  New module syntax is not yet supported in emailing campaigns. It works when you preview or send email test because these two use us the same web pages, while rendering engine for the mass of emails we use a different engine which has not been updated yet (which is one of the reasons why the new module syntax is still in beta and not included by default in the product).

  I need to create a newsletter template and save it in HTML format that will be sent using one of the host of the standard e-mail programs. Muse can be used for this? I tried setting up in InDesign and exporting as HTML, but the result was a mess. Thank you!

• Newsletter template will not save

  I created a new model and went into the admin in the partner portal, which I did several times but this time it's not going to save the html online.

  All support told me is that we can't have the css or JS in the code. This isn't. I put the code with an aligner tool to ensure its good he is. I manually entered the code in the newsletter in the admin checked with the new editior and works fine all ICE works as expected.

  The model is sensitive but I have also removed the media queries and still did not work. Any ideas.

  Hi, I have been informed that the Muse is a simple tool for creating electronic newsletters/mailouts (one the Mailchimp, etc.) ... someone had such an experience?

  How to make this work?

  If you do a newsletter template that is generic and not for a specific customer in your partner portal (it is different from what makes a site), as I said, you cannot have relative path URLS.

  You can't just say/folder/image - images would load never at peoples in boxes, it do not exist. You need an absolute URL.
  IF you do not provide an and add it to your BC Partner Portal will go "OK, what I'll do...". Absolute path to... Partner site.

  So they will work, BUT if you have the images on another site or source, OR if you makes for a specific customer, and then put absolute URL in and host the images to the right place.

  Here are the emails, not Web sites must be treated differently.

  Then I executed the script but it worked only in part to replace the placeholder image but not the text.

  Is there an error in this script, or maybe I did something wrong?

  No insertion point in the document.

  The insertion point is not in the body of the text (in an text box as example)

  The script must create a new section in the document, place the insertion point in the body of the text

  I'm new to Pages v.5. I created a newsletter of 14 pages, using a model to start with, of parts ordered with pictures and banners etc taken days.

  Now I just got a new commission, 2 page, I want to insert in the form of pages 6/7. Since preview style Exchange seems impossible, I tried to do it by creating a new page, by copying and pasting then including first try create a break at the end of page 5.

  Please don't tell me that I have to start over, or do it in a way that will involve tweaking the formatting on other pages - once more.

  BTW, a newsletter template doesn't have to be such that moving pages around is easy?

  Why you use Pages 5.1.

  5 pages is buggy and does not have a very long list of features, at least the last 5.6.1 is slightly less featureless. Including being able to move pages.

  Also if you went from Pages ' 09 I highly recommend that you continue to use it. Particularly in a bulletin which requires Textbox linking and in front of the pages, the two missing in 5 Pages.

  I created a site simple single page that must be able to integrate in an e-mail. The person doing the emailing said it must be a single HTML page. When export of the muse as html file creates a file called "muse_manifest.xml" and the folder named "scripts", which I think that one of thesecan be the issue. Y at - it an easy way to change that since Im not a coder. Thank you.

  I created a newsletter template that has a box indicating the coming events of my client.  The event list view uses a liquid markup for the date, so that I can have my dates look, the way people expect them to the United States, instead of the standard display, you get with the regular date tag.

  I must have sent myself 50 previews I've tweaked and adjusted to this campaign, and in each preview dates render out perfectly.  So the client went ahead and sent to the campaign and I get their newsletter this morning and dates appear with the code instead of the date of rendering: {{date | date: "dddd, MMMM %d"}}

  I am amazed that it restores the date properly in the mails from the preview, but not in the last campaign.  Is - it is certainly how things work, or did I miss something?

  I used both constantcontact.com and icontact.com. They are pretty much the same, and if I'm not mistaken, they have all two free 30 day trials to see if they have what you need.

  What I usually do is...

  Within my client sites, I store an email template that is not be downloaded. Not a .dwt Template, but just a base with a bunch of space design file empty. When it's time to send a newsletter, I copy and paste any info they want in content areas from all sources, that they designate and make record under which gives the file a date as its name (to use later if necessary). I copy and paste the complete mess in the administration constantcontact or icontact as Jim mentions area then send out the list according to the customer chooses (most will have at least 2 lists, as the 'dealer' and 'clients' for example).

  The two services that I have used have a test function which allows you to send the final product to an email address associated with the account. I then send to the customer for approval if all is needed, otherwise I just send the email or calendar. The whole process usually takes less of 10 minutes, by email, so I never really felt that he should try to automate with PHP, databases and what-not.

  I've never used a mailchimp, but I guess the process is similar.

  The finished newsletter should be a folded booklet: a piece of 11 x 17 paper folded to form a 8.5x11 "booklet". This clearly means pages 1 and 4 should be printed on one side of the tabloid sheet and pages 2 & 3 on the other.

  I can't find such a model in the Pages.

  There is no such a model, so you'll have to make your own, using a spread on presentation of your newsletter.

  Use shapes, images and text boxes to position available for your model.

  You didn't say what version of Pages that you are using but if it's Pages 5.x, it has no text boxes related so this will make it difficult and it's going to be a lot of manual work.
