Not first 2015.3 no audio in MOV files

I have an existing project from 2015 first with MOV files in it. Everything was good in the world until that blasted creative cloud persistently told me to go to 2015.3 so I held. After the upgrade to the first 2015.3 decided not to move the audio in MOV files. I installed Quicktime. And as said before everything worked fine in the previous version of first. I tried to use Media encoder to change the type of file, but it doesn't recognize too much audio in MOV files. What gives Adobe?

Hi bubbachubby,

  • No audio in MOV files imported into PE 4

I transferred to my computer (a PC running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit) a video project shot by a friend who is a professional filmmaker. It converts video files its original MXF files mov using Acrok MXF Converter. Conversion divide the original 29 files MOV video are all less than 1 GB each. When I click on any of these files in my computer, the file opens and plays in Windows Media Player. Great video and audio. No problem. However, when I import these files into first Elements 4 (get the media > files and folders, etc.) and put them in the timeline, there is no audio track.

If I click on the properties of one of the files listed in the project of PE4 field, the list of properties said that there is an audio track:

    > Audio track 1 contains 1 or audio data types

    > Audio datablock #1

    > Format = 16 bit - stereo

    > Rate - 1.0000 Hz (it's the only thing that seems a little weird. Should be 48 000 or 44 100 Hz)

    > Compressor = MPEG-4 low complexity AAC

    Suggestions?

    The answer is probably

1 first Elements 4 cannot correctly interpret the file

In the meantime, I learned that my filmmaker friend got inadvertently files with a 5.1 surround sound. Obviously Windows Media Player can recognize and play this audio, but not PE 4.

He converted a test file, I downloaded and tested in the project of PE. The audio track appears and plays.

    Thanks for the help.

  • First Pro CS5 pixelation with T2i .mov files

    Thanks for the great information!

    Here's my scenario...

    • Windows 7 64 bit family

    • Intel quad core processor

    • Nvidia Geforce Gt240 graphics card

    • 8 GB of ram

    • G - tech g-raid0 drive 2 TB (for image storage)

    • WD Caviar Green 500 GB (OS Win764bit & amp; applications)

    • WD 250 GB usb 2.0 external drive (for backup)

    • First Pro CS5 (prod prem) modded to enable nvidia gt240 graphics card be used with the Mercury playback engine

    Backstory:

    I shot a short film of 2 weeks using a Canon Rebel T2i at 1080 p 24 with shutter speed 1/50.

At the end of the first day of shooting, I had to transfer the .mov footage off the coast of the Trandcend 16 gb class 10 memory cards with card reader Kingston for the Raid. I used a legacy firewire card connected to the aforementioned PC (it's all I got for the firewire connection at the time), and I noticed that the file transfer has been extremely slow. So for the next two days after I transferred the rest of the video on the Raid via USB 2.0 and the other files transferred much faster.

Play the images using VLC Media Player is well most of the time, but sometimes I see for about 5 frames pixel information is lost. It is not rolling shutter or jello. Part of the pixelated frame strongly for all 5 to 10 frames. I don't know if it's the loss of data on these images? I agree with a few images here or there, I can work around it if I have to...

    The problem:

I used the DSLR 1080 p 24 preset to set up sequences of the first Pro CS5 project. After you import the images above, reading in two preview windows randomly is pixelated, similar to the effect of VLC, but random parts. For the most part, VLC is compatible with the management of the problem. Whenever I start the first it will be Pixelize frames in different places than before. Sometimes when I run first first is good, then after a few readings, it starts to distort. After management problem for the current session, the pixelation appears in the clips that have the green status bar. Also, sometimes (randomly) some of the clips in the timeline panel have green waves at the bottom of them, or are completely green.

I tested the raw images in VLC, WMP, Media Player Classic (after you temporarily install KLite hoping to solve the problem). The problem that all .mov files seem to Pixelize the same framework of each player. First, but pixilated times randomly.

Tried with two mpeg streamclip and even with cineform neoscene U transcoding. Same results.

