NVIDIA M750 on Dell Inspiron 7537

I have dell inspiron 7537 with 16 GB of ram, intel I7 and samsung SSD 750Go with Wndows 10. It seems that lightroom develop mode run faster with the graphic intel GPU and very slow with the NVIDIA M750 with this laptop. I am running the latest NVIDIA driver. I can do something that will make lightroom to work faster with the best GPU (i.e. M750)? If not you will make the necessary changes that lightroom will be able to use GPU thig. I know that photoshop works much better with this GPU.

The performance difference may not come with the video card. First of all, try to disable the GPU support in Lightroom to see if that makes a difference. If things speed up, we know that it is a video card issue. If no change, we probably deal with something else to slow things down.

Overall, see this documentation for more information on the performance of Lightroom:

  • Screen problem Dell Inspiron 7537

I bought my Dell Inspiron 7537 last year only to use it for 7 months before the part of my screen went completely black. There are like 3 or 4 black lines which became bigger and bigger by the day. It was still in warranty, so I took my laptop to my dealer. Its been almost 5 months, my dealer told me that Dell refused to send a replacement screen first. When Dell decided to send a screen it was the wrong. Reference Dell claims now that they don't have the type of screen that needs my model and I have to wait, like 5 months is not enough. I tried to contact Dell without a bit of luck. I hope that get answers here or something. Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

Also, is anyone else having the same problem? My dealer told me that they had the same problem with the same model and once again, Dell would not send them a replacement screen.

  • Dell Inspiron 7537 wireless connectivity does not

    Hi all

I bought Dell inspiron 7537 and I am facing a problem of wireless connectivity since I've updated its build-in windows 8 to 8.1. Will not connect wifi or Bluetooth. I also tried to plug a device external wifi but it dint work. Even I've updated to windows 10 and eventually I reinstalled Windows 8 and Windows 7 but still the wifi adapter does not work.
I installed the drivers a lot but this question is never resolved.

I find a cross mark on my network icon to the right of the taskbar, and it says not connected to any network.

Please help me with this issue I am unable to use the wifi even in this brand new machine.

    Thank you.

Thank you very much for your reply, I installed Windows 7 on this computer. Now wifi is enabled :), but I'll try your suggested solution for Windows 8 and Windows 10

  • Keyboard Dell Inspiron 7537 after reboot (or start-up) does not work

    Hello!

I have a Dell Inspiron 7537. New installation of Windows 8.1. All drivers and updates for the installed BIOS Dell form site.

After I restart (or turn on) my laptop, sometimes keyboard does not work. Only the special buttons as light keyboard or airplane mode to work. All others - letters, numbers, etc. of the win-key will not work.

Question is completely random and not possible to recreate on purpose. Maybe a week without this problem, or can happen tomorrow.

    What I tried:

    1 reinstall Windows

2 removing and reinstalling Microsoft form of default keyboard driver in Device Manager.

    3 update BIOS

    4. run integrated Dell diagnostic utility (spent)

5 disable quick start setting and allow him to return.

I have a strong feeling that it's a software problem.

At the moment the problem is still there. Can someone give me some advice please?

After the upgrade to Win10 - didn't notice any problem. Thread can be closed.

  • What happened to the 2013 DELL Inspiron 7537 Design?

    Hello world
I'm a big user of DELL and I bought a laptop DELL 15-7537 model in 2013. I think it was the best Design that DELL made at this time on the market, with regard to the case of aluminium, of beauty and performance. A real competitor to the Apple brand is overrated.

I did not follow DELL for some time now, but I noticed today that the new model of DELL Inspiron 2016 is really * in terms of design. In my opinion a great stage of the line DELL 7537.

Does anyone know what the * happened? Why DELL has such a beautiful design as the 7537? They will change in the future? They plan all new designs for 2016/2017?

Your opinion/knowledge is appreciated in advance. Thanx.

    ST3VE88

Doubt that Dell will release this information.

I have the same processor Intel i5 Inspiron, 7537 purchased in 2013 and agree with you that it is one of the best designs of Dell.

The only thing I could find wrong, is that the laptop has a motherboard BGA, which does not allow the processor to upgrade, unless the motherboard is also replaced.

So far the phone has worked without problem, I upgraded to win 10 and for a 512 GB SSD hard drive

  • Said Dell Inspiron 7537 is tested on Windows 10 but the upgrade fails - black screen

    Hello all, Hello support,

Dell Backup software and restore proposed to me that I have upgraded to Windows 10. I like this idea.

I checked my ultrabook on the DELL Web site. Inspiron 7537 is tested (proudly said Dell) so I should be able to update my OS without flaw.

I did 2 upgrade to Windows 10 attempts, both failed in the same way.

