Just so you know, this is a user to user forum, so the answers you get here are very likely be users like you. Adobe Announces not usually when the camera special features will be supported. From what I have observed since I've been using Lightroom since creation is that the support of attachment for the devices is not one of the main functions.

Lightroom is mainly a software processing and management of large volumes of raw files from digital cameras and supports about 400 odd camera models and only provides support of attachment for less than 10% of these camera models.

In addition, Lightroom must wait for the manufacturer of the Unit provide support via an sdk add-on information to enable them to start working on allowing the hitch support. Lightroom updates are normally issued about all three months. If depending on when the necessary support from the manufacturer of the camera is made available, it can be several months before actually be included in an update. I would say that if the hitch support is essential to your workflow then you need to check before making a purchase.

See the link for info on strap support.
