NO sensitivity to the pressure at point 6.3 of Lightroom with Wacom Intuos3

Hello

I noticed that there are a lot of discussions on this issue, but I couldn't find a solution that worked for me.

I just installed Lightroom 6 and updated to 6.3, I have also updated the Wacom driver to the latest version of 6.3.15-2.

Pressure sensitivity works everywhere else on the system (pilot of wacom, gimp, lightroom 5 etc.), but lightroom 6.3 seems to ignore it completely.

I tried to turn the stylus in the windows settings, turning that on or off in the driver wacom and start-up or stopping the use of graphics in Lightrrom - all with absolutely NO effect material.

I really need this feature to work... If anyone know how to get 6 Lightroom to work properly here? any update or the secret setting?

any help is appreciated!

I also use the old Intuos3. Normally I use it on a Mac, but I switched to Windows to test this. On the two operating systems, the pressure sensitivity worked fine in Lightroom 6.3. Of course, the difference here is that I am on Windows 10, so I don't know how much of a factor it will be. So there must be another factor that we are missing.

The first thing I would say is a new Windows user account. This query will display all the default settings (which is what I used, I just installed Windows 10 and it was the first time I installed the Wacom drivers).

  • How quickly the back / just pointing out / annotate a pdf with stylus newspaper article?

I have Acrobat proX and have not found a way to get rid of all my hundreds / thousands of newspaper articles even if I also have PDF files.  I've been manually highlighting the parts of items paper and Scribble several comments on the fringes for years. For the PDF files I can easily highlight text, but I did not find an easy way (with a minimum of clicks) to pass back highlighting writing a comment in the margins with a stylus/tablet. I bought a Wacom Bamboo and it does not support the buttons on the tablet to switch on the fly between acrobot pro putting highlight and programming text box entry. Into a single article and might want to highlight and comment to scribble a few dozen times. It's really very slow when you try to read / annotates quickly.  It is so easy with a real pen and paper, but none of us at work (we all have acrobat pro) allows you to simulate this facility by electronic means. Anyone has a suggestion please?

Unfortunately, the Acrobat family at the moment does not support the function "automatic free drawing" located in other tactile applications (such as Microsoft Windows 8 reader app). This may change in the future, but right now, it's very time consuming to keep switching between tools and fidelity of the markup annotation is not good enough for handwriting.

If you want to better support for the idea of being able to "scribble on the page" with a touchscreen or stylus, please submit a feature request. Applications, faster it will happen:

  • PSD in lightroom, edited in lightroom. When the changed data ('Edit Original'), returns to lightroom with original lightroom edits lost

    Hello

It is a change, I've noticed since the upgrade to 2015 CC LR and PS 2015.

My process usually looks like this:

    1) modify the RAW in lightroom (leave uncropped image)

    (2) with LR edits done, edit RAW file externally in Photohop (cloning, patching, etc.).

    (3) save PS edit, back to Lightroom to find new PSD alongside old RAW, with PS changes.

    (4) new DSP harvest at the end

    (5) fact

Every now and then, I noticed that I forgot to do something in photoshop and bring back the PSD in the PS, choose when you are prompted to "modify the Original.

Before the update LR and PS to the CC 2015 versions, I'd be able to do everything I wanted the PSD in PS, and when I got back to lightroom, LR would have kept the culture I had done in the PSD before resuming in photoshop (so I wouldn't have to redo a culture I can done in the PSD in step 4 above).

Lately, since I've upgraded LR and PS to CC2015 I noticed that when I take a PSD already edited out of LR in the PS, he returned with the new PS made adjustments but the harvest of LR (step 4) are all lost, and I need to redo any cropping, I could have done.

Is this a bug? Is it a setting I need to change? This is a feature that was simply lost in the latest versions of PS/LR?

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance

    Vineet

I think I know what is different with my configuration of LR and what is the cause of the problem. I don't have 'include develop settings in metadata in JPEG and TIFF, PNG, PSD files"checked in the settings of my catalog? Do you have?

I just tested this with "Including developing parameters in the metadata in JPEG, TIFF, PNG and PSD files" checked. Using "Manual" "save metadata to file" ("Automatically write changes into XMP" unchecked), I lose my LR changes when back and forth if I have not updated the metadata with the latest development changes. LR resembles returned PS 'Original Edition' file and bed in XMP changes rather than changes in the catalog. Even when you use "Automatically write changes into XMP" it mast be a delay in LR update metadata file with the latest changes to LR.

