  It's ridiculous to have to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade to Adobe 9 or 10, when Adobe 6 does it all in need.

  Yes, you can use Acrobat X Standard on Windows OS 8.1. I will suggest you to update to version X to the last update (10.1.16) before using it on the 8.1.

  Hi all, anyone having this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.

  Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY, HE just left and I had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

  Also, I came across this problem. When I tried to install it using the direct Installer (linked to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html), it has not as well, but the error log said:

  You should be aware that Acrobat 9 is not compatible with any current operating system (whatever happened to Windows 7), so problems are to be expected.

  You must disable the software on the old PC, then install the software on the new system and use the same license key that accompanies the software originally. Also check if Acrobat is compatible with Windows 10

  To disable Acrobat, Acrobat open > click Help > select Disable

  Please be informed that Acrobat DC is compatible on Windows 7 and later (system requirements for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Acrobat Standard DC ).

  So, you won't be able to install it on Windows Vista.
