... get into the BIOS... ACTIVATE 'Secure Boot' and 'Legacy Support'... store these settings... turn off computer... Reinsert new graphics card... start the computer... LIFE SHOULD BE GOOD

    Please send Bravo

  • Huge performance impact after installing a new 760 GTX graphics card

With my motherboard Foxconn Renaissance x 56, I get a variety of RAM that is usable, but not wire after installing my new GTX 760.

When I run the Windows system it stutters and takes up to 15 minutes to start, there is a problem with some of the RAM not being usable and just sitting there while Windows doesn't know what to do with it.

However, when I run in Ubuntu, even without a graphics driver, the speed is incredibly fast.

The solution only hacky, I could find is to truncate the memory by the top of the first address, in my case, it is exactly 6 GB (0 x 26666666) using "bcdedit/set memory truncated 0 x 26666666", and it works well. But I'm unable to benefit from the additional RAM on the graphics card.

It's frustrating because my motherboard supports up to 24 GB of RAM, and the problem exists only in Windows and not Linux.

If anyone is interested in this problem, there is a fix. A representative of Foxconn sent Ms. some secret BIOS that is not available on the site.
