  • GarageBand 10.1.0 - cannot open files of the old version of Garageband in the new version - they are empty after the backup with the updated app!

    I use a MacBook Pro with OS X El Capitan. I just download GarageBand 10.1.0. When I try to open my existing GarageBand files in either a double click or single click and choosing 'open', I gives me only the possibility to 'save' the file. When I save the file, it appears in the list of files with a new icon, but when I open it, it is empty, rather than containing the recording I made and saved on my previous version of GarageBand.

    I'm afraid to keep trying to open and save it back etc., in which case it's clear files.

    Just a quick update on this issue. About two weeks today, I downloaded the ISO image on Aspera site of the replicators and they told me that the same issues exist on this ISO despite the offset of the breaking of the layer to a chapter point using IMGburn. However, they then asked that I present a picture of the RFP. After downloading the image of the RFP, they confirmed that the image of the RFP was good and went ahead with production. So, it seems that the image of the RFP fixed everything despite being created in the same project that has created a problematic DVD image.

    My conclusion in this regard is that ENCORE CS5 can create a double layer image RFP for replication despite the layer break point. I want to suugest that there is no need to consider the powerful use of PGCedit and IMGburn for this reason, but exposure to these products to the point my understanding of creating DVDs in his together.
