NVIDIA GeForce 6150 THE

Windows 10 cannot be installed on Windows 7 because of the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 THE. What can I do?

What I read, your only option is to update your system (i.e. buy a computer with a CPU and motherboard compatible).

No other options do exist for this problem as far as my extensive research highlighted.

I am also in this boat with my own HP desktop computer. I began to shop for a comparable model that is scalable and compatible.

Sorry to break the bad news, but I hate the outstanding issues in these Forums.

I have a HP Paviliion a1730n desktop computer. It has a chipset Nvidia Geforce 6150 LT. My graphics Performance Index is 3. If possible, I want to improve the graphics card to improve Aero as they present the best pc game graphics. Can I update on this computer, and, if so, please provide information as to what level I can spend to... i. e Geforce 9800 GT, etc. The specifications of the computer indicate that I have 128 MB graphic memory. Total available graphics memory is 399 MB. This would improve the quality of the graphics? If so, how I would increase the graphics memory? I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

Thanks in advance for your help with my questions.

Major obstacles will be the quality of the supply of power and the available space inside the PC for the GPU.  These gumball HPs do not evacuate.  You may need to set with the side removed to cool electronics.  Also confirm that the PSU is rated to provide at least 16 to + 12VDC at 40 ° C ambient.  An upgrade of the POWER may be necessary to run a quality GPU.

This $35 + ship free 9600GSO is a good buy.  This is a significant improvement in the video stock.  When you take into account the cost of upgrading an HP stock, you will discover that it is much cheaper to go with a custom platform of quality from day one.  Many of these HPs are designed for web browsing and office tasks.

  • Driver problem: Nvidia GeForce 7500 THE

Have a HP Pavilion desktop computer (a few years), with a chipset NVIDIA GeForce 7500 THE version. I got Windows 7 Ultimate installed for a few months, without any display problem.

12/27 Windows Update presented me with an optional update for the (closed since Microsoft Corporation WDDM) driver. Installed, then restarted. No problem for about 10 minutes, then the screen empties and the speakers made a loud hum. Restarted the PC and the splash screen has a pattern of lines, then a screen with zeros where lines have been, then an error screen and the PC reboots again, and I then start safe mode.

Went to the Nvidia site and installed an update of maps in the series 7 listed as 09/27. The same problem. Now Windows Update is announced an update that is recommended for the driver. He tired, but it seems to be the same driver Nvidia Septemeber, if the problem persists.

Tried to restore to before the update. Does not solve it. Then I tried to restore to a previous restore point. Startup, worse still, as Safe Mode resulted in a blank screen with the mouse pointer on.

I need to change the driver to a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter for me to be able to start the PC.

Any ideas? The graphics card is now useless, or can I fix this?

The latest driver for THE 7500 - an OEM card based on the 7300GS - covers the 26.11 nVidia 195.62. This should work well.

Your symptoms, I think that your card has failed. The latest driver gave performances superior to those of any previous but insisted on a weakened component or the omission was just a coincidence.

  • HP Pavilion TV 8070a Media: Nvidia geforce 7500, is not compatible with windows 10

When you try to upgrade to Windows 10 and after preliminary analysis of my system by the Win 10 app, I get a Win 10 error message and can not run the Win 10 update.

"Nvidia geforce 7500 the, the manufacturer of the screen did not your screen compatible with windows 10.

I search the Web for solutions but can not find free driver updates.

I followed your suggestion with a slight variation, and I am now under Win 10.

Before you start, I did a complete picture of the system and backup using my existing Win 7 and created a repair of the system / boot drive.

    My steps were:

    1. download Win 10 from the Microsoft site on a USB key.

    2. I tried to start on the key and do not far in the Win 10 installation routine, when I received a message to restart Windows 7 normally and start the installation of Win 10 since the key.

    3. after a while win 10 started but the screen was skewed and none of the options/settings display gives a suitable display. So you don't have to try to correct the display settings.