If I do the new changes in LR to 'Edit in PS' TIFF and then try to do another edition in PS > edit the Original I get the following message below. If I choose "Settings Overwrite" TIFF opens in PS without the LR settings as expected. When the file is saved in the PS and returned to LR LR changes are applied.

If you do not see the message below check "reset all warning dialog boxes" in LR preferences > general tab. It should be shaded below when all warnings are activated.

  • sensitivity to uneven pressure on different areas of the screen

Just upgraded my win8 x230t. After much trial and error, I finally got the pen to have very low pressure sensitivity by increasing the hardness of the tip of the stylus in full within the parameters of the stylus (Panel). But I don't know if it's pressure sensitivity. The problem now is that I get thin bright lines in the middle of the screen but dark and hard lines after the central region of the screen when you draw with the same pressure. And it's the same regions, even if I move the canvas. I have attatched a screenshot too. Would it be my screen or my scanner? I'm confused... Please help.

The lines on the attached picture is drawn with equal pressure.

It was the pen from the digitizer. I replaced it with a new pen and its good now. Thanks for your help...

    Hi, JNG,.

Adobe Android Apps - community - Google + is how we get the previews of our Android applications in the hands of the people. The version that is available right now (v1.5.239) includes not only the shelf (of many Samsung and Nexus devices) support but also support pens.

Once you join the page is super easy to access the latest version of the app.

    Hope that helps.

  • size/opacity of the brush sometimes work and sometimes Don t on the pressure sensitivity

    Hello

I m using a wacom intuos 3 (latest driver) to paint in photoshop CS5 64-bit.

the size and opacity settings are set to the pressure sensitivity, but when I went to bed several times it seems to be quite random if the race is as drawn with the wacom stylus or simply with a mouse. It sometimes seems that the race don't appear at all.

here a picture for example, all the lines are drawn with the pen wacom and opacity/size located on sensitivity to pressure and approximately the same amount of pressure:

Besides the brushes appear to perform quite slow compared to older versions of photoshop, even the regular brush circle is sluggish.

the line always appears a little behind my cursor.

    My system specs are:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    I7 860 2.80 GHz

    8 GB ram

    NVIDIA Geforce 570 1280 GDDR 5

Wacom recommend a downgrade to a previous (6.1.5) of their Tablet driver version if you have intermittent pressure problems.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Curve 9300 sensitivity of the pointer (mouse)

I bought a new one for me used Curve 9300. I love it but I find it very frustrating when I try to move my contacts or recent calls or in the main menu. Just zooms here and there and guard drag and down much more than I want to. I feel that I don't control where it goes.

I found the place to set the sensitivity and set it to the lowest, but it still zoomed in here and there. Any ideas?

    Hello anitaroy

Have you tried a reboot battery pull? If not, do it by removing the battery while your unit is powered on, then wait at least a minimum and reinsert back your device take a lot a long reboot. After the reboot, please check again.

If the problem persists and you encounter a problem with the trackpad, you can try this Knowledge Base:

  • Helps with the pressure of the pen on the Tablet

So I looked around all this morning and I wasn't sure if he should ask adobe or monoprice, so I came here first.

Yesterday, I got a tablet of Monoprice (5553 model I think). I use Windows 8 and I downloaded the latest compatible driver from the logic of the UC, rebooted the system, and that plugged into the tablet itself and let it install. The pressure of the pen works perfectly in the tests/configuration. It does not, however, in photoshop CS6 and activation of pressure of the pen in the shape Dynamics I always get the "!" who says need a pressure sensitive tablet. Is it because I missed a setting in photoshop? Do I need a different driver? Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.

Well, this has been fixed with this band of working capital: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1405422

So as one solution for others who have this problem:

-Create a text file (in something like Notepad) and write:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

Name it PCSystemConfig.txt and then save it in C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings\ CC. (or another year if that is what you have.)

-If the cursor is out of sync with the time, go to the control panel-> hardware and audio-> display and point set size to small. Make sure that the changes take effect.

-Open photoshop once everything is activaated and registered.

Everyone says that it is a driver problem. Hell, I should read more before you post a thread, huh?

  • How to change the sensitivity of the mouse on my satellite L500-1XL?

