Nikon D80 profile lense (Tokina 12-24)

I started lightroom 6 test to play with and know if I needed. I imported several photos and tried to apply the correction lens on tab to develop. It seems that lightroom does not automatically recognize my lens, but I know that it supports Lens profile Support list Camera Raw Lightroom

I found a file with lens profiles Applications/Adobe Lightroom/Adobe Lightroom.app/Contents/Resources/LensProfiles but the interface doesn't show me any options to choose Tokina as a lens manufacturer.

What I am doing wrong?

Thank you!

The profile can be for RAW (NEF) only photos, as most are.

Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

First of all, the D90 was supported in Camera Raw 5.1.

Open Photoshop and click on Photoshop (Mac) or help (Win) > Plug-ins > Camera Raw to see what version you use.

Photoshop CS4 comes with Camera Raw 5.0.

Try to update Camera Raw in Photoshop to 5.7 via help > updates.

If this does not work, try to manually edit Camera Raw

  • Can I use tie in Lightroom by Nikon D80?

I have connected the Nikon D80 to the computer and is not using Lightroom tie because the Lightroom did not find the camera at all.

This camera is not on the list of devices supported for attachment. I'm afraid you're out of luck. There may be a program of Nikon, that you can use, but I'm not sure.

  • My Nikon Lens profile is not available in Lightroom CC 2015.7

    Hello

When I activate the profile correction, my sense profile is not available. I don't understand because it's a common sense for Nikon
(Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm F3. 5 - 4.5 G ED VR). I look in the folder for profiles of lenses (at the library) and the profile is available for D700 (I shoot with D610).

The profile would have worked, but somehow, it is not available in the drop-down list in the pan of lens Corrections.

    What to do next.

Aim profiles are specific to RAW and JPG images. Also try to uncheck 'enable Corrections profile '.

  • 4.1 Lightroom does not recognize my Nikon camera and lenses under "Lens Corrections" supported?

Sub develop Module - lens Corrections, activate the profile Corrections, Lightroom 4.1 don't auto recognize my Nikon D5000 camera and lenses even if they ARE supported.  When I manually choose Nikon in this widow, I can't get 8 of the multitude of supported lenses Nikon to display in the menu dropdown.  Of these 8 lenses, none does not match any of my lenses.  How can I fix it?  I wish I could click the checkbox 'Activate profile Corrections' and have it auto recognize my camera and lens.

    Here is my story:

    I shoot in RAW

It is a new installation of Lightroom 4.1 on a new computer with all updates installed.

    I am running Win 7 64 bit

I've used Lightroom 3 on another computer and it worked fine with Lightroom 3

I'm a real ESTATE agent who uses Lightroom to change my photos, not a pro.  So, please give answers that may include a non-Pro.  I really hope that there is a simple answer to my problem.

I find the help file first and couldn't find an answer.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm sorry I have to ask this question, but you're SURE these images are raw images?  Aim profiles are specific to the file format

  • Profile for Tokina 10-17mm lens

I just downloaded LR3 to try the tool distoortion for a lot of shots I took with my D200 and the Tokina 10-17mm.  I understand that this goal has not yet been added by Adobe.  I read, I might be able to find a profile through the community of CS5, but I do not own CS5 so this isn't an option.  It is a good lens is it if any other way to get a profile as safe as someone has already done?  Otherwise, I get an improvement using the profile of 10.5 mm or 16mm Nikon, so it seems OK the screen am I something stupid?

    Thank you for the advice

    Mike

Yes, the tool will automatically interpolate between focal lengths (3-10, 13 and 17 I think) and openings (2 - expansion Xtreme and f/8 I think) that I used to draw the profile.

  • Profiles of downloaders profile lenses are not recognized

Yesterday, I installed Downloader profile lens to add profile for 12mm 2.8 samyang. The downloader download profiles, however, they are not in camera raw and LR profiles. Profiles exist in the directory
    C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0

Aim profiles are specific to raw and JPEG file formats. I checked the ALPD and couldn't find profiles in JPEG for the Samyang 12 mm F2.8 lenses. You can change the profile of lens so it does not work with raw files. Vignetting correction will need to address, but the distortion correction should be fine:

The profile of lenses are part the updates, and also you must ensure that you have a RAW to Lightroom image detect the lens profile.

  • Objective Tokina profill disappeared

I have a Nikon camera and one of my goals is the Tokina 11-20. When I initially installed Lightroom, Tokina profiles were there, I used them and it worked fine. I stopped and restarted lightroom later in the day, and now they are gone.  I see other objectives listed (Apple, Canon, Nikon, etc., but the Tokina is just took off.

I went and checked the profiles in the directory C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\LensProfiles\1.0 , and of course Tokina is there apart from many others.

I added here the choice I see in LR.

What is happening and how to fix it?

    Thank you!

