No versionCode or versionName in manifest.xml

I look at what BMPS in the AndroidManifest.xml file.

I specified a versionCode and an versionName in my file config.xml. However, it seems that these elements are missing in the AndroidManifest.xml file generated. Read the doc of Studio Android, it seems it's the Gadle add these attributes.

Can someone confirm that the BMP is not output versionCode and versionName in AndroidManifest.xml?

Hi, I have finally solved the mystery :-) I want to thank everyone on this thread to help you.

  • I was checking the presence of the versionCode in the AndroidManifest.xml file decoding my .apk with apktool file. The element manifest what, never had an attribute android: versionCode.
  • It was a mistake. I finally made a check with AAPT (with the aapt dump badging test.apkcommand) and it gives me a versionCode.

It seems that everything works fine. Just do not use apktool to verify that I did.

For the record, it seems that BMPS concatenates a 8 to your version number (eg. 10 will become 108).

  • Manifest XML file is missing

I captured an application I want to convey to my users. I created it giving access to everyone. When I tried to run the exe file in the BIN directory, I get a pop-up error box titled file manifest XML is not present and a error message cannot find an application file valid deployment manifest \\server\share\app.exe cannot continue.
I tried the two top options when you create the files (don't remember the exact wording, but the 2nd was for USB keys).

If I understand the guides, I can't run thinreg if I want to hear, but could be wrong on that. This error is - something to do with thinapps, or the actual application that I am capturing?

  • Cannot change the manifest.xml in Builder flash builder extension 2.1

In flash builder, I installed the extension 2.1 generator to build an extension of photoshop. Database structure automatically created the manifest.xml file but I can't edit this file in the editor, and if I change outside of the flash builder does not reflect the changes.

What I want is to add an icon for my extension.

    SOLVED!

    ===========

When you create an extension extension Adobe Builder with Flash Builder 4.6 adobe project, a ".stage-extension" folder is created but do not appear in the Directory tab of Package Explorer. However, the file manifest.xml in the bin-debug folder is shown giving the impression it could be changed.

To edit the manifest.xml file, navigate to the location of your project and find: YourPorjectName > .stage-extension > CSXS > manifest.xml

Edit the manifest.xml for the changes to apply.

  • Extension Manager CS6 manifest.xml error

I am under Photoshop CS6 (34 to 64-bit versions) on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I tried to install an extension, but I get the following error:

Cannot install the Extension of the Creative Suite "C:\Users\***\Downloads\com.dkagency.velositey.zxp". Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the extension manager recognizes at least a product that supports the extension.

I uninstalled the extension manager and reinstalled (with the correct version of my software) and I still get the error. I installed other extensions and you have not had any problems with them. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions/advice on how to solve this problem.

    Thank you

This message was originally the Extension Manager CS6 - rather than CC. In addition, as it was completely not recommended for 2015 CC, please do NOT use the extensions for CC 2015 facilities Manager.

There is only one set of icons for both normal and high resolution displays. Copy the icons images high resolution, so that they are clear on both normal and high resolution displays.

  • How to Package Extension of Photoshop cs4/cs5 with manifest.xml

    Hello

TL; Dr: How can I present my extension for cs4 and cs5 in a way that respects the geometry of the window extension?

I have a panel that specifies the geometry of the window in its manifest.xml. When the Panel is installed in Photoshop panels / folder, the geometry is ignored, so I'll try to package the Panel as an extension to install via the extensions Manager. I ran into different issues for each version of CS. I read a certain PDF format on the extensions, UCF command line package manager, etc. and have not been able to find a solution that works for both platforms.

    My understaning

My trial and error research has lead me to understand that the extension files must eventually end by in the (mac) / Library/Application Support/Adobe / < CSversion > ServiceManager/extensions/directory. In CS5, if the extension folder contains a manifest.xml file (ex: extensions/GuideGuide/CSXS/manifest.xml) that specifies the geometry of the window, Photoshop will meet this geometry of the window when the Panel opens. However, in CS4, it does not. In my tests, Photoshop CS4 does not seem to do anything with the file manifest.xml. Instead, I had to edit/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/ServiceManifest.xml and add my extension to its content. Once I did, Photoshop CS4 launches my Panel and respect its window geometry.

