No results in search for "anytime upgrade".

Improved a Dell XPS in Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium about two years ago. Now, I want to go back to Windows 7 Professional. Bought the upgrade package, but cannot pass through step 3: look for "anytime upgrade". The computer's search comes back with no results. Now what?

UPDATE... UPDATE... UPDATE.

I took my open software to Office Depot for a refund. A clerk here offered a few suggestions that I have not in this forum. He said to go to the Control Panel, look for the button "view by" and select "large icons". Lo and behold... it was Windows Anytime Upgrade even if a search could not find. I clicked on the choice to enter my upgrade key and 10 minutes later, I am running Windows 7 Professional.

I do only this last message to give this information to JW Stuart and HOD17 in the hope that it can help others. I don't know why you guys do not know this information and Office clerks deposit made... and I don't like. Hope you read this and maybe go.

    But in the production environment, we want to limit the number of results to a manageable level, say 200 users. I tried resultLimit and LignesMax in the stock option plan, but nothing helped.

    The JavaDoc for AttributeCondition does not list these operators or conditions.

    You will need to add conditions to your query that limits the response by other means.

    I don't know what your user name looks like, but for us, we have an ID for each account that you could put limits to

    i.e.

    UserID > current_place and userid< current_place="" +="">

    that, if the user name is a number, would limit the answer to a maximum of limit, but if no user is in the meantime it would obviously be zero.

    the alternative is to create your own rule to query the repository on your own and use the resulting data to browse normal calls.
    It's a bit heavy if you use attributes that are not available at hand, only existing in the xml BLOB

    I also think that you could make your own javaclass and do the same thing, but I'm just not proficent in java as to who try here: P

  • Windows anytime upgrade, the product key is not valid

    My laptop is with pre installed Windows7 professional edition, and I have a new product key WAU (Home premium-> NEC) in hand. When I tried this product key in the Express Windows upgrade process, I received a message "product key is not valid.

    Is the installed version must be exactly the same with the WAU product key pack? I think of my installed Professional is an advanced version of Home Premium. Why not the product key be compatible?

    Any contribution is appreciated!

  • Failure of Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade on the new computer laptop

    Hello

    We just bought a new Asus laptop that came with Windows 7 Starter as standard.

    A week later, we bought an Express Upgrade Home Premium 7.

    The upgrade has failed at first time around; following the advice of the community, I tried the following:

    Check all updates;

    Installed the CheckSUR tool fix;

    Disabled user account control;

    Disabled antivirus;

    The hard drive to find errors;

    Profiled selective startup in MSConfig.

    In the end, I got was a "invalid product key" - which it is not.

    Windows displays as entered, and I have SP1.

    As a last resort, I have reset the specifications of the factory and tried the Express upgrade as the first thing on the PC 'cost '. Upgrade failed after 25 minutes.

    In the very final resort, I reset all the solutions above workaround to the specifications of the factory again, re-directed (except by disabling the antivirus because I have not reinstalled which again - there is only Windows Firewall between me and the world wide). Update failed.

    I just tried to disable the Windows Firewall and tried the upgrade - my product key verified program, was asked to accept the terms, told me it would be as little as 10 minutes - but now it's to say the upgrade button that I entered is a version of Windows that does not work with the Express upgrade... but it IS an Express upgrade.

    It took nine days so far - please you have the magic answer? Thank you waiting...!

  • W7 does anytime upgrade from Home Premium 64 64 Pro fails

    My Home Premium 64 fully active and functional system is unable to upgrade to 64 Professional with no more than a suggestion to go to the Support technique Microsoft with my product ID. What can I do?

    It is a job perfectly 32 GB MSI P67A - GD65 Core i7 system with a Windows 64 bit Home Professional OS installed OEM PID 2600 k.
    I need this to go from 16 GB to 32 GB.
    We bought the Express Amazon upgrade key and installed according to the instructions...
    I think it's even showing a new PID on the system Page. Maybe...
    It is supposed to work, right?
    It's almost - it install and updates and shows the percentage completed, and then it restarts and finally shows a 98% completion, after which it fails and comes back.
    That is what it is?

    I bought a new Dell XPS 8500 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OEM installed.

    I have a HP m922f, which had been upgraded to Winows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to 64-bit Windows Home Premium using Windows Anytime Upgrade. I did a clean installl in Windows Home Premium 64 bit on HP and want to update the new Dell for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit using the Windows Anytime Upgrade key I bought previously.