I have not been able to narrow down what is the problem. Any ideas?

    Thank you very much.

The problem is resolved. My cache of media was written to my local hard drive (c :)), a WD Caviar Green 500 GB. It turns less 7200 RPM, as it is friendly green. After clearing the cache and redirect the path to the raid 0 drive 7200 RPM, the media reads in the timeline smoothly without pixelation. A high technology, Adobe has helped me solve this problem after a lot of troubleshooting. Thank you!

  • What happened to the audio from .mov files in Windows Live Movie Maker?

I'm running on Windows Vista Edition family 64-bit.  Recently, I downloaded Windows Live Movie Maker and have been playing with it.  Can I import my camera Kodak .mov files.  However, when I saw or save the movie, there is no audio or the audio has been accelerated so fast, you won't hear scratching noises.  Other videos work properly.  It's just the .mov files.  Can I do to solve this problem?

  • First Elements 10 will recognize the MOV files?

I have a new EOS 60 d Canon camera.  First Elements 10 will recognize the. The videos are stored in the MOV file?

You are looking in the wrong place - sharing settings. The recommendations that I gave you are for the setting of the project you use when you set first to the top of your project.

You will know if the setting is correct when you add your clips to the timeline. If there is a red bar across the upper part of the clip you are using the wrong project setting.

    See you soon,.

  • Export flash .mov file but audio is deleted

    Hi all

I am responsible for creating a video that will be hosted on youtube so needs to be a recognizable movie file format. But the film is essentially just text and images, so I thought that Flash would be the best forum.

I created my animation, it has exported as a .mov using the file > export > export videos > option and he plays well, but missed the audio included. The published swf file manages the audio fine.

The audio file is a .wav file. In the library, I clicked on properties and I can change compression ADPCM I read can work but alas no, same results.

Exporting video and sound in the video export option flash can? If not, what other packet recommend important this .mov file and adding sound? Anyone encountered this?

SWF to video converters are around but expensive (without watermark) and very buggy so I prefer a solution creative suite. I use a Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated that this project is in a crisis!

    Thank you, Steve.

    Hi Steve,.

You can also set your audio 'Stream' under the 'Sync' option in the properties.  Then he will export with the Mov to image1.  When the audio is set to 'Event', it will not be exported if it is on the first image, as if you've discovered.

  • MOV files do not work on my PC more

I'm not able to play on my PC MOV files more. I get an error with Quicktime indicating a bad Atom 2002 PC worked until recently without any problem and now does not work. I can convert the files, but I don't want to have to pay for a converter when there is a software conflict between Apple and Microsoft

A solution around getting Mov files to work is to abandon the Microsoft product initially and use player VLC can convert from there, it seems a player of the test of the bombs as he doesn't care if it is a format of Apple or Microsoft.

  • Mono .mov files change stereo (Canon 5 d Mark II).

I recorded a bunch of video files with my 5 d mark II. They all have a good right channel, but one left empty channel (the mono microphone configuration) so I hear audio on one side.

What I need is to fix these video files so that I can deliver to a person from editing so it can let go them on the files there already (since the Assembly is quite well done). So I can not just extract the audio and give him as distinct from WAV files or something, I need to insert the audio in MOV files. Some clips will have some removal of SSIH done as well.

I know the first OK, but am really new to Soundbooth and Audition, and cannot find a way to make it work. I managed to get the Audition to a .mov file, but it downsampled 1080 p in 720 p making (and took forever).

Any ideas anyone? Is there a FAQ or how-to, I'm missing?

Thanks for any ideas or pointers,

    -greg.

    Greg,

Is another editor using Premiere Pro as well, or something like FCP? Because 'fix' files in CS5 will not really work if the editing is done, even if you paste in CS5. Suggestion of David of remapping channels audio is a good, but you can do with clips that have already been used in a sequence, and it changes nothing on the source - only how files whose main elements are interpreted.

