  If you use a dial-up connection, then the line is indeed already used with the internet.  You can do this through the internet, and you may not use this same line while it is used for the internet.  You need an analog (non-digital) line separated with a fax modem or (one in your system) be bound separately or you need to switch back if it is a good analog line and you have everything you need to fax.   Please click on the first " Finder " icon on the dock (toolbar below) on your screen, in the left panel, you will see an option, click on 'Applications' on it.

  Under the present, you should be able to see Lightroom if it is properly installed.

• Not sure how to get the result that I need.

  Hi all

  I'm not a very good programmer, but I'm learning so please bear with me.

  My problem is that I need to be able to create a page that we can imput two dates and get all the items in our database which are equal or between imputted dates and be sent to the page.

  The part of sql is not my problem, but I'm not sure on how to create the page with in the date boxes.

  As it is now I have created the page, but it is retreving all elements of my table and comes it a grid of smiple and the output how many entries table for this is manageable.

  So, if someone can help me or point me in the right direction that would be great.

• I just upgraded to 10 Firefox and all my pinned tabs app disappeared. Not sure how to get them back. This did not go with any previous update.

  At using Firefox 9 before upgrade.
  Note that I was using Tab Utilities 1.1.2 which is now disabled because it is not compatible with Firefox 10 (but not really on utility tabbed app anyway).

  I just installed a preview of Tab Utilities version that works with firefox (Tab Utilities 1.2pre17) 10. After the reboot, all my original app tabs are back!

  You have discovered a problem with Windows 7. To resolve this problem, I recommend a program called FileMenu Tools. You can download the portable freeware from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/System-Enhancements/FileMenu-Tools-Portable.shtml .

  After having downloaded and installed the program, you will notice that, by default, each option is checked. I would be much more selective on this subject, otherwise your context menu will be a full page long! When the main window opens, you will see a list on the right side of all the elements that can be added to the context menu. Start weeding through the list and every one to take away, you don't need the United Nationsby checking the box.

  Once you have completed your selection (de-selections) make sure that you click the green check mark in the row of icons at the top of the left window of the interface to 'Apply' of your choice. The program can do much more, but that answers your specific question. I am told that the program has a good help file, so try here if you are interested.

  How can I reinstall lightroom? I have a redemption code that I used when first buying lightroom. I'm pretty bad with computers too.

  This redemption code that you had should have served to purchase a serial number.  The serial number is what you will need in order to get a new facility enabled.    If you do not turn off before you uninstalled then you contact Adobe technical support and ask them to reset your activations.

• Bought a server used, not sure how stop start.

  We bought some material and when we put it together it keeps starting to VMware ESXi 4.1.0 despite all that we are all some help. There is something in the BIOS, it seems that it is the trigger because we could not even boot from CD or USB. T here is without OS installed (disks disappeared already) and we do not have the username / password that it claims. In addition, we have attempted to download the tools stipulating the screen are available, but could not get the server through its IP (the IP address displayed on the screen).

  I did some searching on Google but have not found what be meaning made to solve this problem, perhaps in part because of my lack of knowledge on this product. We just need to get the server to a generic State to install an operating system, and to advance our efforts.

  Can anyone advise on the right way to solve this problem?

  If the drives were erased, it is most likely, a slot SD/USB internal that ESXi has been installed, and that is the first option in the boot sequence.

  There are a bunch of garbage that firefox imported from google and I can't get rid of it. How can I stop firefox support Web sites. I am very frustrated. I love firefox but if I can't solve this problem I will be forced to remove it.

  In the meantime, here is my procedure suggested to track down and cleaning of the bad modules. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

  (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

  (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
  • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
    firefox.exe "about:addons"

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Any improvement?

  (3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

• I'm still not sure how custom control and object-oriented programming interact, can someone enlighten me please?

  I spent some time trying to understand the relationship between the custom controls and object oriented programming. However, it is not quite clear to me yet.

  What I want to do:

  I want to have a custom control and hide its workings from the rest of the blockdiagram, so I don't have to wire for each similar object. Not only because I'm lazy , but also to keep the clean pattern and avoid mistakes.

  for example, a graph, a numerical factor and a button.

  When the button is pressed, the x scale must be changed according to the factor.

  So, this looks like a job for me to object-oriented programming. Once I created something that can do this, I can use it all through my program. The code that redraws the figure when you press the button as part of the object, so I can't connect extra wires and add a value change event when I add a new chart.

  Is this possible at all? I tried, but did not quite understand this time. I have to admit that I'm pretty new to OO programming and make custom controls. I use typedef clusters ' ed most my code so far, which works very well. But it's always a cluster of stupid, the only way to have nothing at all is in the block diagram in VI you use it in.

  The only thing I could come up with so far is to add an "event handler" Subvi who does and that he accepts a reference or a local variable to an object. Then, this sub - VI and the variable or reference can be put in parallel with the other stuff in the main loop of the program. But there must be a better way somewhere?

  I don't think I can solve this problem of definition of the objects of the Panel before custom and methods so that it can interact with the objects that it represents without help. I get the feeling that I must have missed it somewhere. The pointers will be appreciated.

  These two things are exactly what are the Xcontrols, a basic VI with a façade that has an event structure (the façade VI).
