  Hi all

  I tried importing the .avi files (recorded by a camcorder HD, manufacturer 'MEDION' on a SDHC memory card) to a new project video first items 12.

  These video files are misinterpreted by elements of first as audio files-> I can only import them to the project on audio tracks (but not on video tracks). Even the video files can be played using windows media player (win 8 64-bit) without encountering any problems. Also the integrated in the elements organizer can correctly read files .avi video files.

  I can reproduce the crash. It seems to be linked to the importation of all layers in the scene and selecting the option "place objects to the original position. All other combinations seem to not fall down, so at least it contributes to isolate what's going on and offers an option for you to import your works of art and continue with your site. I'll fill a bug report and send it to the correct people for evaluation - I do not know what the conflict is between the file I and Flash (it is not due to not having HAVE installed).

  I am having some problems with After Effects I can't understand. I have a video in .avi that loads and plays fine in itself, but when I import to change in After Effects 5.5, I get strange during playback, and even artifacts reflect in the final export. I have the same problem when I try to import and display on the front. • After the upgrade to CS5 Audio is not import / load with video in avi format

  1. I've updated since Ppro CS3 to CS5 purchased in the Adobe store.

In General, however, is not really an "optimal" preset for any data type of sequences. Premiere Pro is quite flexible, you can use images of any kind in any kind of sequence you want or need. I often work in sequences that are almost completely different from my source footage - it really depends on your personal preferences to work and your desired output. For example, I often work with assets of 1080i/p, but need to output to SD output. in this case, I don't even bother with an HD sequence preset.
