Norton works or not?

Product has pre-installed Norton Internet Security of 2 month trial. Has chosen to occur during the first round to the top of the computer. Norton seems to work fine, with a firewall, antivirus and antispyware all indicated as 'ON' in the screens of Norton but HP support both State Windows Action Center that no antivirus or antispyware firewall protection is active.  By clicking on "Turn On" in the Center doe action does not have any effect or change the warnings. So THE QUESTION IS HOW can I DETERMINE whether OR NOT the SECURITY IS ENABLED ON CETTE MACHINE?   Only changes made to the computer are installations/updates from HP, Microsoft, and Symantec

Try the following.

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.

In the run box type regsvr32 /u WMIUTILS. DLL and press ENTER.        (Include the spaces as shown)

Restart the laptop.

Yet once, from the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.

In the run box, type regsvr32 WMIUTILS. DLL and press ENTER.

Restart the computer again and let Windows take over completely for 5 minutes before checking the Action Center.

    I had the same problem in the past. If you call customer Norton service toll-free they have always helped me start (without charges) when I have updated to a new version of Firefox - seems to happen every time even if I run the updates regularly.     You can ignore this error message. This error message does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to function correctly.

    Norton Toolbar 2013.4.1.2 is disabled and there is no option to turn it on. I've updated my Norton 360 with all latest updates. Norton site says that it has updated its software to be compatible with Firefox 23.

    Finally solved my problem. I had to uninstall and reinstall Norton 360 and when I updated and rebooted I had the last Norton Toolbar, v2012.4.2.2

    For some reason any before the re-setup of Norton 360 my Norton Toolbar would not be up to date to the latest version. V2012.4.1.2 Norton Toolbar is not compatible with Firefox v23.0.1

    At least now I have my Norton Toolbar with Firefox.

    I have updated to a couple of my iOS devices (iPhone 6 and iPad Air) iOS 10, actually 10.1 public beta 1 now, but find the results obtained in the search of my library of ~ 5000 photos and videos quite modest.

    I very rarely get the images I'm looking for, if any.

    For example, 'find my photos from the Netherlands' Returns none so I have 122 in my library.

    In the meantime, FYI Apple has released the iOS 10.0.2 update that solves the problem of geotags.

    I can now find my photos from the low countries (or Switzerland or India also) and get the correct results.

    After installing I could like comment add to playlist, before the snap all the addons, but I could only play HTML5 in youtube, any video that had no HTML5 support required at adobe. (after that I installed adobe it worked until I restarted the browser).

    Maybe a recent system update has reset your system preferences > General > recent items to zero.

    Type a number (for example, 10);

    Quit the system preferences;

    Leave the Pages then revive Pages;

    Open some documents to repopulate open the recent item.

    Any improvement?

    If no improvement, shut down your computer and restart.

    "Recent articles" are at the level of the system and refers to other applications, not just the Pages.
