  I installed OBIEE12C in the Linux system, that doesn't have any other application. All services were running after installation, able to connect to the analytical page.

  Something is migrated, but I guess it's just a piece of it (I planned to test this part in detail in the coming weeks).

  But as there are tons of models of security different users can configure they can't really make a migration of "miracle".

  I guess that it migrating application roles (default 12 roles have a different name if I'm not mistaken) and you saw that application roles were there. But it cannot migrate any user or group that is part of Weblogic and not really a component of OBIEE. So because of the different names in default 12 c the migration wizard cannot find the group that's wanted to attribute it to an approle and you close up with approles empty.

  If you had an external authentication provider and you did before in 12 c installation migration I figured everything was fine...

  The important thing is that you can now login and validate the process of migration on your system.

  Can you maybe close the thread because at the moment it is still this question is no answer. ?

  We installed a new environment of Sys (11.1.1.7.0) and now need to migrate the OBI of Dev (11.1.1.7.0) objects. Everything works as expected in Dev with connection and view dashboards appropriate according to the permissions of the users. Now, after the migration to Sys when we try to connect to hostname:9704 / analytic all users cannot see the table edge and catalog of objects. WebLogic even does not see everything. I can see items in catalog offline through the Manager of catalog or Windows Explorer. If I look at the catalog using the Catalog Manager my permissions do not allow me to see all items in folders. However, Dev, I am able to do. It seems that some thing is out of sync btwn the catalogue and policy store even if users have the relevant groups assigned in the weblogic LDAP. Any ideas on what might be happening or how to fix?

  (1) store the migrated policies and identity sys Dev store. Confirmed objects have been migrated.
  (2) migrated RPD and sys Dev catalog. Confirmed objects have been migrated.
  (3) refreshed GUID in Sys

  I compare the "Shared folders" privileges between the two environments, DEV (works) and TEST (does not work).

  The DEV environment has:

  (2) authorities 'Shared Folders' REP on my DEV TEST Server vs server, the type of role is 'Catalogue', and 'Application' on the other. How we do conversion as a catalogue to an application from DEV to TEST role?

  2. in the use of HP eprint service, I used to receive the confirmation email after sending files by e-mail for printing. Now, this is not possible. Read about it on the forum I learned that this option is not available any more, after the migration to "HP connected". If HP has ruined their functionality for lets say more easy way to know if my files are printed or not.   I have a HP Pavilion Dv6 with an Atheros AR9285 wifi adapter and it originally had windows vista installed. I just upgraded to windows 7 is a complete and the first format was fine, I could connect to the internet. After restarting my computer, I started to have problems of WiFi, it says I am connected to my router, but the network is unknown and there is no internet access. I am able to connect to the internet on the same router using my phone, my samsung laptop and none of my roommates have had this problem.

  After much research on google and search through discussions, I found that a lot of people have had this problem, but none of their solution worked for me.

  That's what I tried:

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled my network card
  • I've disabled Hello, then went as far as uninstalling itunes
  • I have reset the TCP/IP stack
  • I do not have Metacaff
  • I don't have the service # Id_string (bunch of numbers)
  • I put my default gateway at the same address as my samsung that connects to the internet
  • I put my IP as shown in the following solution addresses

  IP address of 192.168.1.65 (does not etre.65)

  Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

  Default gateway: listed on the bottom of your router's default IP address (for me: 192.168.1.254)

  -Click OK

  I does not require a reboot, you may need to.
