Norton 360

I'm a little confused about all these different security programs, I thought that have different programs would lead to conflicts and dysfunctions. If this is true, there are those to avoid installing norton 360.

Do you think that norton slows down your pc more than most of the other security

YES!
For example, here are the configuration required for Norton and the best free antivirus.

Norton 2010 minimum requirements: 300 Mhz processor or better, 512MB RAM or better, 200 MB of free disk space. http://www.Symantec.com/Norton/AntiVirus

Avast! 5 (I recommend this one) minimum requirements: 233 Mhz processor, 128 MB of RAM or better, 100 MB of free disk space. http://www.hwdot.com/avast-5-free-antivirus-available-for-download/ Download Avast! 5 here: http://www.avast.com/en-CA/free-antivirus-download

Avast! 5 has a detection rate of 98.6% (according to comparative av) of Norton 99.2% (according to Norton). The difference is not worth $ 30 - $60 per year (especially when you include how norton slows down a system so you would be almost better with a virus).

I hope this helps.
