NO SOUND, please help

Some time ago I started having problems with my card (SigmaTel C-Major Audio sound). At first he began to distort the sound, but after reinstalling the audio driver (using Tools & Utilities CD-ROM), has been fixed for a short period of time when he started doing this again and I continued to reinstall the driver. Finally, however, I lost the sound and when I checked in the Device Manager, there was a problem with my card its (yellow exclamation) and under the status of the device, he says (still don't) "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ». Can someone please tell me if it is possible to solve this problem by myself (and how) or I have to take the laptop to an ASP?

Try it please remove sound card in Device Manager and reboot the laptop. Respect please what happened after that. The sound card must be detected and installed properly.

It will also be interesting to know what model of laptop you have.

    I have fixed my sound.  Infrared connection cable Council/plug headphones to the motherboard has been damaged by inserting several times. I used a toothpick to smooth wire tangled and damaged and prevent their touching each other. Now I got his back... I hope my experience can have use for others.     You should go to the manufacturers website and see if you can download the software from there. Since you have not provided any information (make and model) it really not much I can do.

    It sounds slipped you can not use the app phone on your phone, because the sound is uneven or inaudible and something is happening with your music do not let play. I want to quit all applications running on the phone:

    What version of Windows are you using?

    Start > right click on computer and select Manage

    Select Device Manager

    Click on the + next to sound, video and game controllers

    Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

    Restart the computer and Windows will reload the driver

    Your question is unclear, but I think you mean that your taskbar has found its way to the top of the screen.

    Right-click on the taskbar, and then click to remove the tick of locking task bar, then left click on the task bar and hold down the button then drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen and release the button. That must be put in place and you can lock the taskbar if you wish. The taskbar can be placed top, bottom, or on the sides and it will work normally at each location.

    To update your sound driver refer to the mention of the steps below:
     
    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel
    b. click System and Maintenance.
    c. under Device Manager, click on devices and equipment display
    d. expand sound, video and game controllers.
    e. right click on your Audio Controller, and then click Properties.
    f. Select the driver tab
    g. click the Update Driver button.
    h. Select search automatically for updated driver.

    maybe try to use system restore, restore to a point before you had the problem. Who find themselves in Control Panel-> system control of-> System Protection.

    You can also check the Device Manager. Search for audio video and game controllers and click to enlarge. If you see yellow with flag icons, this means that there is a problem with the device driver, for example it could be absent if you deleted it. You should probably check this first before doing a system restore to make sure that there is really a device problem, and not because it is a parameter changes such as turning off the device.

    c. double-click the sub element
