It worked well on the latest version, but it seems that ThinkVantage System Update uses a different installer now, that does not account for this command line.

  If you have the application open phone or music or media and you press the volume button the volume will turn upwards or downwards. You can press the volume key, then press the icon on the top right, a menu will appear.

  Ive tried several times to change the profile to silent mode and for some reason, on that I always get a tone when I get a BBM even with quiet mode.  Ive turned off all the BBM and BBM group silent mode settings and nothing works.

  I had similar problem and found only one contact was a special ringtone that might work in silent mode.

  It took me a while to notice who did the BBM to remove only a single contact.

  I guess, you are running Xp and you has the same display as Ubuntu remix of Toshiba.
  Start fan tells you that your device is not in power saving mode.
  I used the scaling of the cpu frequency in Gnome for this cmdlet, and the least time of OpenOffice to launch confirms. IIRC the gray symbol indicates that the NB100 uses the cpu at 50% or less.
