Not applied background image

I saw several times now in Dreamweaver and don't know what to do with him. It's probably a newbie from me thing.

On a page, I have a structure like

section

header

hgroup

/hgroup

/ Header

/ section

When I try to add a background image to the section #masthead nothing appears in Dreamweaver, but if I switch to a text editor such as coda or Textmate the background image is there.

Any ideas why this happens?

When you use html5 in dw, the process of "debug" is (or should be) one would use a bit different from the normal procedure.

Always test first live view. If it works, then, it's dw Design view not implemented functionality
If the live mode view does not move the css elements code until the next parent div, it checks if the code works. If you can 'see' the effect in doing so the code is o/k, if not
Check your code for errors of syntax/specificity and repeat the above.

Same problem here. There was no picture printing problem until the upgrade. Now, they won't print and it's ruin how I run my entire business. Image logo printing on the packaging of the lists, codes bars printing of shipping labels. I deleted the cache and restarted. I also tried other browsers and is it not the problem.

Visible in the preview, not when background images uploaded

Hello to all, I design my first website using Dreamweaver CS4 - after using GoLive CS for much too long, I'm finally doing the switch. I must say that I learn a lot and everything is fine. The only thing that I really can't understand right now is why two of my background images not displayed when I download this page on the web. The page is here: http://www.delovelyfarm.com/localinfo
The middle line of the table, where he is currently completely red, should have a vertical stretch background similar to the line at the bottom (the body cream color with a white edge). The path is Images/bkgd_body.gif. The left column has a different chart, similar, but with a decoration of vine specifically for behind the menu. The path for that one is Images/bkgd_menu.gif
I know that the paths are often a problem, but I'm sure that's not the problem here. Everything appears fine when I saw. Can anyone help? Thank you!

You should see that the "i" is lowercase. Some servers rename files for the lowercase version of the name of the file/folder.

The Explorer starts do not, the Task Manager does not, just background image and cursor.

Last night my Windows did 18 updates. This morning I started my computer opens the browser and my computer is stuck. I tried, but I couldn't get it to work again. So I reset it. Batch does not apply ACR image settings

I am aware that this has been posted, but all the related messages are filled with too many ancient ambiguity, so I was hoping to create a simple thread with a simple answer.
At 30 photos (JPG)
Open them in camera raw in bridge (CTRL-R), change them accordingly, application of different cultures, saturation, exhibitions
Click done
Then start a new record in photoshop
Select an image, I edited, open in camera raw (Image settings Yes is checked)
Open this image (Oh hey look at my record, it's all my specific values published for this image, recording is not good but I will continue)
Resize
Save
Close
While many stations have asked before... why, when I run this batch, all my image settings follow the first, why they cannot follow their respective raw image settings?

When you open the original raw images to save the workflow settings, they open in Photoshop or bridge?

The best way to save the workflow settings (which is the ONLY thing you want to record) is to start recording the action and then open a raw directly in Photoshop (no bridge) change NOT the image settings, open the image in Photoshop, use the procedure of PS, save as and close and stop recording... so yes do not ensure that you choose the commands "Open" Override Action to ignore the registered open process and use only registered workflow settings and Yes, you must select override Action "save under" to make sure that you ignore the save options destination format and use only the saved file...

Why my Firefox browser does not change its background image when I change the theme or personas

When changing the theme or personas, I'm only able to get the top menu, tab bar and the bottom menu to change to picture the theme/personas, but not the background image. I try to change a lot of theme and personas and even useless.

My origins are still white no matter how long I have to change. Any help?

Opacity CSS for background images.

Hey all,.
I tried to make my image background on a little transparent Dreamweaver using the opacity function, just as I would just by doing the same thing to an image. Is there a reason why it works for a standard image and not a background image? Here is my code anyway incase I'm just wrong.

Impossible to get background images is displayed in the bar of menus spry published

I worked on this all day the problem started with the bullets, showing instead of the menu, once that was solved (thanks to awesome posters). the menus are now show, but are not the background images that I attached to it. Since the last update to dream my 100% width background images do not appear in chrome when I apply scroll effects. Does anyone else have this problem? They work on all other platforms, but not chrome. I talked with adobe and they said basically their cant be a problem on their end because no one else has not complained.

Could not apply the background image available to the Group Panel in demand for space

I tried to apply the background image available to the Group Panel class css as well as with the style inline like below

Windows xp monitor does not display the background image

My windows xp screen does not show the background image. Started when I changed the photos there twice. Now, the background image is only 1/4 of the image on the left 1/4 of the screen. The rest is white for 3/4 on the right side.

Other images, all jpg files, are the same.

Check that your post office is set to stretch. Perform the following steps.
1. Right-click on an empty space on the desktop.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select the Desktop tab
4. Change the setting to Stretch under Position
5. Click on apply
6. Click OK

Center the div in parent div Background Image and not the whole page

I am trying to Center a background image, I have inserted as create a div via the new css rule and will have questions centering correctly on the page. I would it is centered at the top of the page contet - left area of the page content, and it seems that the background image is ignorant parent his div and is centering the page-level. It's a problem because its parent div that 2/3 of the page, therefore covers, in question background image is cropped.

In other words, I insert a div tag and add a background image so that I can place the content above it, however, the background image seems to be centered in the entire page and not simply within the Division 'parent' in design mode, everything is centered, however, in direct mode, the background image is offset. I can't really explain for good so I made another video.
Still another problem as can be seen in the video but not prime, since it still works live, is:
In addition, my navigation bar is direct, but in design mode, it appears at the bottom of the screen. I did fix the position, then he stuck on the right side, so I added a margin of 700px to go right once again, I guess that the problem is due to this.
I have boldened which, in my view, are source code target areas and css to quickly reduce down, but everything included because I am not knowledgeable enough to know what is relevant or not, I could (and likely) wrong.
Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured out how do. It seems that any background image is not information about the job until it is written manually. This line seems to do the trick.

Fixed background image wanted not

Hi all
I'm having a problem that left me speechless. I have a background image applied to a div, and although I haven't specified anywhere in the css for this image to be fixed position, it does not scroll with the rest of the text. I tried to apply css background-attachment scroll etc, but nothing moves.

You have the scrolling div positioned absolutely. It is this div that has the background image. Scroll its content, but because the div is positioned absolutely, the background does not scroll. That's the problem.

This whole layout will break anyway since you have frequently in the foreground text aligned with background images. Migrate one or two on display size for the text in the browser creates messy overlap...

You might consider using an iframe for this area of Central scroll rather than absolute positioning div...