If the other editor is using CS5, check out the Audio effects complete; There is a left "fill" and a version of "Fill right" that work with stereo audio. When used on a clip that is in place in a sequence, it copies the audio from one channel to another, essentially do what source channel remapping done after the fact. You can select all your clips in your sequence requiring this remapping and apply the effect to each of them at a time.

Yet once, it will not work unless you work only in CS5. If I'm struggling to understand what you are trying to reach, please inform...

  • First CC 2015 - 5.1 audio export is not possible

    Hello community,

we are a trailer, production company de Berlin. We are working with Avid et worked in the past with Final assembly. However, we want to replace completely Final Cut with Adobe Software now. But there is a problem which is disableing this intention. We cannot get a 5.1 out of our timeline.

We usually work with Apple ProRess formats. To create un 5.1 mix we did in first with mono tracks of the DME seems simple:

    • creating a sequence of 5.1
    • ( the value of each mono channel on book of the 6 tracks () L, R, C, LF, Ls, Rs).
    • Pan
    • and

So far, so good. The master to display in the audio mixer panel shows, all right, and each channel works. But the it comes now as first or Media Encoder will not export this sequence into 5.1 5.1 channels, because the 5.1 option is simply not appearing in the audio export window - for example to Qick time ProRess QT 422. I have a picture attached. It's a big problem for us, we cannot work this way. So, maybe someone has some advice, what do we do wrong? I tested it on my old Version of CS 5.5 at home, and here, everything was fine.

    Thanks for your help,

    Hi Richard,

I managed to export the file with six simple mono tracks (checked in Cup final Cinema Tools). But I need 1 track with 6 channels and not a 6-track 1-channel. These files are for customer deliveries...

In any case, I was able now to get a first/Media Encoder file that seems to be OK (I have to check by sound guys). I went to "uncompressed" audio export and when I click again on the channel options 5.1 option appears. But it only works with uncompressed th put... with nothing else. Seems that this applies to any codec in Quicktime format... I can only choose a 5.1 output channels for export, when I put the audio codec just to "uncompressed". Is this normal?

  • First 2015.3. No audio in mp4

After import mp4 no audio. I tried to rename folder Max, but it did not help me. First 9.2 all perfect work with no bugs. When bugs fixed?

Try to import your files via the media browser.

The route of the cache folder has not worked for me either.  Missed me the audio streams on files that have been simply exported to a chronology of the first 2015.3 via Media Encoder.  I then remembered that the records are treated differently when they are imported with Media Browser.  Here are my results:

You can see that, when imported through Media Browser, the audio file does a good job.  But when imported in any other way, the same exact file is missing its audio stream.  I hope this helps!

  • First question Audio Pro CC on Mov files

    Hey there,

I have a problem here that I've never seen before and it does not make sense to me.

I have a project with a lot of clips and different sequences to organize them. Two sequences are equal, and I try to add a clip to two of them. Same video, different but (apart from the name) equal to sequences. Somehow, in a single sequence that I can import the video without problem, audio and video appear in my calendar after dragging the applicant, all normal. On the other hand of the sequences, the fable disappears. If I try to grab the clip to the small 'audio only' icon under the sourcemonitor, I can't file in this sequence either. It seems to be a problem only with the mov files, and since it is not my images I blamed the codec. But, now, knowing that in some sequences, it works but other CA makes me lose my mind here.

I use first Pro CC 8.1 on a hackintosh, yosemite OS X

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Lucas

PS: I only post an image of sequencing, because I have against them and they are exactly the same.

    LukeBildschirmfoto 2015-05-27 um 17.26.54.png

    Hi Luke,.

Make sure you have your tracks audio source patches in the timeline panel. Source patches are the first column of gray or blue boxes at the left end of the timeline, labeled V1, V2, A1, A2, and so on. If the checkbox is dimmed, the tracks are not patches for the video of the selected source and the part of the clip will not be published in the sequence; If it is blue, this means that the source is patched. This is true for the drag-and-drop and editing and modification of keyboard/AC button.
