  Looks like you need convert the background into a smart object layer. You can right-click on the layer in the layer panel and choose Convert to smart object, or you can go to the main menu and on the Filter tab, select convert to smart object.

• New large Format printing, need help with 450 c

  Hiya, people. I'm SO happy to have met this forum. I need some serious advice with a purchase of Craigslist lightning. This morning, I picked up a DesignJet 450 c with legs/stand and a JetDirect 300 x print server. I did a quick Google search to see if the printer would work with my Macbook and the answer * seems * Yes, it will, using Gutenprint. I could not test the unit out before I forked over the money, but I have fire and managed to load paper, scroll the lightshow market, etc. Worst case, I can sell it on Craigslist.

  I've got it now houses, and I really have no idea how to do it get up and running. It is connected, turned on and it will print configuration pages (so-more in a minute), but something is not quite right and I need help, whether it is user error, bad consumables or a defective unit.

  When I load a sheet of paper and run the black print cartridge alignment routine, I get a sheet printed in alone cyan. When I run the color cartridge alignment routine, I get a printed sheet only in cyan. In fact, when I'll be whatever it is, it is printed in alone cyan. Good news is, the machine seems to be functional. bad news is, it doesn't seem to work correctly immediately.

  I removed all ink cartridges, shaken a little and reinstalled, make the flashing light "Ready" each time. That has really improved the quality of printing cyan, but they are still only cyan. I ordered the new cartridges, but in the meantime, is there anything else I should try? I have a series of questions, but I need to get the machine printing test pages correctly, I think.

  What is the address of the computer? It should be in the same frame. If this is not the same then the direct stream must be reset so that it can find an ip address that corresponds to your network. Outermost Jet directs reset if you disconect the power and then hold the test button and connect the power supply to. For a few seconds, then release. Wait about 1 minute and then press the test button to get the config page which should now show a new ip address. Type that ip address in your web browser, and it can have a web page where you can refine the settings to make the permanent address.

  I received a web banner from one of our suppliers that I need to integrate into our website.  I have it in the web page, but do not know how to configure an action of "onclick".  In my reading I cannot find a setting to specify the action to take if someone clicks on the banner.  Good that now it opens a new window with an error message saying that it cannot find ' / undefined.  How to set the URL?  The salesman who gave us the marketing content was of no help.

• New Nikon D810 owner needs help with LR RAW

  I have CC and LR 64-bit 5.5, all updates are current.  Cannot open/view RAW images from my new Nikon D810.  Have tried different settings - lossless compressed, compressed, uncompressed behind doors closed and nothing works.  What should I do?  Also, although I have every image in JPEG and RAW, when I go to the page of transfer LR it shows me the non-visible RAW image is available.  I; m confused.  It didn't happen with my Nikon d7100.  Help?  Thank you!

  I have two areas named num1 and num2 and box input text and dynamic text named Total_txt.

  If you look at the tutorial, I think you will see that you are using "txt" where "text" is needed.  'text' is a property of a textfield, identify the text that contains the textfield object.  I don't know if you're doing something where the num1 object contains another object named txt, but I think that my first sentence catches the problem.

• BlackBerry smartphones new Torch 9800 user - need help with the Message 'Conversation' feature

  I just spent to an older Blackberry Curve to the torch. I'm used to standard text "and will answer' or 'create a new SMS' but T-9800 'Conversation' feature SMS is maddening - all SMS communications with a contact are transferred in a single conversation, regardless of the date or content. I am also unable to send separate replies to individual SMS - just one more in the conversation messages.

  When I checked the text Message Options, the option to display only that I could find was for the 'Bubble' or 'Line'. I also was not able to find all the features that allow the user to put an end to a conversation with a contact or start a new one.

  If someone has encountered this? If so, is there an option or feature I'm on just to correct these problems? And of course, how?

  Consulted several other forums and just had a face to face with Best Buy rep - looks like the term/phrase I was looking for was "SMS threading"... and there is currently no option on the current operating system of torch for clear thread of SMS functionality.

  Well - it is what it is. I'll have to take consolation that, apparently, I'm not the only one who had a problem with the thread SMS functionality, and a possible fix might be made available in the next software update.

  3. the correct answer
  4. wrong answer with link to start again.

  I would like to add several quiz that I figure out on my own, but I want to add a kind of counter, which, at the end of the quiz, will give a percentage or a count for example. 7/10 - 70% congratulations! or something like that.

  Create an action layer that extends through all your pages and set an outcome variable...

  When you arrive at the end or somewhere else, you have a textfield and you use the value of note in there somehow...

• New to LiveCycle.  Need help with drop-down lists.

  I just started playing with LiveCycle with PDF Forms.  One thing that I wonder if it is possible to do the link of the selections available in the drop-down lists.  For example, on a form with one question on this subject, I have 5 possible answers as the "ranking of your favorite in the order of most loved at least liked fruits".  Then I have a series of 5 drop down list with the first box containing boxes "Apple, pear, fishing, strawberry, grapes.  Is it possible to have someone to make a selection in the first box, their fruit in the list, and then the second box would have four options to choose?  Say if apple was their favorite, only, pear, fishing, strawberry and grape would be selection?  I tried to find an answer, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about the capabilities of LiveCycle, and/or how to work with scripts (I think that's what I see people using).  If someone could take the time to try to push myself through this, I would appreciate it, of course.

  Here's a form to date. I had to get help from a programmer friend, so it is a code evolved. I used a script object to reduce the volume of code.

• New Labview user. Need help with PDM

  I'm reading the data of 30 thermocouples, he discovered in real time on my interface and keep it for further analysis. Sales guy suggested I use TDMS it display the information in the same way if I had to do a right click on a wave form, then click 'export Excel' (30 columns representing each thermocouples and a column for the moment). The test would go for an hour or two, and each channel could save data to one sample per second. I tried to make this parameter adjustable on the interface as well as adding a clock that could be adjusted to set the duration of the tests, but too late for me because I've only been using labview for a week or two.

  I have a code that worked fine, until what I put in what I thought was acceptable code to store a PDM. Now, the code will run, but seems as if no data is read. Is there an easier way to accompish this task or I am just on something very simple? Thanks for the help!

  I took the liberty of cleaning of your VI some.  You had a lot on your front too.  He was also thrown everywhere.  Group together things that are similar, so you can easily find what you are looking for.  You have also had a lot of indicators it the only reason for them is debugging.  This is what the probes are for.  I also condensed your block diagram.

  Here is the solution for 10.7 Lion: go to system-> Language Preferences & uncheck the text-> go to the first tab-> language-> tap on edit-> Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and other languages you do not use.

I know how to do a decent amount of things but I'm pretty new to Livecycle and trying to change one of our PDF files so that if a certain field has a number starting with number 6 a certain button will become visible. I already have a set of code which is to control the visibility of this button, but I wanted to add this clause. Can someone help me to do this?

  you don't need to make such a work autour, everything you did not notice, this is NumericField isn't a string is always a numeric (number)

  If you can use substring on a whole or decimal number... unless it's a chain... then use the toString() after the .rawValue like this

  ContractInfo.AgreementDetails.Org. rawValue.toString (). Substring (0.1)! = « 6 »

  It should work.
