  Search the registry to see if this key was created. Sometimes, the installation program does not have permission to this key.

  (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

  When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

  There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

  (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

  (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

  (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

  (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

  The most recent version of Adobe - Lightroom, ACR, Photoshop applications, open any valid DNG.

  Earlier versions will be opened DNG specification existence at the time. In other words, an older version of Lightroom would not be able to open a DNG created using the latest DNG specification. (The DNG specification has gone through three major revisions - 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3)
