I would like to be notified, if a chat message arrives. I tried two Add-ons, both will emit a sound signal, but not display a window notification, as promised, then I would do it myself, using the "notify - send". Guess who's going to take to listen to an event of fitting and run notify - send, can someone please give me a hint how to do? Docs are rare.

  • New Skype - group not chat messages

Awhile back Skype had a big update. Since chat messages and then typed by one of the same person is grouped together make impossible to see which text belongs to what message.

before I could see a timestamp on each message, but the same user id now different messages of type 3 and press enter/send after each of them, they are all grouped under the same message.

Is there a way to disable this option?

Also, is it possible to disable the "chat bubbles" that the text is inside to leave only the text as in the previos versions?

If none of this is possible I would come down, but unfortunately to send photos of the oldest most recent client does not work.

You can unnstall versions 7.0 and install the 6.21.0.104 precedent:

    http://download.Skype.com/MSI/SkypeSetup_6.21.0.104.msi

Skype 6.21.0.104 version you will be able to receive online (Cloud-transferred) images of new versions of Skype, but to send images will still work the old way of P2P.

Basically, it's like I wrote above. I can never access messages or chat. It just started not letting me see my notifications at all or let me log out (it me sends it to the account configuration page instead). None of the current suggestions helped. I've updated everything, including firefox, but nothing did. Anyone got any ideas?

  • We need notifications for email and messages on the desktop

    Hello

I just found out how to see the notifications, but I don't think they are convenient.

Is it possible to receive notifications on the Destkop? It would be nice to have a counter of unread for example emails and a message counter.

Thank you all for Firefox OS! I love this OS.

    Best wishes

    Hol

    Hi joseph.vidal.rosset,
I'm glad to hear you like Firefox OS! I understand that you want to move the desktop notifications. Currently, there is no option to customize notifications.

I don't know if there's an app on the market that do that, but you can change all notifications to not appear on the home screen of the setting menu by pressing the Notification. In order to change notifications for new e-mail, tap e-mail account on the three bars on the left menu, click on the gear and then click the name of the account. From there on, there will be an option to disable the new e-mail notifications.

If you have any other questions on how to use Firefox OS, we are happy to help you.

  • My incoming mail messages "stuck" after a message large file download, so that no additional message charge

I use Thunderbird to retrieve messages from a pop server. She usually works well, but sometimes as a result of an email with a large attachment, will only re - retrieve this message on a continuous loop, without having to download any other message. I try to remove some of the previous incoming emails, and sometimes this frees up the download. Today, after 4 days of trying, nothing is downloading. All incoming messages are being rated.

Go to the suppliers page web mail email and delete the email problem here. See if that frees up your other emails.

  • Skype Sync problem, get the Notifications but not full messages! [cellular data only]

Hey guys, I had problems with Skype on my iPhone for a long time. And this happens only when I'm NOT on WIFI.

Whenver someone present me a message, the message will be displayed on my phone as a notification. I always get these any problem. But when I click on the notification to read it in Skype, the message does not appear. Only when I connect to WIFI, it will download messages in Skype.

I still have my PC on 24/7, with Skype running, so all messages also delivered there.

I had this problem on my iPhone 4, 5 and 6 now. With iOS, 7, and 8.

Sometimes when Skype is open in the background on my phone, or when it is closed. I have always received the notifications correctly. But when I load Skype, shows nothing.

Very frustrating when I know I have a message, but I can not just play them!

Push notification TURNED on in App Notifications are turned on. Under notifications Skype iOS, everything is turned on. And Skype is activated as a background App application update. And I use the cell data for active Skype.

Yet once again, this ONLY happens when I'm on a cell/3-4 connection (G) Wi - Fi I constantly receive full messages delivered in the Skype application.

    How can I fix it?

Yes, I thought about her. It's your carier mobile which is limiting traffic to Skype on your phone.

I'm with Vodafone. Upgrade to a more expensive plan with Vodafone fixed this problem.

  • always get null for incoming email message bodies

    Hi all

Someone please give me assistance? I only get the body of email null message with my code and I don't know what's the problem with him. I'm on OS 4.7 and OS5.0, both gave me the same result.

My application add an option to the e-mail menu to allow the user to perform text-to-speech on his email. It works well on the composition of e-mail, but it does not work on an incoming e-mail where the code always get a message body null instead of what is really in the email. The function that I used to recover the body of the email is getEmailBodyText() and here is the list:

Note that I had no problem to get about the e-mail. I don't have any problem in getting the body of the message.

  • Z10 allocated to the wrong Contact incoming text Messages blackBerry

Recently, I received my Zed10 return of warranty repair for an out of the box of malfunctioning headset port and is now experiencing a thousand times more frustrating issues.  The phone is now problems when I got a text message in which he he attributed to the bad contact.  I checked the contact information, there is no duplicate numbers, the number of the text comes from the East only attributed to a contact, but through an SMS conversation, it may seem that I'm talking with 3 different people, which is very confusing.  Before that I sent my Zed10 in I made a full backup, then wipe to security.  I received my unit exact same warranty return, updated to the latest OS, did a restore of my backup and now this.  I went through and deleted the whole SMS, which seems to fix the problem, but after about an hour it started again.  Some figures it's now show as incoming texts are not the numbers of my contacts, and I can keep the conversation going by answering the real contact on my phone (if I am not answering the number that he told me that the text came, the person at the other end has no information of any text).  If anyone has experienced this?  Given that we have really not contact, backup in bond options as we did in DM my next attempt "fix" will seek to move my contacts to my SIM card and wipe the device... once again.  Very happy to have my BB10 back after 2 weeks on a 9300 Curve, but it is VERY frustrating.

  • Palm pre - unnecessary notifications of incoming mail

I created my pre with 4 different accounts (my staff IMAP, yahoo, gmail and my Exchange Server work). I edited the account preferences for the last 3 accounts do not show notifications, but left notifications on for the first account (personal IMAP).

However, I get notifications of new message for all 4 accounts. Notifications are not particularly intrusive, given that the system of notification of the GER is so well designed , but still, I get mail in the account of work frequently enough that it is not new at all and I don't want even the phone to tell me.

(Oh and when the phone is locked with the screen turned off, sitting on my desk, each time that a message arrives the notification comes on the screen for a few seconds, which is annoying and, presumably, a blow to the life of the battery.)

How can I get the notifications to stop for real? Anyone else see this problem?
