When I changed my PC switched off last night, my new tab Firefox page had twelve miniatures, four per line in three columns. When I turned on my PC today, I opened a new tab page and there were only eight vignettes showing, four per line, but only two lines. I haven't changed my setting in my sleep, so why has the layout has changed and how can I go back to the way it was? Change the zoom on the new page of tabs, to 80%, allows me to display 15 miniatures (I don't really want to fifteen just my twelve original) but only on that specific page, if I open a new fresh tab page is back to the display of thumbnails only eight again.

Hi, as you know you can change the number of tiles on the new tab in the zoom Page forward or back.

You also said keep the same zoom setting when a new tab is clicked: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.preload and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

It is also possible about: config to change the maximum number of tiles, scrolling to the browser.newtabpage.columns (or Rows), then right-click > modify to set a new number of 'value '.

As an alternative, you might like to try the add-on new tab tools.

Hi - I hope someone can help me with this:

I have synced my Bold 9700 with my office yesterday and the Office Manager asked that I have to perform a software upgrade for the device.

When my BB 9700 had fully charged this process, there was a completely different interface and a lot of my settings were changed. I did not have enough time to examine in detail all the changes, but the most annoying is the loss of my 'classic' ringtone I went into the menu for ringtones, which seems to have lost weight considerably from the previous version. The new series of rings are not to my taste and there is nothing like ringing of old boy available. Rings of the closest only once and the volume is not enough - I already missed several calls as a result.

I'm with O2 through the Carphone Warehouse, which the customer could not attend yesterday.

Grateful for any advice on how I can get my ringtone back - and also curious to know why the BB the new ring tones are good enough for this new version. They are declassified in my opinion.

How to keep the new predefined form to change all other brushes?

Create new brush presets used to work perfectly for me. (Mac OS 10.9.5, Photoshop 6).
But today, I used a brush existing as a base, he adds a texture set recently and adjusted the tip. Then, I recorded the parameters, in the brush presets Panel, giving it a new name.

problem with upgrade to LR4 (change mode tools develop)

Hello - I just upgraded LR3 to LR4 on my Windows 7 HP laptop using a CD from B & H Photo. The installation process went through without errors. However, now in develop mode, the editing tools (right of the screen) are always fill LR 3 light - for example, the recovery, and blacks are in the title of the exhibition. I rebooted the computer to see if that would help - no change.
I guess I could uninstall LR and then reinstall LR3 and the LR4 upgrade, but it's a lot of work and it cannot solve the problem.
Any suggestions to solve this?

In the develop module - check the Version of process in the camera - 2012 (current) change section of Calibration.

ALT-click is just a shortcut to do the same thing, but without having to respond to a command prompt (to develop the module when an exclamation icon appears, showing an older version of process, such as 2003 or 2010. PV stands for 'Version Process'.

2012 is the new version of process invented for Lr4 with improved controls and picture quality...

DECODE is changing the explain plan
I have a statement with a decoding function in the where clause like this:

When I have a package-1 as parameter for cropgroup the filter would result by ' AND '-1' = '-1', and the statement is executed in less than 2 seconds.»»» When I leave this where clause it takes almost 18 seconds. The result is the same so I don't understand why the explain plan command is so different and why not use index scans in the statement without decoding.

I would interpret the results displayed differently.

Execution which took 17 s according to the 241 266 coherent block played tkprof output gets but in order to do so he read 227 649 the disk blocks. Note that most of the table addressed by this query blocks were read through scanning of complete table that can take advantage of multiple blocks readings, for example if you unset the db_file_multiblock_read_count 10.2 (recommended) it usually try to read 1 MB with a read request, which are 128 blocks in case of standard block size 8 k. Due to several reasons not always the full size can be requested with each read request, lets say about 200 000 blocks could have been read by about 2,000 blocks multiple readings. Each read request would turn into a physical read, could you get an estimate approximate 25 MS per read times 2,000 applications-online 50 seconds (your system is running obviously better that the average assumed by ost g 10 base optimizer without collected statistics system workload, can be that some additional file caching system is involved).

On the other hand, the execution plan that finished within 2 seconds completed 221 420 coherent block gets but did No physical reads at all. Note that most of the table blocks should be processed using one-piece random searches (ACCESS BY ROWID of the TABLE), according to the grouping of the indices factor, it could have been as many blocks that the lines have been returned to the range index scans. So you could have done with lets say more than 60,000 randomly accessed table blocks => until 60 000 monobloc required reading. So in the worst case, this may take 60 000 requests time 10ms by read-online 600 seconds, even if in reality at least some of the blocks will be stored in the buffer cache, so it should be less.

It would be interesting to know how these two declarations with a cold buffer cache, so that both had to physical reads. I suppose the first is actually faster. Of course, if the second corresponds more to your typical situation that most of the blocks is in the buffer anyway, then it could be faster, because the blocks read by random access are more likely to stay in memory blocks read by complete sweep of the table, but in a true perspective of I/O the first is expected to be higher.

Moreover, the change in the plan is probably caused by the fact that the additional predicate (DECODING) lowers the cardinality of the table of SDG_USER conduct so that LOOP IMBRIQUEE approach seems to be cheaper to the optimizer that the hash join/full scan table approach. Apparently the estimate is way off (by two orders of magnitude, in fact 100 instead of 1), then the plan is not really cheap, because it seems like the optimizer.

By the way: two actual execution plans displayed in the output from tkprof are actually different from the displayed output of EXPLAIN the PLAN, so the statement has executed a little differently provided the facility to EXPLAIN the PLAN.

Your PLAN_TABLE is old, since you are on 10g you should drop any PLAN_TABLEs that are in non - SYS diagrams, since 10 g already provides a global temporary Table as part of the default dictionary (SYS. Plan_table$ presentations via public synonym PLAN_TABLE).

I upgraded to el capitan today and I lost all my photos and videos

When I updated today to el capitan, I lost all my videos and photos, I have improved on the hoof so to speak because I was helping a friend unlock their iPad disabled (as I did) but I shot myself in the foot in iPhoto on the left side, I had file on folder of ruby birthdays, Christmas, marriage of my daughter throughout her life so far and my grandson I'm gutted, I've been on the forums today but all I got are more recent who were on iCloud about 100 it is everything.

I can't do with time machine, I can't do it on the other library etc etc please can someone help me tia

El Capitan provides a new application called, Photos, which you can import them into your iPhoto library. iPhoto will not work in El Capitan, unless you are able to update the version you have now:

Go to the App Store and check out the shopping list. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1 if she is there, then drag your existing iPhoto application (not the library, just the app) in the trash

iPhoto, the application and the iPhoto library are two different parts of the iPhoto program. So, reinstall the application should not affect the library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
