Cannot access the administrator files

I've just created a new user account and gave him administrator privileges. After the reboot, Windows XP Professional does not allow me to connect on the former administrator account. I can't log into the new account, I created with administrator privileges. It would be fine, except that I can't access the files that I created on this account. How can I recover these files? I don't see using Windows Explorer.

HI Mel.Ingalls,

    Hello

In the sample OBIEE, you have a variable called BI_EE_HOME with this path

To change this, open your SPR (online mode) and then change repository variable BI_EE_HOME

We call this variable in your connection pool (you can change this path directly on the connection pool too)

  • custom palette with tabs to swf Flex cannot access the local file system

OK, with Flash Player 10, we can load and save local files from a flex web application, then why can't I in the bridge, when I load the SWF in a palette with bridge tabs, load and save functions no longer work.

Is it because I'm loading as a ScriptUI called range of flash, instead of a palette of HTML?

I tried the overall Flash Player security in order to allow the authorization of my swf and created a .cfg, but nothing seems to work.

    Help, please.

    Thank you, Todd

I don't know exactly how your Panel is a failure. I have attached three examples of Flex projects that include the JavaScripts and Flash panels for bridge. These all worked for me in Bridge CS4.

To access the local, I used FileRefrence.save () for these tests - note that this method is file system was added in Flash Player 10, and so this will not work in Bridge CS3, which uses the Flash Player 9 when you use a widget Flash Player in ScriptUI. In addition, to compile the example I had to modify the Flex builder projects require Flash Player 10 by changing the settings on the page 'Flex compiler' project in Flex Builder settings.

If you use another method to access the system files that works with Flash Player 9, please let me know what it is and I can test it.

Among sovereign wealth funds also gain access to the network. To activate SWF access to the network, I had to add a file of global security settings. Information on creating these files are available here:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player_10_security.PDF

But, for example, on my mac, I put all these projects in a "BridgeFlashPanels" folder on my desktop. Next, I created the BridgeFlashPanels.cfg file in/Library/Application Support / Macromedia / FlashPlayerTrust. The .cfg file had a line: the path to the folder on my desktop.

    A description of the panels:

PanelWithNetworkAccess - this Panel has a 'Test' button, when clicked, loads http://www.adobe.com and place it in the text box (note, it will be just the raw HTML, does not make the page).

PanelWithFileSystemAccess - for Flash Player 10 only, this Panel has a Test button and a text field. When you click the Test button, it writes the contents of the text box in the BridgeTest.txt file, unless you choose another file.

PanelWithNetworkAndFileSystemAccess - for Flash Player 10 only, this Panel has a text field and two buttons: "Load Test" and "Test to save." The load test loads http://www.adobe.com in the text field and save him testing saves the content of the text field to BridgeTest.txt.

To try signs, navigate the bin-debug for each project files with Bridge, the .swfs and .jsx files are there. Double-click the thumbnail for the .jsx and bridge must run the script and add the sign indicating the SWF file.

  • CANNOT ACCESS THE ADMINISTRATOR PROFILE MY OFFICE BECAUSE I FORGOT MY USERNAME/PASSWORD TO ACCESS OR MAKE CHANGES. IT COMES TO MY LAPTOP.

I'M ONLY in MEASURE of ACCESS to SYSTEMS / PC USER ACCOUNT, I NEED TO GET IN the ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS

If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

Then, go to the user accounts applet in Control Panel and set passwords that you remember and other changes. WRITE THE PASSWORDS DOWN AND PUT THEM SOMEWHERE YOU WON'T LOSE THEM. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Cannot access the Word file that is saved to the location of the temporary file.

Original title: can see a downloaded Word attachment file in the temporary internet files by mistake, but can not access

When I open IE5 content in the temporary internet files in windows XP Explorer I can't see the contents of its subfolders.   I'm looking for a downloaded Word fixation, I've updated and instead save it in the right folder I accidentally he saved in a folder named: 8KOJUWFP which seems to sit in the content. TRUST that I do not see 8KOJUWFP in content IEF.  I know that the file is located in 8KOJUWFP here because when I try to download the word original attachment again once I could see my new file there as I changed the name and saved it, but now I can see more.