It passes through several stages, but at some point, a black screen stuck and only power OFF button turns the laptop computer do something (disable). In the two attempts after 2 restarts, the installation process is back from my Windows 8.1 operating system

Why DELL say it is tested and I can't upgrade - turns-does not work.

I have not contacted the DELL forums on this subject (because the DELL technical support in my country told me it is Microsoft Business) If IT WAS NOT for THE FACT that DELL 'advertising' me Windows 10 and claims my laptop is ready to do the upgrade.

    Please help and explain.

    Thank you in advance.

Update your UEFI BIOS to revision A13 and then try again:

  • New Dell Inspiron 7537 and want to downgrade to Windows 7

How can I determine if my machine will work correctly with Windows 7? I suspect that the touch screen no longer works, but all the keys on the keyboard will map correctly and all other devices installed at the factory work?

    Thank you

Try to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to get an idea of what are the devices that you might have problems with:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=20

You will also need to buy your own license for Windows 7, since I do not know that the Inspiron would not come with Windows 8 Pro installed to allow the "free" downgrade rights.

  • My laptop Dell Inspiron 7537 doesn't wake mode 'sleep'

Well, I'm a little frustrated with my new laptop. I was eager and save for a laptop touchscreen super nice with all the bells and whistles. My big questions is, after letting the lid of my computer closed and he goes to sleep, the next day morning when I wake up and open my computer, the computer screen is empty.

I know that the computer is not "sleep" that my lights on keyboard is turned on. Why the touch screen remains white? I clicked on different keys, touch the touch screen. I even tried to push the power button. Nothing! The ONLY way I am able to do anything to appear on my screen is to make a difficult start by pressing and holding down the power button and start all over again.

So if anyone can help me, I would be grateful. I shouldn't be penalized for leaving my computer sleep... gee, Dell turn on, please help and I will be happy once more. I want my laptop to come alive! None.

    Thanks in advance.

As an info, my 'turn to the (recommended) quick start"is clicked, so it must be restarted quickly.

Close the display cover, and then re-open again

This is the only way to wake-up your computer

  • External monitors Dell Inspiron 15 (7537) with Nvidia GT750M.

I am literally pulling my hair!  I can't find specs tell me what types of resolutions and refresh of the monitor are supported.

The laptop has only a HDMI port (no DisplayPort - I did not notice it before placing my order mid-2014) and now I'm stuck with HDMI.

This weekend I tried hang my laptop to a 4 K TV - it made the TV - but only if the internal display was given - and, even in this case, the refresh rate was really bad... I'm only a casual viewer video - but I found the jerks of unacceptable frame rates.  This suggests strongly that the laptop is not HDMI 2.0. I know now that I must look at lower resolutions 3840 x 2160

I want to know... If I buy a WQHD monitor and connect it to HDMI, it displays in 2560 x 1440 while also driving the internal 1080 p monitor... or what I have to go down up to 1920 x 1200?

All this is * very * frustrating.  I hope someone can tell me what my laptop will support (to the native resolution and native refresh rate.)

I am pleased to announce that... Fortunately for me... the post above to 1920 x 1200 being the maximum external resolution is flat.

I read the response a few minutes after I had placed an order (after carefully checking the return policy) for a monitor Samsung WQHD (a S27D850T).  I have it plugged into my Dell Inspiron 15 7537 (with graphics GeForce GT750M and weird HDMI Intel connection as the only option for an external monitor) it ensures * BRILLIANTLY *-no configuration issues; 60 Hz refresh rate; 2560 x 1440 resolution.  It extends from my internal display.  Perfect performance, as far as I can tell!  No quality no questions at all.

I can also confirm that my Dell Inspiron 7537 * may * lead a 4 K TV over HDMI... I tested this weekend... It is not clear if it's the fault of the TV 4 K, the Dell or a combination of both... but only, I could get 30 Hz refresh and the rendering of images in movement at UHD resolution was not acceptable - it felt 10-15 fps.  I tried 3 different sets of 4K (because I could not find all the monitors 4K!) Two does not have an image to 4 K - the third, only when I turned off the clean laptop screen.  Perhaps I might have gotten a 4K screen work... but I am very happy with my purchase WQHD.

I can recommend the WQHD Samsung S27D850T for the Dell 15 7537 port HDMI Intel with chipset Nvidia GeForce GT750M.  I can not, however, recommend Dell on its documentation, or support.

  • NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 on a Dell Inspiron years 620

    Hello everyone,

I have a Dell Inspiron of the 620 years and my question is this: can I put a Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 in my PC?

    Thank you.

You had already posted the R9 280 X and I said that these cards full size do not fit in the 620 years.  The best card you can get for this system is the low profile Sapphire HD 7750 shown here if you can still find available.  If you are looking for a high-end gaming card, you will need to buy a new computer, because high-end gaming cards simply do not match your case.  If you want cards like the GTX 770 or R9 280 X, I suggest you build your own computer.