I had to put a new HARD drive in my laptop the other day and since then, the touchpad has become extremely sensitive. It continues to move the cursor to random points in my text which means that I type a load of nonsense, most of the time!

I tried to find ways to control the mouse sensitivity, but nothing helped. Anyone has any suggestions please!

Generally the sensitivity of the mouse (touch sensitivity) can be set in advanced settings of the mouse (properties for Synaptics touchpad).
You can find it if you go to control panel > mouse properties > tab device settings > settings.
When Synaptisc properties are open go in pointing > sensitivity. Here you can change the sensitivity to the touch options

Test it please. I really hope this will help you.

  • Sensitivity of the touchpad

How to set the sensitivity of the touchpad on a laptop HP Pavilion g7? I use Windows 8 and the cursor constantly jumps around the screen as I type. It makes me crazy! I've already slowed down the speed of the pointer, but it did not help.

    Hey rjgdetroid,

Yes, you can certainly adjust sensitivity settings according to your preferences! Here's how to do it in Windows 8: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03523373

It's also a good idea to keep your touchpad drivers up-to-date, because they improvements to how it works and even add new features. You can grab the latest drivers here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

    I hope this helps!

  • How can I change the sensitivity of the touchpad on my laptop Windows 8 Samsung series 3?

I can't find a setting that allows me to adjust the touchpad sensitivity.  I can pinch to zoom in with ease, but I can't two fingers scrolling unless I dig my nails into the protector with strength.  And, even then, it works sometimes.

Settings-> Imput gives me only option to turn the touchpad on or off.

Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> Synaptics TouchPad V7.5 gives me options to set the speed and to turn on or off certain functions of drag.
Control Panel-> currencies and printers-> mouse gives me left - and right handed options, double-click speed options, pointer options, wheel (which does not have this computer) options, etc.
Where else is there to look at?  Help!  Thank you!  :)

  • Why Photoshop CC 2014 acknowledge the pressure of the pen or pen tilt my Cintiq 13HD?

I just installed Photoshop CC 2014 and it does not seem to recognize the pressure of the pen and the tilt of the pen for my Tablet? (I get the icon exclamation point in the settings of the brush). I have no problem with CC 64-bit Photoshop. I am running Windows 8.1 with the latest Wacom Cintiq drivers. Is there any solution for this?

I saw this posted in a thread

Photoshop CC 2014 changes Microsoft system to the use of stylus API, with these APIs, you must have Windows active ink. These APIs give better race results and improve the experience out of the box for users using Windows tablet/convertible devices. If you want to revert to the old WinTab of previous versions implementation follow these steps:

Create a file that contains instructions to restore the WinTab feature.

Create a text file in a text editor such as Notepad.

    Type the following lines:

    # Use WinTab

    UseSystemStylus 0

[Save the file as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt and save the file in the Photoshop settings folder: C:\Users\[User name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2014\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings\ CC.

To disable the functionality of the gestalt, delete the file PSUSerConfig.txt. Otherwise, move it to a different folder, if it doesn't contain other controls, or change the lines so that they read:

    # Use the native tablet support for Win8

    UseSystemStylus 1

  • Photoshop not properly responding to the pressure of the pen tablet?

I use Photoshop CS4 and a Wacom Intuos3. Recently, I erased from my hard drive and reinstalled everything. Before the wipe-out, I did have problems with photoshop in response. But, about 70% of any type of accident stroke (fast, slow, hard, soft) turns out to be a line without no pressure sensitivity. (Screenshot: ) http://i53.Tinypic.com/fk5q9s.jpg ) It's crippling seriously how fast I finished images and my motivation to finish.

    I tried...

-installation of the latest updates (for photoshop)
-Refine autour with properties/preferences tablet (double click distance is now set to 0, touches is disabled)
-The use of photoshop RAM setting (now located in the 1100, I have 3 gigs of RAM total, and cache (to 4) levels)
-which dates back to the old drivers of the tablet or using the original disk
    -sought updates on photoshop

I don't know that there is a problem with photoshop, because all my other art programs seem to be working with my tablet. I also know that I didn't quite re-install photoshop after the wipeout.

It's almost certainly a driver problem with the tablet.

For awhile Wacom recommended to install an older version.  Then very briefly, they released a new version that was supposed to solve the problem, then cancelled the release.  I don't think they have re-released again, the driver you want is 6.1.5, I believe.
