• Is there a way to open the exported pages automatically in the preview PDF files?

  New to Mac and I was wondering if this feature is available. I regularly export Pages as PDF documents before sending them to the customers.

  In Windows / Word, PDF files created automatically opens so you can view them.

  I know it takes 5 seconds to manually open them in the preview, but if I missed an option that could automate this step?

• Muse to export pages in php but links are always html

  After the update to MuseCC 2015.2 when exporting pages being created to my FTP server have the extension .php (which I think is wrong) and all links in pages are still trying to point to pages .html resulting in a 404 error. I can't seem to change the output of Muse, are the bad links or pages?

  Liquid PHP is the script used for forms. Muse creates pages with forms, so that they are able to run properly, the versions of php. Certainly, it should not affect the structure of the site.

  You have a link to the live site with the problem?

  A solution would be to export the site in HTML format, then transfer it independently using a FTP client.

• JavaScript in obiee 3 questions (Export, page width, same page refresh)

  Hi all

  We have 3 numbers in javascript used in narrative mode to generate a hierarchy report.

  (1) for export to PDF, it's showing the JavaScript instead of report data.

  (2) when the hierarchy is that the bar of Internet Explore horizontal scrolling, it is truncating the remaining data. Is there a way to increase the width of dashboard page depends on the data?

  (3) and finally we need to update the javascript display the result in a new window... Is there a way to update it by clicking apply in time?

  Question 1 and 2

  (1) for export to PDF, it's showing the JavaScript instead of report data.

  Fixed part. We can use the export as an .mht file to view the report with javascript.

  (2) when the hierarchy is that the bar of Internet Explore horizontal scrolling, it is truncating the remaining data. Is there a way to increase the width of dashboard page depends on the data?

  Increase in the number of lines in the story at the default of 1 500... Now, it is not truncate the results and display completely...

  A third one is still pending and will inform you if I could find any workaround.

  Change the dashboard of each and check the print properties.

  1 edit the dashboard

  2. in tools, select"Print Options" that is to say up to the "Dashboard Properties" option

  3. select print lines 'All' instead of 'Visible '.

  4 Save and export the dashboard.

  Now, you will be able to export all the data in the dashboard report.

  I have problem in export of my reports. I need my report to export to PDF or EXCEL format. My report contains more than 1,200 lines. But when I export the report in PDF format, it contains only 500 lines, for the rest of the lines, I have to scroll down and again I need to export to obtain the content of 501 to 1000.
  
  Is it possible to change any property, can I export entire lines of 1200 + EXCEL or PDF? Pls someone shed light on this question.

  The real problem was that my indesign has not been updated, it has exported perfectly after the update. Hope this helps anyone who has the same issue.

• Question on OBIEE guest dashboard

  I have a country column with all the codes of countries such as the USA, IND, RK, TNG and NULL etc.
  
  I have to create a command prompt of with 2 values USA and NON-USA countries. I wrote as a case statement
  cases where country = 'usa', then 'usa' else 'no usa' end.
  Only the code of country USA show the results of the USA and values USA Red falls into the category of NO USA.
  
  I created the guest successfully but the problem is, I'm not able to filter the result based on the prompt values and I have to show the USA NO same values as in the body of the report.
  
  How to connect fast values with the columns of the report...

  Hi Prasanna,

  first create your dashboard quickly by using the following sql:

  CASE WHEN 'table '. "" Country "= 'USA' and THEN 'USA' ELSE 'Non' END

  then create your report and add 1 more column, click edit formula & write same clause:
  BOX WHEN "Grant Contacts". "" Country "= END"US"THEN"USA"ELSE 'non '.

  hide this column (using the property Column-> hide)

  in the report as filter * "' is bringing" * that hide the column.

• OBIEE 12 c Analytics page is not opening after 11G migration

  I installed OBIEE12C in the Linux system, that doesn't have any other application. All services were running after installation, able to connect to the analytical page.

  Then I have a migrated application to oracle OBIEE11G 1.1.1.7 to OBIEE12C 12.2.1.0. We are after two stages of migration in accordance with the guidelines and using the MigrationTool.sh file to create the .jar file and then import to 12 c environment.