The problem is that the current photo is not a raw photo.  Most of the profiles of lenses are for raw files only.  Some profiles are also for jpg files.  If you want the full selection of lens profiles then working with raw photos not jpg.  And if you shoot normally first, then for some reason, the current photo you selected is not a raw photo.

The list of manufacturers that you showed us a screenshot, with only 12 entries, is for non - raw files.

The list of manufacturers for raw files has more than three times the number of items to choose from:

  • Request a profile of lens Nikon for ACR 6.1?

I apologize if this should be posted elsewhere. I didn't have the qualified feature request.

I use a Nikon D80 with a lens "AF-S DX Zoom - NIKKOR 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF - ED", and it is not in the current list of profiled in ACR 6.1 RC-1 lenses.

Is it possible to request the inclusion of this lens in the database, or is it simply too old or not professional enough?

If not possible to register, can I assume that I need to build my own profile?

I own a copy of the PT Lens, which has the profile, so not a huge deal - but; I'd like to stay in the cab and then proceed directly to Psalm

Running current PS CS5 Mac Pro (early 2008) and OS X (10.6.3).

Vanilla installs any software other than ACR 6.1 RC (only third-party plug-ins PS are current versions of the PT Lens and Photomatix Pro).

Thanks for any info, or a kick in the right direction for display.

Thanks for putting in the query. We try to add support for new lenses, but to be honest, it will take some time. We do not target only 'pro' or new lenses, however, because there is a lot of value that profiles for old and not pro lenses, especially those with older or simple designs that residual larger aberrations (i.e. more distortion).

  • CS3 cab and profiles for Nikon

I recently installed CS3 on an older Dell workstation (ca 2005 or almost) to allow the use of the scanner Epson on XP Sp3. I would like also to the user of that computer to access CS3: learn at least the basic principles. CS3 shows 10.0.1, cab 4.6.0.30. Everything I see in the calibration is 3.6 4.6, not even the Standard Adobe. I didn't happen on previous installations on XP and I'm stumped. This isn't a big problem, the scanner does not use them, but certainly, she should have access to these profiles.

There are two versions of View NX on this machine that she uses, but I have that on my machine (Win 7) without apparent interference.

    So, what don't get me?

I should add that the Cameras Nikon D80 and D90, both supported by 4.6

While ACR 4.6 can (if I remember correctly) use the DNG profiles, I don't think they have been installed with ACR, I think they were (and are) installed with the free DNG Converter. The current shipping version is 6.6 which must run under XP. Install and you should then have the DNG profiles.

  • Camera Nikon D810 missing LR5 calibration profiles update

These profiles were previously charged and functional:

Camera Nikon D810 profiles appear posterized colors

  • Correction of the lens profile in Lightroom/Photoshop

I am fairly new to Lightroom and Photoshop, so forgive what may be very novice questions about the correction of the lens.  I've walked these tips to help, but you have not yet found information that solved the problem exactly.

I use Lightroom CC and CC of Photoshop (running on a Mac).  I use a Nikon D750 and the objective in question is a Nikkor 24-120 f/4 VRII.  For JPEG images in question, I had tile control off in camera in order to avoid double fixing the LR/PS issue (and really have been dissatisfied correction in camera).

Like many other people have asked about, I have some JPEG files that I want to apply the correction lens profile in LR, but none exist for that lens in JPEG.  I tried the steps that a lot of people have suggested in many forums (i.e., copy of the RAW profile which is located in the folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Camera Raw /..., to change all the "stCamera:CameraRawProfile ="True"' to 'False', then copy the file in the same folder and restart).  I tried to locate the new profile of lens using LR and Camera Raw in Photoshop.  I closed the program, restarted, but nothing seems to work.

Because it did not work, I got rid of the new lens profile I copied and went in Photoshop, using the "Correction of the lens" option in the "Filters" menu (but not in Camera Raw because it does not work).  In the filter, it recognizes the lens and allowed me to make the correction of "thumbnail".

    So my questions are:

    (1) is the method of copy/text change to adapt RAW lens profile does not work for LR CC or is there another text in the file LCP to be changed to make it work? Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    (2) apart from the inefficiency of having re - import the Photoshop file to LR are all the problems to fix the way I did it using the lens correction filter in PS?  I couldn't find any discussion who suggested doing it this way, so it was not clear to me if there was a reason to not do it instead.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could not load profile lenses looks like it would be a problem.  I wonder if your text editor removed line breaks or add or change the encoding to something different.  You could re-edit of true-false and see if things work better.  If I change a LCP on Windows I use instead of Wordpad Notepad because Notepad keeps the characters at end of line and encoding.

The text you see list of LR may not ProfileName it can be the name of the goal or nice name for a lens or something else.  You can change the description read by the man to have a different version: v2a. 2 b v, v 2 c, etc, then you can say that is actually used.

Or, if this description is replicated for each entry profile, then you might need to change not only one.