Forgive me for the speaker, but you will not find this variable on a XP machine:

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp

In addition, I don't see what reset security settings (thus losing all customizations) has to do with the problem that was presented that occurs when you open a document that is received by e-mail that opens in the folder temporary Internet files ContentIE5 and then it is saved to this place by mistake.  Been there, done that, so I know the feeling when you find out what has happened.

What I would say is go to Start - Search and select all files and folders.  And then under all or part of the name of the file: type 8KOJUWFP , and then click more advanced Options - put a check mark next to search system folders, search for files and hidden folders and subfolders to search then click on the Search button and allow the search to run.

It should find this file in the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent (where xxxxx is your user name) and pointing to this place:

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\8KOJUWFP (where xxxxx is your user name).

Double-click the 8KOJUWFP file to open it.  You may see a large number of files are listed with different names.  I find the best way to locate a file is to do the following:

Right-click in any empty space on the top bar (where you see headers of column as 'name', 'size', etc. and from the right click menu select "Type" and "Date of creation" so that they have a checkmark beside them and these columns now.

Now, double-click the topic 'Category' to sort the results by "file type" in alphabetical order.  Scroll down the page until you get "Microsoft Word document" and see if you can spot your document it.  If so, right-click on it and select 'Open with' and 'Microsoft Office Word.  If you can open the document, then click on "Save as" and save it to My Documents instead.

  • Microsoft Outlook - can't remove items, can't send attachments, Hung Up by e-mail in the Outbox, cannot access the ScanPST file

The problem started when I tried to send photos from Outlook.  Emails remain in my Outbox.  I can't tell if they have been sent, I can't move or delete.

I can't delete emails from my in, out or send files.

I get a message advising me to access the Outlook repair tool: Scanpst.  When if find the tool, I was informed that it is in use by another program, while all other programs are closed.

I followed the advice to update the drivers - no change.

I can't find the scan function in my Norton Utilities in order to turn it off.  Another option, they told me to try.

    I use Windows Vista.

I would like to advice from someone can provide for me to have normal features of my Outlook once more.

    Thank you.

So if I understand correctly when you double-click scanpst.exe enforcement does not charge and when you get the error that it is in use by another application?  Or is this error happen when you try to open your pst with the analysis tool?

  • Cannot access the system files with permissions to access EFS and certificate are set correctly.

I am running EFS on a secondary internal hard drive on my computer Vista Enterprise SP1.  I have been using EFS for a few months with no problems.  Recently, when you try to access a number of files, I started getting access denied errors.  I'm still under the same certificate with same file permissions that I was when I originally encrypted the files.  Curiously, I can move, delete and rename files without problem, but I can not access, copy, or decrypt.  I tried reseting the file permissions, nothing done.  An excerpt from the command line:

The only thought I have is that maybe the metadata associated with the EFS file is damaged?  I'm open to any new idea to access my files.  Thank you in advance.

Just an update - I have reset my mac wide permissions at one point because I had my mac restart in gray screen, and then the installer worked. I don't know if that had nothing to do with this, but im guessing it CAN be because the restricted permissions were part of the Adobe error message.

  • I have Windows 7 and cannot access the administrator account

I am unable to enter my administrator account because I accidentally put the wrong password in place.  I don't remember to save my life.  Unfortunately, I do not have a disk or anything else as a backup so I don't know what my other options would be.

I really, really need to access my photos and files from the admin account.  Is it possible that I can recover?  Help, please!

We will put your computing experience on a more solid basis as follows:

    • A Windows repair CD is absolutely essential if you decide to do maintenance on your own PC. It takes only three minutes to burn a via the control panel / backup and restore. Given that you have never created one before, you now have these options:
      -Burn it on another computer.
      -Borrow one from a friend.
      -Buy one here: http://systemdiscs.com/
    • Start dieting solid backup on an external device. With your valuable photos right on your PC takes a lot of unnecessary risks.
    • Create, test, and document an alternative admin account, as you have a spare House key. It takes less than a minute.

When you have your CD to repair Windows, then you can solve your current problem as follows:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
