No access to bookmarks
NONE of the statements in your files of information on access to the bookmarks will work for me... NONE of them and I've tried all.
I want to go back to the previous version.
How to do this. I appreciate your browser, but do not have the time to disable it bug. I need to be able to work and I need to work now.
I would like to continue using your browser; However, if this cannot be resolved, it is to Internet Explorer for me.
For instructions, see install an older version of Firefox

can I access synchronize bookmarks of my laptop if my PC Tower is off
I want to have the same bookmarks on my laptop and Tower pc, I can work on one when the other is off? Wil they be updated when I pass usage.
Thank youYes. You can just connect your two computers for synchronization, and no matter if it is off or on, as long as they both downloaded their data for synchronization of servers, you can access it regardless of what machines are turned off at the time.

When I go to Favorites to access my GMail page and click on it, it appears on my screen as half of the screen. the other half is the homepage. How to make screen full page of gmail?
Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.
You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Command + B on Mac).
In the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.
Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

Difficult access to bookmarks Firefox 7 Mac OS 10.5.8
I've just updated to Firefox 7 3.6.15 (I'm on Mac OS 10.5.8 on a MacBook Pro).
I have a long list of bookmarks, both individually and nested in folders or subfolders. 3.6.15 I have had no problem scroll down to access them. Now, however, there often several attempts to stop at the level of the folder I want - often the cursor stops at another folder and will not pass in front of her. The only way I can access the file I want is to go back to the top and try again.
There was a similar ad in June 2011 (menu now awkward bookmarks cascading), but this problem is in rather than F7.0 F5.0. A bug of Mac was published last January, but it was for F4.0 beta, which suggests that the problem was related to 64-bit, Mac and suggesting that shortening bookmark titles might help. I tried, but it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi mal9.
I'm also using Mac 10.5.8 with 7 FF.
I had the same problem, incredibly annoying, as you describe.I just follow the advice of cor - el - and it certainly works.
I had 1 bookmark name very long on my list of menu "Menu bookmarks"
(I have here about 80 Favorites + 6 folders with hundreds of bookmarks inside)
I've shortened - problem is now gone. You don't need to shorten all bookmarks in folders.
Only the links in the main menu -
My computer crashed, and basically, I don't have access to one of my favorites. Is there a way to retrieve them? Were they stored anywhere else outside of my computer?

Bookmarks dropdown goes to the side of screen - unable to access the bookmark
Until a few days ago, I could go to bookmarks-> scroll down for one of my subject of the records-> activate the arrow next to open a second Panel next to him with the contents of this folder - and continue through my folder tree until I got to the bookmark I wanted. The panels would be open to any side, left or right, there is place for display on the screen. Now, the second Roundtable opens; wide to the edge of the screen and I can not cross to the bookmark I want. This comes from a recent update? Very annoying! I can't find a setting anywhere to fix this problem. What should I do?
Seems to have fixed itself!

Described in section help export process works well on older versions of Firefox and I used this when I ran Windows XP, but now I'm on W7 and my browser does not display the bookmarks option to export bookmarks to an HTML file. How can this utility?
Firefox hides the combo of the Favorites menu button when you have the full menu bar displayed: in this case, you can use the bookmarks menu in the menu bar. Or you can switch back to the button orange Firefox (with the menu two compact columns) such as described in this article: the menu of Firefox instead of the menu bar button.
If you are a person focused on the keyboard, you can open the library section bookmarks dialog box by pressing Ctrl + Shift + b (for history, Ctrl + Shift + h, downloads, Ctrl + j).

With bookmarks only, the address bar shows sites not visited in access of bookmarks
When you use the address bar, which is attached to only favorite, websites visited, unknown make their appearance.
I keep no history and I don't have any labeled site. I Redid the settings to the bookmarks that repeatedly and have removed these undesirable, unknown sites that I have never visited or searched individually. Is there a reason why the Favorites only will be not displayed?- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_history_and_toolbar_buttons_not_working_-_Firefox

easy access to bookmarks imported in HTML
Hello...
recently installed Tor Browser that uses 8 FF. Imported my favorites of Chrome as a HTML file but find they are so deeply rooted in the system of bookmark FF at the point of being unusable. To join, I have to scroll through a series of files labeled "Imported" until I finally. Is there a way to get around this?
Thanks in advance,
Alan D Kerr
You can use cut and paste to move them to another folder of bookmarks as a folder of bookmarks toolbar or bookmarks Menu folder main if they are currently in a Google Chrome form or a similar folder.

If my computer falls down can access my bookmarks and stuf from another computer
my laptop crashed and so I bought AnotherOne coming soon, but I really need my favorites and passwords from my old laptop how can I get these
Hard drive of your computer to quit smoking. Therefore, if Firefox has not been configured for synchronization of Firefox and Firefox application if no data was stored on an external hard drive, you cannot restore the data.
Sorry, but you can try to take the old computer to a professional to see if they can remove old data from the device.

When I open foxfire, I don't have a menu.
If you just upgraded Firefox 3.6.x or earlier for Firefox 6, the Menu bar has been replaced by the Firefox button in the upper left corner (orange on Windows, gray on Linux). Click this button for the new menu system.
You can also restore the Menu bar, or you can temporarily show the menu bar by following the instructions here-> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-updating-firefox#w_why-are-the-menus-file-edit-view-etc-missing

Cannot use the option button to access the folder of bookmarks hidden on a dead drive
I'm on Mac OSX 10.7.5, and I can easily access the folder on my current drive by pressing the option key (so that the hidden library appears) then get bookmarks of otherwise hidden files (since it's my new boot drive)
BUT
I need to copy / move my LAST favorites since ten days previously, a dead hard drive. The drive is usable, just not able to start.
BUT
Since this amazing new 'hold option on GO in the Finder menu to see the invisible library feature' (sarcasm) requires your operating system to be started, I can't access the bookmarks folder in the library. How can I do this if the Finder is not started on the dying drive? Is - this make any sense?
Check this?

I have imported bookmarks in IE9, but don't know where to access in firefox
I installed Firefox 7 and have all the toolbars on the screen, but I can't access the bookmarks that I imported from Internet Explorer 9.
When I click on Favorites in the top left of the page (on the menu you who says File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, help) it does not show all of the bookmarks that I imported.
Please can you help. Where can I get the bookmarks?
Thank you
Dr. Anthony WoodYou can usually find favorites IE imported into a folder ("Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the file Menu Bookmarks (bookmarks > show all bookmarks).
If you cannot find them in the folder "From Internet Explorer" then try this:
- Export Favorites in Internet Explorer to a file (bookmarks.html) HTML: file > import and export
- Import the HTML file in Firefox: bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > import HTML: from a file
