• In OBIEE graphics, how do you drill downs work on custom forms?

  I posted this Linked In and not got an anser, so I hope someone here has an answer.
  
  I wrote a summary query / table for a dashboard to OBIEE 10.1 with a lock down (technically, it's a 'navigation') for more information. This table breaks down the data by quarter and by geography (both are columns of discipline) and I can down this drill to work just fine. But I also this table broken down by some calculated custom fields (CASE statements WHEN) that classify the revenue / risk / Upside etc. (which are not the columns or the column values in the area in question).
  
  When I add a drill down or sail depending on calculated columns, I get a full set of data... not a set of data filtered for this job here calculated. (Yes, I have all the EAST GUEST filters configured properly, and Yes formulas in queries source and destination are the same).
  
  Anyone have any ideas on how to make the zoom or the navigation works on custom formulas?

  It was all done using normal responses.

  It is very important that the formulas are the same
  (They must match letter for letter case when X = Y then 1 2 other end is different from the case when X = Y then 1 2 other end ).

  Also if using the prompt in the dashboard do not forget to do the titles exactly the same thing. What I do, it of create a formula and copy it and then paste everywhere else. Keep the same column headers as well.

  When drilling down in OBIEE 11 g, a new page opens. The new page is not carrying the guests it shows not what are the active filters. How see us guests on the page break down?

• DRILL DOWN REPORT for DIFFERENT SETS of DATA in 11G

  Hello.
  My requirment is to zoom with 2 sets of data report.
  My first set of data all have the chart of accounts, the second set of data transactions.
  in my report, I have 2 tables of data. With the accounts, and when I click on an account and get all transactions for the account in the second table of data.
  Anyone know how I can do this

  In one of my report (REPORT A) I am drilling down to help navigate to another report (REPORT B), and I have a 'back' at the bottom of the report.
  
  I am facing the problem depending on when I do this:
  
  Step 1: I am opening A REPORT and digging using the hyperlink to one of my column in REPORT B.
  
  Step 2: open another report, REPORT C, which has NO connection with the REPORT A or b of the REPORT.
  
  Step 3: When I click on the link 'back' at the bottom of the B REPORT, he takes me to REPORT C instead of A REPORT.
  
  How can this be repaired? Help, please. Thank you.

  If so, try using the back button.

• Drilling down into charts - can someone explain the behavior it please

  Hi guys,.
  
  I'm trying to understand how a particular chart is percables "Sample Sales".
  
  The report in question is "Tiering" 8020 03 and Distribution. I circled the report that I clicked on:

  2. why the value "Default" allow for drill-down in the chart? I tried to create my own graphics - and by default it does not trigger an exploration at all, even if there is some data at a lower level.
  
  3. can I break into place and have some content may remain relatively static - and other fields change? I saw a similar question before - where it was suggested to use the greater than 1 report in the dashboard view. (instead of combining any compound notice).

  # 2. I think that you did create hierarchies in your SPR for the dimensions and measures that you have on the report.
  For n ° 3. I think the first 3 reports in the dashboard are aligned horizantally within a section of the dashboard and "Drill in Place" has been activated on the section / meet these demands. Check the properties of the section. If you want this problem, try each report incorporated in different sections and activate the drill in place for each section where you want to drill additional but content rest remains the same.

  BTW how you paste your dashboard here? It's cool image display mode... receive your answer.

  It sounds weird... I didn't have this kind of problem... And I have records (account or contacts) with much more than 20 related items (many activities, requests for service,...).

• Drilled down in a new tab instead of in the same tab

  I have a tab\page with the report, which displays a column with data hierarchy (countries).
  Pivot table header looks like: day, measure1, date2.
  where each measure column is divided into multiple columns based on the number of countries: countries 1, country 2 and country 3.
  
  When you click the sepecific country, the display is updated. The table is the same, but instead of country, I now see cities in the selected country: columns Ville1, city2, etc. '.
  
  The problem is that the refreshed view is open in a new tab and the other tabs have disappeared.
  Downstairs there are "back" link, but I don't want this behavior.
  
  How can I configure the forest down to be in the same tab and keep showing all other tabs as well?

  If it's not navigation then it must be dimesional hierarchy in the administration tool. If you are clicking on a column and same report opens in another page with an additional column it means it is dimensional hierarchy in place.

  In that sefyu access section properties and check "drill in Place.

  It will open the report on the same page.

• How to break through to the display of specific results using the navigation drill for?

  I have two reports Rep1 and Rep2. I've set up navigation Rep1, Rep2 to drill by defining the column property to 'NAVIGATE' on Rep1 and have a 'GUEST IS' on Rep2.
  
  It was working fine when I tested it on OBIEE installing on my laptop. However, when I tried this on instance UAT one client I have the below question.
  
  Description of the problem: both Rep1 and Rep2 have multiple views. However, I need to drill the pivot view in rep1 to rotate the view in Rep2. I display the view of pivot since Rep1 on the dashboard page. However, whenever I try to break through to Rep2 he always exercises in table see REP2 but I want to drill to rotate the view in REP2.
  I tried to remove the table display in REP2 and then tried to navigate drill REP2. But now it does not display any view of Rep2.
  
  Is it possible to force display of pivot in REP2 drill to see to this navigation?

  BTW, if you go to your mode of Compound, what do you see for report 2? The PivotTable view is visible under the title of the view or is there anything under the title? There is a chance that you have a PivotTable that is configured, but you have not added to the compound mode and that you went straight to the Table to remove it. If so, you'd get your results. Please confirm that this is true or not.

  I am new to Dreamweaver CS6 and as I go along in the design of a learning site. Here is the link to see the navigation menu, with the list in the menu which runs through in columns and rows and a black line that appears when the mouse passes over a menu drop-down. I tried to create the same look but couldn't and am stuck. Spry has been used and how to create the list in columns and rows in the menu drop-down? Or was this done using a jQuery template (what jQuery sites)? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  This isn't a Spry menu.  It's a mega Menu reagent system that seems to be part of a framework of Bootstrap.

  In all cases, you can not do with Spry.  Also Spry is now obsolete as Adobe he abandoned last year.

• Navigation - drop down menus

  I have a vertical navigation bar on the right side of my home page. The submenus are right instead of below the main menu item. On smaller screens, this puts the buttons off the screen. Is there not a way to move the drop menu drop down so it goes down below the main menu item?

  Sub menus of a vertical navigation menu will only display on the right side, unfortunately you can not change this setting.

• How to format a column number displayed when drilled down in the dimension

  I have a question:
  
  For example, I defined a drill on track: year/month/day. I then create a report with the first column in the year. When a user clicks on the column of the year, he bore down to display the year, month, etc. So far so good.

  You can set a default value to the system-wide formatting for this column. Add the column to a request format her if necessary, and then in the tab press 'Format of column', 'Save'-> "default" systems for 'Time'. Month' "(or whatever your column is called).
