No USB 2.0 driver available for HP p7-1254 (for the installation of Windows 7)

P7-1254 HP Desktop
Windows 7 Edition Home Premium 64-bit

I replaced my hard drive and do a clean installation of Windows 7.
I already found the drivers from hp.com site, and I am familiar with the order and the process of installing the driver on this machine.

My problem is; HP seems to offer is more USB 2.0 for downloading drivers.

USB 3.0 drivers are all that is available for the HP p7-1254.

So I have two questions:

1. can I install only the drivers USB 3.0 on a Windows 7 computer, and wait for my USB 2.0 devices to work?

2. in the case, where can I download drivers USB 2.0 for this machine?

Thank you in advance for any help or advice you offer.

Hello:

Windows 7 has the USB 2 drivers included with the operating system.

USB3 drivers will only install the drivers for the 3 USB ports.

You must install the amd chipset driver and restart the computer before installing other drivers.

  • air.swf getStatus() returns 'available' for the installation of side car

I hope someone from Adobe can help with this one.  We have received the license from Adobe to redistribute the Adobe AIR runtime and we use the method of side car.  Installation of AIR and our application works correctly, you can launch our app as well and rolls.

The problem is that, sometimes, we are launching our AIR application using a Web site and the air.swf (for lack of a better word) component to determine if AIR is installed and proper version of our application.

Under Windows, it seems that our silent installation does not have files that are accessible by the air.swf in the right place - so he reports 'available' instead of 'installed', even if AIR and our app are actually installed and works perfectly.

During our silent installation of AIR, it appears the Adobe AIR installer puts a file (airappinstaller) that contains 2 files (the airappinstaller.exe and a digest.s) - the folder is installed here:

    \Adobe\Flash Player\AddIns\airappinstaller {program Files}

However, the utility of the air.swf is looking for them to be installed here:

    {UserFolder} \AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\ \bin\airappinstaller www.macromedia.com

It seems the first time everything is installed, two folders will be created correctly.  But if the user has subsequently uninstalls AIR, when they use our Installer to re - install AIR (and our application) "Macromedia" folder is not created.  If manually copy us the files in the folder in the box "ProgramFiles\Adobe" in the Macromedia air.swf file then starts the correct status of statement again.

How we overcome this problem to avoid calls to technical support on this?  Is there a flag that we can move the installer?

We get the same result using Windows 2008, XP and 7

It is a little unhappy quirk of the installer of the AIR. When you perform a silent installation as an administrator like you do, it is generally not possible to write to the location of each user that the badge again. To counter that almost any when you do anything as a user in the AIR we will copy the files airappinstaller and other things by user to their correct if necessary locations. There is also a specific flag, you can switch to the Installer application for this

    / Applications/utilities/Adobe\ AIR\ Application\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe\ AIR\ Application\ Installer - updateUserState

If you run that, as a user, it should fix everything up

  • need sata drivers to format text for the installation of windows

hey im trying to reinstall windows on my dell xps 700 desktop computer but I need drivers sata for the instalation disc (I do not have the supliet a dell me with) and I'm using nlite for this but I can't find the drivers for it I need the driver to be in textmode as nlite called someone can please help me with a download link for the drivers

I have now completed the installation and it worked smoothly so now I just need to some drivers can any of you guide me? I don't have an Office exept empty the trash so I need some internet for beginners

    http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19

For best results, put in your Service tag.  Otherwise, "choose from a list of all products Dell" > Desktops > XPS > XPS 700 Jet Black

    Read this first http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&docid=DSN_1A0C0937D62A8739E0401E0A55174744&isLegacy=true

If there is a choice of different drivers (for example, the categories of video and audio), you should do one or more of the following to determine that you actually have material:

    1. use your serial number instead of looking for your computer in the list of all Dell products.
    2. glance in the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK)
    3. look in system information (start > run > msinfo32.exe > OK)
    4. open your computer and determine the make and model of the control card

  • Assistance needed for the installation of windows server 2008 r2

    Hello users,.

I am new to this technology of the virtual environment and I need help in installing windows server 2008 r2 on a machine virtual workstation. For it so what are the recommended setting for drivers, no. of processors, amount of RAM, type of CISS or sata... etc to give the best performance on my virtual machine. If possible please provide me details to my knowledge.

    Thanks in advance

Are you sure that you have installed a Windows Server 2008 R2?

Because the normal procedure is that after the installation, you will get a prompt to choose an administrator password. Once you are connected.

There is no additional user created during installation. This only happens when you install versions of Windows desktop.

  • Only 24 of 48 drives available for the disk pool

I have a MD3220 with a shelf of 1220 and I try to re - configure and create a pool of large disks with all 48 records.  When I go to create the disk pool, it only takes 24 14 to but shows 32 TB available disks.  I amazed the previous installation configuration because we had to take a tablet of 1220 from this table not used for another project, so now I'm back to reconfigure.  I wonder if the high-end features must be re-activated because I deleted the config.  Maybe, that's all.  When I go to md - storage.com to regenerate a key of course it doesn't have no idea what my system.  Is there something that I am missing.   Should be a two-minute task that will now take hours apparently.

    Hello Tradsd,

Ah, that's your problem. Yes two disks must be of the same size & speed, otherwise the pool will use the specifications of the smaller disks to build the pool. Yes, you can develop the direct pool you just need to get seen by MDSM readers and as long as they are showing that no, so you can assign them to a disk pool or group of disks that you want to. Here is a link to the Administrator's guide, and if you look at page 97 he explains about the readers with the same physical size. • Places available for the update of windows

hard drive space left of windows update

    Greetings,

There is a program in Windows 7 called disk cleanup.  Click Start -> and type Disk Cleanup in the search box.  It will ask you which drive you want to clean.  You'll probably want to choose the C: drive.  Disk Cleanup will then analyze this player and list in detail what is safe to delete. If this is not enough space available, click the Other Options tab. This will give you an option to uninstall the programs and features or to remove all but the last restore point.

    Hope this helps,

  • DVD drive on laptop does not work since the installation of Windows 8

The DVD player on my laptop would not consider movies since I installed Windows 8.  Any ideas what app or service should be addressed to make it work.  I don't know if it is a hardware problem (I doubt it, it worked fine before) or a video software problem.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, Windows 8 does not natively support playback of DVD movies.  You need to install a Windows Media Center (no player) or a 3rd party application.

I recommend VLC - a free, open-source media player.  It will play DVD files immediately after installation.  Additional measures must be taken if you have a Blu - Ray player on your device.
