No visible tab at startup
I have tabs on the top and am used to having a tab for my visible start to the start page. Win2K and XP, Bu tnow, I find that under Sindows 7, the start page displays ok, but no tab is visible.
If I click on the leftmost button Firefox to ask two tabs, one tab becomes visible, the fist for my homepage a d the next is the empty tag, I asked.
With no visible tag, I use this method diverted me to a new tag.
I used Windows 7 only occasionally, but I don't remember what it used to behave this way before I updated to version 12.
Make sure that the option "Always show the bar tab" is selected as described in this article-> tab Preferences and settings
Check and tell if its working.

At the start, I want to focus on the tab on the very good. By default, firefox focuses on the left tab when opening multiple tabs at startup.
Subject: solution of config?
tab-mixplus does not helpNot that I know of.

New start tab at startup screen
I would like Firefox to display the splash screen new tab at startup. I could so he can open a new tab at the start but it's a new empty tab and not the grid base new tab when I usually have to open a new tab.
I am comfortable in the topic: config if there is a setting that I can change.
You would need to do on: newtab homepage and enter firefox as an autostarter (don't know if you can do with the work system).

Flash Pro CC, how to enable ' open previously opened tabs at startup.
Hi, I'm using Flash Pro CC: building 15.0.0.173
I'm developing flash games and usually have 5 + tabs open in my coding time.
Whenever I run flash cc pro, do not show my open tabs (I'm not talking about opening them manually from the file - > open recent)
My question is "is it possible to automatically open my previous tabs at startup.
I checked edit-> Preferences tab and couldn't find an option like that.
Best regards

I don't think that this feature is available in Adobe animate CC again. You can request a feature by using the feature request/Bug Report Form

Why when I open Firefox it opens a tab 'Options '. I did nothing to cause this. May not know how to stop it?
Thank you
DennisYou can check the setting of the homepage:
- Tools > Options > general > startup: Homepage
Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol (pipe).
If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

How can I stop the Firefox tabs at startup loading?
Last month, I got a new computer, previously, I had no problems with Firefox. Now, when I run Firefox, it loads the 6 tabs that I used my first session of using Firefox, which is annoying espcially because it autoplays a YouTube page. I want my home page to launch at startup.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
- C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
The folder "AppData" in Windows Vista and later versions of window 7 + and the folder "Application Data" in XP/Win2K are hidden folders.

When I updated Firefox to version 32, he started to always show my tabs in the last session when it is started. I tried to change the "Startup of Firefox" option to all three of the available choices. None of them changed the behavior. It nevertheless opens the tabs that were open last. I waited for the next version (33.0.3), but the behavior is always the same. I would like Firefox to open my home page selected.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro.One possibility is that Firefox hangs during shutdown, and so Firefox is recovering from an accident each time. But if you can see it stop normally in your tests, which probably isn't.
Software sometimes external will create or update an optional parameters file named user.js. For some reason, one of the things that often turns in there is a preference to restore your previous session at once. However, because Firefox uses user.js to override your normal parameters, whenever it starts, which then turns into a permanent change. To check this and remove any file user.js, you find, try this technical support article: How to fix preferences that will not save.
A little luck?

I need to make the tab visible band, not hide it. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox. Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Thank you
Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).
If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse to the top of the screen to facilitate the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.
Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

Collapses Firefox to open all the tabs at startup.
After trying all the suggestions on the config and make many changes of setting, nothing worked. I was about to get rid of Firefox and come back to find out (ugg) when I checked to see if all my Add-ons are updated.
JAVA was apparently not aware. So I've updated and is no longer in the face of all the old tabs when I run Firefox.
It begins with a CLEAN PAGE.You still have a problem with Firefox or you solve your problems?
These problems can be caused by putting the tabs as many home pages or possibly have a framework where the session restore kicks in.
You can check the setting of the homepage:
- Tools > Options > general > startup: Homepage
Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol (pipe).
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.
Also, make sure that Firefox is closing properly.

Firefox open my home page AND a new tab at startup. Help
When I open Firefox, it opens my homepage (Google) and a new tab. How do I simply open my homepage?
What is the value of the browser.startup.homepage pref on the topic: config page?
You can open the topic: config page via the bar of address and you can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Recently in this week when I open Firefox, it automatically a new tab will open and load Bing. It initially only charge my previous tabs and active only one I showed last time. He is still near enough the same thing, with that I read during my last visit activated, but it opens then Bing.
I do not pay attention to him the first time, I just suspect since I have never used Bing (a little hate M$ to start) so it would not be my last site visited. I checked it and it's the real Bing and not a site of phishing a virus and simply closed the tab. I started to get annoyed by the third time, so I got in: config and remove all the returned results Bing. Only two of them and none seems to matter at all to my current situation. I made sure that google is my search provider only, closed the browser and restarted, Bing does not pop up at the time so I thought that I'm fine. But the next day, same thing happened again and have no subject result: config with Bing. My home page is a blank page, and my new tab page is the default Firefox (with google and some sites I've pinned it.)
I have a few plugins and add-on installed, but none is related to Bing, and I installed all of them long enough so it does not appear to be a recent plugin which me screwed. And no, I'm not stupid enough to have Bing bar installed and not noticed.I did a search my remarks: support page and he gave no 'Bing' results, and the results to "Seek" returned 2, Tineye and google scholar.
Only that I addons for Microsoft's sharepoint and lync. This thread on the forum, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1038882, seems to be the closest to my situation, but none of the answers provided.
If I open another Firefox window, it goes to the Firefox start page. Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to solve this problem.
