• CS5 trial install error - insert the disc?

  I have successfully downloaded a Photoshop CS5 trial, but when trying to install the progress bar stops at 0% and I get a message that reads "Please insert photoshop cs5 disk to continue. Obviously I don't have the disk, because it is a downloadable trial. When I cancel the installation, I get a long list of error codes that starts like this:

  I stumbled on one or two other people who have this problem, but especially windows machines, so I failed to find an answer to this problem.  a few explanations I've found are too technical for me to understand, I'm not a computer genius. One thing I noticed is that sharing options and permissions in the menu 'get info' install folder are grayed out and cannot be changed. By clicking on the padlock does not allow me to make changes as usual. Access to my user (admin) privileges are read, write, and read only for 'personal' and 'everyone '.   I think that this happens if there is more than a mounted Installer. Have you tried to restart your entire system, reassembly of the installer, and then try to reinstall?
