• You are looking for a tool for mixed content "sniffing" HTTPS/HTTP

  I hope someone here can help me out. I'm looking for a tool/addon that can report exactly what on the page will raise an error of mixed content. The browser will tell me something on the page is not sure, but it doesn't tell me where or which is not secure, so I can fix it.

  Here is my recent example of this problem.
  I had a problem with a HTTPS page with one doubleclick on it tracking pixel. It was an iframed of pixel on the tracking of the standard page and iframed page was HTTPS without any problem of cert. It turned out that the current iframed page has a javascript call which was HTTP and this triggers the error of mixed content.

  Unfortunately it took me almost two days to understand iframed pages was the no-ssl, not anything on the site.

  If someone here could help me find a tool or point to a browser feature that I don't know who could help sniff me these fastest mixed content error would make you my life so much easier.

  You can glean some more information the Console browser Firefox (Ctrl + Shift + j). Mixed content blocks generate a log entry in the Security category. If you mix in the filter area in the upper right of the console, which should help down on the message. (Example screenshot attached.)

  Now... you still need to understand what generates the request, but I hope it helps.

• Strange looking for opacity rectangle box

  Update of X to DC and have a 'problem' with an annotation. After you have created a rectangle and applying opacity, things look strange to me. Is it as it was designed, or it could also be a hardware problem. (hoping for the latter). Also, this occurs not only on an image (eps), but also on the text. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2015.007.20033. Thanks for any advice on this.
  

  Wow! It's crazy! I was able to reproduce the problem. I suspect that this is not how it should work.

  I was able to reproduce the problem in Acrobat, but then I also tried to reproduce the effect in InDesign, using various blend modes. While I'm sure it's a question of merging, I wasn't able to understand math to determine what type of blend mode is at the origin of the problem. And why the hell is he a blending mode at first?

  Just out of curiosity, I turned on the release preview to see the hat that was going on behind the scenes. And it's completely nonsense!

  

  Once again, out of curiosity, I crushed comments (using a flattening script), and here's what I got. It now looks exactly as it should!

  

  I use transparent drawing semi annotations for about six years (Document Geek: derivative of a PDF file that contains no police), and this is the first time I saw tis problem. But I'm also didn't have Acrobat DC again, largely due to how well it handles comments. You can read about it here. Document of Geek: why I run four different Versions of Acrobat. While I find it interesting that Adobe has finally built a blending mode in the drawing markup tools, I suspect that it was an accident. However, if they added a user interface and predictability to it, that it would actually make sense (like many other ideas I did here: Document Geek: my ideas for how InDesign and Acrobat can be improved (ideas Kickstarter). )

  You are the only person (besides me) that I've ever known to use transparency in drawing annotations. There are so few of us, perhaps, Adobe is not yet aware of this problem. I would say a bug here report: adobe.ly/BugReport

  So if it is imperative to use the transparent drawing semi annotations, I recommend from Acrobat XI. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. For your sake, I wish it was a hardware problem.

  my company has more than 200 HP printers. We have win xp and win 7 64 and 32 bits.

  I like to create a script for ease of installation. I don't mind to connect on the client computer to run the script (I mean the script is run remotely)

  I looked in the printer windows 7 admin scripts, but it's too tidious. Is there anything else I can use to install the printer with a script driver batch or what is easier, then the windows software adding printer?

• Total newbie looking for help with a simple script

  By releasing the button 1 the chronology goes to the framework 5 and poster image 5. Button 2 = 10 frame and key 3 = frame 15. It works very well in author mode, but when I publish (flash 7) it does nothing, IE it has just on frame 1

• Looking for a free tool allowing clients to easily update a text box on their Web site.

  I just finished a website for a client, and I am looking for a free tool (something similar to Wordpress) which would leave my client to easily change the text on the site.  I don't want to have full access to the code on the site, just include a text box that they can make changes every time that the envy.  I'd rather have something that was transparency it so the text would look just like the rest of the site, but is not a must.

  FB 5 was recently released... recently enough that there is no book for her. I'm not sure that the 4.1 (above) book sales will be justified it being ever a book on 5.

  I know that the $85 price tag may seem a bit steep for the book of FB 4.1... but this is a good book and is one of the few (if- not - only) complete book on a relatively recent version of FB.

  We all know and understand what talking about travel buyers.  Various research estimated that up to 90% of the search is taking place for most online and before a prospect decides to talk to a sales representative.  A session of the CEB Dreamforce I attended to referenced that the average prospect is looking for 10 different sources of information guide their decision to buy and the seller's Web site is just a trust least. (I'm paraphrasing from memory, so don't be too hard on me if something is disabled) It would be useful to know if any of you use tools that help to discover some of these other websites which is underway in addition to our own.  Would love to know what works.  Thank you!

  Hi Joseph, you will have problems on this one.  You used to be able to make a number of cough... cough... not strictly beyond the means of the Council.

  In the old days, you can use techniques such as SpyJAX, etc. for this - but they don't work anymore

  I had a friend that I had used to work with who has worked on a way to push this information automatically in an another marketing automation platform (although you could have done in Eloqua) and adds it to their lead, scoring model.

  While on the surface it looked like a really cool idea actually it didn't really prove anything - I digress...

  As you quoted the Dreamforce event you attended at the prospect of average search 10 different sources, I think I see what you're trying to identify, you want to know which party 3 different sites of your potential customers are searching on and then find a way to help guide a favorable outcome regarding your product through their research.

  First off you should check out some of these Tools to listen to social media.  Here those are all free, but you get others who will analyze linkedin, forums, etc.  Check out mentions of your competitors brand names and products too.

  Now you have a list of the various sources that are using your competitors, you now have your target.

  You now have your ammo.  You must develop a program of customer awareness.  Which is exploit your product advocates, these are current customers, who are very credible, extremely knowledgeable and love your product for its features.  There are a number of tools out there, that you can use for this.  One of the guys eloqua former albums, Mark organ, developed a software that will help you do just that.  Its platform is called influitive.  I have been an advocate of product before on this platform and believe me, it's the company.  I would probably spend at least one hour per week responding to the challenges posted for me.

  For example the company in question had a few targets in the groups they knew prospects would ask "which platform is better, X or Y?  I would join this group, they would give me a few points and then they would issue me any time challenges that this type of issue has come.  Because I had very deep knowledge on both platforms, I could give an answer that is hinged at the question of the person.  I was a 3rd party source, not a salesman saying "I work for company X and my product is the best, call me my details are...» ", this meant that I had a much greater impact in my opinion.

  Enter the power of Eloqua.  You get your defenders of a link to your Web site and give them their own unique query string.  All you need to do is pull a report from query string at the end of the month and voila, you not only what you were originally looking for, but your own clientele that contribute to your marketing effort.

  You can open a file by using a script, but you cannot specify the password file - open for her, if that's what you mean.