  • Dell Inspiron One 2320 Nvidia GeForce GT 525 m overheating?

Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron One 2320 I think has problems with the graphics card GeForce GT525m of overheating. 5 minutes of a game, even on the detail settings low, the temperature reached quickly 90 + degrees Celsius. The max I've seen is 96 degrees. This occurred on the first day with the computer and I rarely used it to this problem. I know there is no problems with fans and vents being dirty because I checked all and as I mentioned before the machine ran hot on the first day. Airflow behind the appliance is wide open, so I know that there is no obstruction to the air flow.

My wife has a laptop (Inspiron 17R) with an Nvidia GeForce GT525m I've tested the same edition of the games and benchmarks on the, with even more detail settings and it reaches a temperature of about 70 ° c max.

It seems strange to me that a GPU reaches a high temperature in such a short period of time. I have other machines (portable and desktop computers) ever approaching 90 degrees.

Here is some relevant information on the PC in question.

    Model: Inspiron One 2320

    CPU: Intel Core i5 2400 s

    GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT525m DDR3

    RAM: 6 GB

    BIOS version: A10

NVIDIA drivers: Tested several Versions Dell 8.17.12.7073 & Nvidia Version 306.97 not changes of temperature between the pilots, all are about 90 degrees Celsius.

If anyone has experiences similar to this or has a solution I would be very happy. Thank you!

Overheating was a problem with mine, I made a drastic decision. To fit 120mm fans for the back cover. Check the youtube videos on these mods.

The cooling is normally a problem on these with many users complaining of the black screens and restart one of the videos shows how to mount the fans/vents aft to increase cooling.

I therefore a 2320 Dell with i5 2500K (Non-Dell) quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD, DVD burner standard still in use via USB and mounted back cover driving fans cooling the GPU and CPU.

Games played at max settings use to heat the motherboard to 97 degrees with the fan in place, he fell to-22 degrees to 75 c, which means that the machine not only better performance but last much longer due to the additional cooling.

I'm using Core Temp to monitor the temperature and OCCT to the stress test.

  • Ubuntu linux driver installation for Nvidia 950 M on Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720

    Hello

I bought a Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720 Ubuntu version because I like Ubuntu linux more than Windows.

I can't find the linux drivers that will allow my Nvidia GT 950 M graphics so, basically, the card useless and no power management.
There is absolutely nothing for Ubuntu Linux on your drivers page.

I have updated to the latest BIOS A03.

The laptop's Ubuntu Logo sticker on it next to the Intel i7 so I thought it is totally compatible.

    Please advise,

    Thank you

    Andrei

Optimus system and at the present time, it is not properly supported under Linux, there is work in progress for him, but for a workaround, see Bumblebee project: wiki.ubuntu.com/Bumblebee

Description a little longer: you have two graphics - integrated (Intel) and discreet (Nvidia). Optimus systems are designed with the intention to use the GPU integrated tasks that requires no graphic heavy treatment (most of the day-to-day activities) and the use of the discrete GPU for applications requiring more powerful GPU. Integrated card is less eager for power and voltage GPU discreet when not in service allows cooler use.

Normally you use integrated card and there is no way to use the card nvidia directly if the BIOS does not switch to it. Help Optimus allows to use the Nvidia card for rendering and power down to save power when not in use. It has not been official for Optimus of Nvidia Linux support. Bumblebee is a community created project attempting to address the issue, but it is really only a workaround until the solution has been created. FIRST is such a solution, but at present it is still experimental and is not in any version of Ubuntu, more it is officially supported only in the open drivers source (new), Nvidia has not yet validated supporting in their binary driver.

I agree that Dell support for bids Linux pages are sorely lacking, in fact I was not able to locate a page describing their Linux pre-installs. Ubuntu certification pages are not really informative on Dell changes and upgrade policy.

I can not install graphics nvidia in my laptop .wen I install once installation is complete a system check is performed.

He said 'NVIDIA INSTALLER cannot NOT CONTINUE' and this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware.

  • What video card do I need on a Dell Inspiron 1545 playing Fallout 3?

I have a problem when I try to play Fallout 3 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. I tested my computer with the System Requirements Lab and he told me that I need an upgrade. I have a Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.  He said that the Minimum that I need for my computer is Direct X 9.0 c compatible video card with 256 MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X 850 or better).  I looked this up, but I can only find ones for desktop computers. Do you know what I should get the video card and what one is for my computer?

    Shawn

Generally, you may not get a new video card for your laptop, but if you can contact so that they can install it for you, unless you know how to install mobile video cards yourself.

I looked towards the top of your machine and it looks like you have the possibility to have a 256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 for your machine. That would probably be it. I don't know what type of processor you have, but this card should work for you. Integrated Intel cards are not good for games at all.

    Good luck.
