  I created a text input in my captivate lesson areas for the learner to write and think, but they are not part of a blade of Captivate Quiz. Is it possible to always report on inputs and that the learner writes in these boxes? My LMS is the key.

  I could report to Blackboard, see the entry on a BER, but not sure that this is the case for all LMS.

• Tab key does not work for text input areas in Captivate 3

  I'm building a software simulation of training where I am using text input boxes.  Some use the enter as a shortcut key, some use the tab key.  Those who use the keys work well, failure caption works by forced entry when you press Enter, it advances to the next screen.  Those who use the Tab key does not at all.  The legend of failure does not work and the Tab key does not advance to the next screen.  I compared to those that work and those that don't work and I see no difference.  I set the text entry box to pause at the end of the slide so that it should not be a problem here.  I even tried to have the action 'to success"to be continue rather than go to the next slide and use a click box using the Tab key as a shortcut to move to the next screen - nothing helps!  Is it possible that the Tab key could have been turned off somehow?  I'm totally at a loss, please help!

  I suffer from the same issue that I found posted anywhere on the internet this morning - my Contacts list is illegible because the text is barely visible, as if the map is too small for the space allowed.

  I have:
  My cache of dumping
  Played with the zoom and CTRL - sets all the text to view, but at this time, it is too small to read.
  Checked the section tools/options/content - minimum size fonts the value 'none', web sites set their own sizes.
  All my browsers / add ons etc are up to date
  It looks fine in IE, but I don't use IE

  What else is there?

  Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

  • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); 0 + Command on Mac)

• Sticky notes appearing as an icon only. Non-visible text

  I have Acrobat DC 2015.016.20041 and all comments have become not selectable and do not display the text. If I insert a new note of sticky notes, it shows the details but all the 'old' is not visible.

  Post-it notes top note is the new, but others do not. Image 1 below.

  A friend has the document open in another program (not Adobe) and they can see the comments. Image 2 below.

  I am using Captivate 4.

  I have a training course of the system where we require students to enter the date in BER.  After the date is entered, I want that Captivate to move to the next slide.  For example, on the screen 1, learner seizes '060510', then Captivate should advance to the next slide.

  I can do Captivate work very well with the menus text: for example, if the learner takes the correct menu item 'A', so I can put the shortcut to A key that causes Captivate to move to the next slide right now and very well.  But I can't figure out how to make this work with dates.  Any suggestions?

  I can explain why this works, but if I have the key set of shortcut input box text to be using 0 the ' or number: "drop-down list field, then both digital keypad and keyboard work for me.  If I set to include numberic keyboard, then select Numpad 0 AC doesn't work both ways.

  Try to use only the 0 in the number of drop-Numberic keyboard include unchecked.

  today I started Skype and noticed that there is a strange bar next to my text entry box... picking up a massive amount of space where my text should be, almost half my typing space. It's really annoying. Of course, I could just expand my Skype chat, but I'd rather have as compact as possible as I tend to have a lot of different windows open at the same time.

  Is the location of the extra bar (images, files, videos, etc.) intentional? Because it seems very misplaced right there in the middle of nowhere. I don't mind not existing, but I don't mind where it is, and I'd rather be able to have a possibility to call it not see at all or the road above or below my entry box.

  I can reproduce this behavior, but only when the accessibility mode.

  Open tools-> Options-> advanced-> accessibility. Make sure that this mode is not enabled. Save the settings.

• How can I have a variable as default text in a text input area?

  No, you can't control what is displayed in BER. In the latest version of Captivate 8, this is possible when you use the interaction of scrolling text (TextArea) as an alternative. For SWF-output, Captivatedev (Jim Leichliter) had a widget, but it is out of business. Isn't the 'default text' you enough?

• How do I need input in a text input area?

  I ask students to name their coach of FEZ and their supervisors. The two fields (text boxes) must be completed before they can proceed with the course. I'm not validate these fields. Any suggestions on how I can make these fields?

  I, like so many others, can't see the text I type when the use of the typewriter or the tool text box.  Is there a fix yet?

  I saw a post earlier where George (?) said to establish a registry dopacity to "1".  I did, but it keeps defaulting to 0.005.  Is there another setting in Adobe I forget?

  Place the cursor inside the text box, press Ctrl + e. This will bring up the properties of text in text box where you can change the color of the text (maybe is he White right now).

  Yes, numbered TEB recognize decimals. You can use a normal TEB, without restriction to the numbers.

  Hi, I have a text with a validation of user input, I have a group above that TEV thatžs and show or hide according to the click of a button, on both situations, hide or show, that the s of entry text below the flashing of the Group keep´s, I tried some shots, without a bit of luck.

  • Created two text input area. (does not work)

  • Created a clickbox. (does not work);

  • Change the tab order. (does not work);

  If I have an object on top of the TEB, it must be hidden until I hide the object that s a fact, right?

  

  I use a script to hide the visibility of the object, fixed through css.

  I am to complete an E-Learning courses in Adobe Captivate 8. Everything goes well.