  All the step of migration succeeded. After the Migration, it is watch successful message, but when we try to connect from analytical URL, is getting hanged with message "signing in" after newspaper correct userid and password. I can open the RPD migrated 12 c even system administrator after you download it and I can see the data of the RPD (see data). But when logign by analytical page, his request for user and password then get suspended.

  I tried with simple migration of RPD also who has only a simple RPD and a dashboard, always after the migration cannot connect in analytics. It was working properly before the migration. That services are up and running I can verify with the same userid of the EM.

  Something is migrated, but I guess it's just a piece of it (I planned to test this part in detail in the coming weeks).

  But as there are tons of models of security different users can configure they can't really make a migration of "miracle".

  I guess that it migrating application roles (default 12 roles have a different name if I'm not mistaken) and you saw that application roles were there. But it cannot migrate any user or group that is part of Weblogic and not really a component of OBIEE. So because of the different names in default 12 c the migration wizard cannot find the group that's wanted to attribute it to an approle and you close up with approles empty.

  If you had an external authentication provider and you did before in 12 c installation migration I figured everything was fine...

  The important thing is that you can now login and validate the process of migration on your system.

  Can you maybe close the thread because at the moment it is still this question is no answer. ?

• OBIEE/analytical preference from Page does not

  When I put a dashboard on starting page preferences do not work. When I login again my start page always is the 'home page' not the dashboard I previously set up as my home page. What could be the problem that the configuration does not work?

• Integrate Wordpress Muse Export Page

  I'm trying to understand how "embed" a HTML of Muse in a Wordpress page.  Muse is to create a very beautiful before and after the image slider that I included on Wordpress.  Muse generates an html, js, css, and other documents.  I don't know if the code can be made up, but I'd love to include this lovely one / slider b on my Wordpress page.

  The export of Muse (test page) page is: ImageSlider.

  The iframe seems just quite awkward and difficult to manage.  The question is whether the export of Muse can be made sensitive.

  Is there any help?  I am not good at coding and hope that there is a fairly simple solution.

  As I said, all scripts must be in the structure of WP to be accessible from your blog. That can only be done if you have a native root via FTP or backend access to the web server or Admin Panel complete of WP for plug-ins and themes. To work around the problem, you may be able to set a custom on the server folder and empty your scripts here, but you will always be limited to the use of iFrames to embed your stuff. WP is rather strict / rigid in this respect to avoid conflicts with its own use of custom jQuery and CSS - if something is not loaded in the right folder, it will be simply be shot by internal wp_optimize a wp_sanitize of functions. or even not at all you might consider finding a theme or a plugin that has the cursor image integrated, then with a little copy & paste integrate your design, but it is still quite a task and obviously would be in Dreamweaver or other source code editors, no Muse.

• inDesign CC overlaping each other when exporting pages

  I created a document with 8 pages, 1 front, 1 rear and 6 inside facing pages.  When I'm working on the document, everything works fine.  However when I export, 6 pages inside, 3 of the pages keep overlaping with their counterparts.  The measures are all very well, and each page is legitimate in its place.  The question is in the background.  As you can see in the image below, it seems that the two pages are overlapping each other.  I had an image to cover two pages on photoshop and two pages always overlap only when it is exported.

• Names of OBIEE and dashboard

  Hi everyone, I am struck a questions I've seen before, but can't dig up the fix.
  
  We use the BI Apps, and there is a boatload of dashboards. When users have access to all of them, they are grouped into 'Catégories' on the page - i.e. instead of display dashboards 'Project analytics' 5, it shows just "project analytics", then when you click on that it allows you to choose among 5 of those under him.
  
  But we began to remove access to all dashboards, users don't have - and now it's show for example 5 detailed dashboards. We actually prefer to keep grouped under a high level "project analytics.
  
  I know there is a setting to control this... but it's been too long that I used it. Anyone know the setting I'm looking for?

  Nothing in your screenshot must be set for a recovery, especially white. There is nothing here that requires any sort of special treatment on your part.
