  I'm usign CRMI to get information from the document.

  Hello

  I need an AppleScript script to copy to the Clipboard a thumbnail of a selected file (s. picture 1 below) with a hyperlink to the URL of the selected file.

  I have a script that allows me to get the URL of the file and copy it to the Clipboard. But then I have to paste the URL into my Document, back to the finder, make a screenshot of the thumbnail of the file, paste this screenshot and enter the URL (manually copy) of the file (choose the context menu of the image) (s. image 2 below):

  

  Is there a way to automate this?

  I could do the screenshot manually, this is actually no problem, but then I would need to attribute this screenshot on a Clipboard 1, go back and get the URL of the file and attribute it to Clipboard 2 and then go to my document and paste Clipboard 1 first, chose the menu popup "hyperlink" and the Clipboard paste 2.

  I would be grateful for the help!

  OpenOffice or LibreOffice aren't outwardly scriptable with AppleScript or Automator, as to exclude these two applications that support. They are inwardly Python scriptable via their respective SDK.

  I became aware of a solution of AppleScript that invites for the input file, then uses a custom (port) application that uses QuickLook to generate an image thumbnail jpg to your specified output destination. I added a line of AppleScript that sends the URL of the file to the Clipboard.

  After running the script, I can paste the URL of the document in LibreOffice and follow by drag and drop the jpg thumbnail afterwards.

  

  Do you want me to post the directions for this solution. In its current form, it is not written for processing batch.

  Well the topic says it all! Using the view of the items in the portal, how to build a url?
  If the items are stored as links, the url is in the url field. If items are documents contained in the repository, the url field is empty. At least, I think it's okay from what I can tell. If need to discern their url.
  Any help is appreciated!

  Here's a function I use to do this. Wwsbr_all_items just pass the function the columns ID and KINGPIN. It returns the url of the document. If you create the function and then try and run from SQLPlus or something, don't forget to set your SSO context or it won't work.

• Got "the page you are trying to access is not valid." When trying to access the document

  We have an EchoSign document already sent to the clouds to Adobe via API v20, after successful sending that get the URL to access the document. And in our application that is a cluster with two application servers, say a server and Server B and send the document to Adobe via the server. Now, when you try to open the URL of the document from Server A, it is well; but when you try to open the URL of the server B, it reports that "the page you are trying to access is not valid.". Any idea on this? For Server A and Server B, the URL is the same, is not why this happens.

• How we prevent URLs of printing at the top of the document

  When I print pdf documents from a Web site using Adobe Reader X, it displays the url of the site and the name of the PDF on the top of the document.  Is there a way that turns off?  I use Adobe Reader X (10.1.6) on a Windows 7 laptop.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  Check preferences system/users and groups to see if this item is in your login items. If so, select it and use the sign less to remove.

  If she is not there, see if you can find the file by using one of these programs. If you go Finder/display/show bar path, it will show you where it is located. You can then remove it.

  The Mac is in itself a system multi-user, whether you choose to create a user or a large number.

  All users you already created can be seen in

  System Preferences > users & groups

  The files for each user are kept separated, protected of the subdirectories of the Directory/Users:

  I see that you experience a problem when you attempt to use a Keynote presentation with iBooks author. I have an article for you related to this topic, and it can be found here:

  You can also drag a Keynote (.key) file directly to the book page without adding a widget to Keynote first.

  Important: Images in a Keynote file should not be higher than 25 megapixels (5000 x 5000 pixels) or 50 MB.

  You can't interact with a Keynote slideshow in iBooks author, but readers can interact with it in the finished book.

• Uninstalled all of the Documents folder - desperately need help

  Let me give you some information on this problem.

  I started trying to install a PC game on my computer, and it was recommended that I have a place outside of C:/Program Files, because Vista has been having administrative access errors and prevent the game to patch automatically. So, I chose to install it in the Documents, because I have a few other games installed in the Documents for various reasons. Well, by typing the path of the file, I typed the following text:

  Games\Documents of C:\Users\the contact

  I forgot to also add the folder with the name of the game to the end to give all the files that would be settled in their own folder. Therefore, I checked my Documents folder when I started to try to patch the game, and the game files were sitting just individually in the Documents and not their own folder. Rather than collect all the files and make a folder for them manually, I thought, forget it, I'll just uninstall and reinstall once more then this is a quick installation, this time by adding a folder for the files in the Documents folder. (that is, C:\Users\the boyfriend games\Documents\Europa Universalis III).

  So I started to uninstall it, everything worked, not reinstalled, no problem, although I noticed when I tried to install it in the Documents there was no other... strange subfolders. It installed very well and as I started patching the game even once, I went to the Documents, and Documents My horrifying discovery, was empty except for the folder of the game I did.

  I realized it happened instantly. When I choose "Uninstall" the game again, he chose to uninstall all the contents of the folder they have been stored in... sense to uninstall all files in 'Documents,' some other games, irreplaceable images and documents from the school.

  If you have stuck with me this far, I thank you. My question can be summed up by asking, what can I do to get all the files in the Documents that uninstalled? My basket is empty, but I didn't since this discovery other type of this message. I have not the computer shuts down automatically, installed another thing I understand is crucial in data recovery. Reliable, free software is one that can recover the data for me? I'll have to dig through the Interior edges of my computer files? Please answer as soon as possible and to help me, I lost a lot of irreplaceable data and not just "delete" and "empty trash".

  You've done well not to do anything else on the computer since the discovery of the problem.  Which will maximize the chances of recovering your files.

  Download and run a program like Recuva file recovery.

  I have a HP G4050 which worked fine with Vista.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, I get the following error when scanning:

  I get a different error during an attempt of an overview.  It starts to get an overview of the page, gets about 2 inches to the bottom of the page and then I get the following error:

  An error occurred when you set the properties of the scanner.  If another program is scanning, please wait to complete, and then try again.

  I downloaded the latest driver (and reinstalled several times) of HP with no luck.  No errors are recorded in the Application events.

  I'm going nuts trying to figure out this one!  Thanks for your help.

  OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

  If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

  A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... and download Adobe Reader 11.0 installation base.

  Then download each individual updates and run them sequentially.

  I installed back to the last update of security which is version 08 and were able to register under normal operations.

  You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.