The problem is that it is a manual installation. I can't ask my users to rummage through their system files to install my Panel. In addition, since it is unsigned by using this method, it will not work if they are not marked for debugging. I began to explore using the extensions Manager, but I ran into problems that I can't find ansers some PDFs on the packaging that I could find.

    CS5 problems

If I use the UCF command-line tool, I can package and sign my file. He moved very well and does what I want. However, using this method, I have not been able to find a way to specify the author and description that appears in the extensions Manager.

    Problems with CS4

UCF command-line tool does not seem that the packages that can be installed with CS4 and I could not find one that is compatible. I had to use the extension manager to package my extension based on a .mxi file. The problem I have here is the installation of files in this way to limit myself to put in the directory panels, which then causes the Panel to ignore the geometry of the window. Is it possible with a .mxi file to install in the/Library/Application Support/Adobe/< CSversion > ServiceManager/extensions/lib/and edit the file/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/ServiceManifest.xml?

There must be, because Kuler and other extensions are installed.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I spent weeks trying to get this to work and have met nothing but dead ends and prosecutions of wild goose.

In manifest.xml to extension CSXS, 'Author' and 'Abstract' tags can be used to specify the name of the author and the description of the extension. Here is an example:

    Adobe Systems Incorporated

    [email protected]"/ >

    http://www.Adobe.com">

This is the description of the extension

    ]]>

    ......

The extensions created by UCF command-line tool can be recognized by CS4 as the format has changed. It is impossible to install regular extensions to/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ServiceManager/extensions/directory. The extensions Manager does not provide any way to edit the file/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/ServiceManifest.xml, either.

  • Halo - manifest.xml

What happened to this file? I looked everywhere for it and I can't find it in the framework / should be verified several of the open source versions of branch here and I see in the log files that it was modified, but still the physical file is not the case to be seen.

Did I miss something, other than this file? Heh, if someone could put that would be a great help.

A bit of everything in one of the halo refactors got renamed "mx". So, if you check the flex-config. XML

    http://opensource.Adobe.com/svn/opensource/Flex/SDK/trunk/frameworks/flex-config.XML

And look up the namespace mapping

library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx (which used to be "halo") you will see that the manifest file also got renamed to mx-manifest.xml.And that can be found here

  • Manifest.xml change model?

I use a series of modules that I've created, Captivate 3, and SumTotal LMS. Whenever I publish a SCORM module, I have to go and edit the manifest by hand to remove the bar of Navigation of SumTotal. I started thinking that there must be a better way. (Takes me awhile, but I'm here.) I think that I figured it out, but I wanted to check with the experts on this forum before I did to make sure I wasn't going to "break" anything.

In the Adobe Captivate\Templates\Publish folder, there is a file named manifest.xml. Can I simply edit this file and then not having to modify individual files manifest? I think that if I change this file when I publish a module, he'd understand my changes, right?

In addition, there is another file named manifest2004.xlm? What it is?

    Hi Karin

As long as you do not delete or change the existing entries and expected, I think you should be fine. Definitely a way to test would be to save a backup copy of Virgin, make your mods, and then create an output.

With respect to the other file, my guess is it's probably somewhere I open backup the in Windows Notepad and see what is inside.

  • Invalid error Manifest.xml

    Hello

I try to install the Panel of TKAction of the Tony Kuyper an extension through Adobe Extension Manager CC on Mac and spin the error in the screenshot below. I had installed this extension correctly on Photoshop CS5 and wanted to migrate to Photoshop CC, do you have any suggestions on a work-around?

With extensions in CS5 Flash based. Flash has been removed from Photoshop. You will need to find updates for these extensions. The manifest required for CS5 and CC are completely different, it is not surprising that you get this error.

  • why I get a failure to load the extension following manifest.xml problem.