4 followed the link for the driver NVIDIA 7500LE W7 32 bit and downloaded the win 7 - 309.08 and installed it.

    5. it resulted in a first-class screen display using the default size of 100% and its good even at 125% (editable via the Advanced display settings.

So everything is good and I thank you all for your help.

PS I did a complete system and docs backup Image and also created a repair of the Win 7 System / Boot disk before you start the above, just in case things went wrong.

    Hello

    Thank you

If the driver is already on the machine and you do an upgrade you won't have a problem.  However, if you do a fresh install, then that is a good question.   In general, I need to download the driver of nvidia geforce from nvidia site (or of the drive by the manufacturer if save you those) and reinstall the driver after the installation.   I don't know why it seems to be shifting for the nvidia driver, but this isn't a great thing.

To update level or fresh install.

Then go to the internet and search for the download of the driver...  For corresponds to the best use of the name of your board when you are looking for... for example my ASUS Board is an M4A785-M so I search google with information thus: "drivers m4a785-m."

The second from the top which brings me to this address: (note that this is an asus dot com, which indicates that it is not a phishing site)

    http://support.ASUS.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&m=M4A785-M&hashedid=ef0qgvMIwOUagAVl

I download and install the driver nvidia using the Manager of devices (from Control Panel)

Access graphics, software update driver cards and then navigate to the folder where you have already downloaded and expanded the drivers from nVidia.

The machine should reboot and come back with higher resolutions, you expect to do with the nVidia Driver.

Fear of that the foregoing is a bit premature... What follows seems really to solve if... Blackscreen questions gone... everything displays fine now...

Find my win 7 x 64 worked perfectly, I redouble efforts to find the driver installed-NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 - version 7.15.11.7967 - date 06/03/2009 and finally found in the Microsoft Update Catalog. http://catalog.update.Microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx

    Download the desktop

Use 7zip to extract, move the folder where you want (in my case E:\NVIDIA\nVidia - Display - NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150)

Type "Device Manager" in the Panel Office win8... go to graphics cards > right click and basic ms > update driver > choose from a list of drivers > have disk > select "nvqh.inf" in the folder that you created earlier.

Follow the installation dialog and restart the computer (you can also follow steps of coprocessor above display)

  • lost the external monitor feature: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M video card needs to update the driver in El Capitan?

    Hello
Apparently Apple no longer supports the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB and did not update the driver in the operating system to account for its recent update Linux (below)? What is a macbook pro user to do? I know my MBPro is now 5 years - but with an i5 and 8 GB of RAM I think I shouldn't need to take immediately for new?
Running any video seems to disrupt communication between my Vizio E240AR and MBPro - El Capitan OS (with NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB).  Power cycling the monitor and then force the MBP via a modification of the resolutions seems to temporarily improve the issue - until I have run video or insist on graphics card memory.

    Well, what to say.
A GPU upgrade is usually undesirable because no one can tell if the laptop would be stable after this replacement. So generally I would not recommend doing these upgrades.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-HPE-H8-1200-desktop-PC-series/5187019/model/5231572

I would like to replace the default Radeon HD 7450, which was built in desktop and replace it with a Nvidia GeForce GTS 450, my question is, is it compatible with my motherboard? Everything in the desktop computer is the same, except that I replaced the power supply with a Corsair CX600. As is all other compatible with the motherboard Angelica 2 graphics cards? Thank you!

    Shadgam, welcome to the forum.

New after the 640 GT video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of the standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.

I see no reason why the GTS 450 (see card) is not working on your computer.  Your motherboard has a PCI Express x 16 (Gen.2) slot.  You can always call the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure the card you have chosen will work.

Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

    Hello

I want to change my Toshiba M5-133 (Quadro NVS 110 M) Graficcard, can I install Nvidia Geforce 6600 go installed
    Instead?

    I thank in advance

    Hello

No, it is certainly not possible.

Laptop technology is different from the desktop computer and parts are not expandable.
The GPU (graphics chip) is set on the tray and the replacement or upgrade is not possible, unfortunately.
