Oblong box calendar. How do I disable this feature?

You have to disable the function of oblong box that keeps appearing on the right side of my screen as I type these words: 'what's new in Calendar' in this box. He added the words, "You can configure features of calendar in settings...". Have not the slightest idea what it means?

Can someone tell me how to get this oblong box off the screen, once and for all? It is a distraction and confuses me completely when it keeps popping up on my screen. Help, anyone...?

It seems that you are talking about the slideover function. To turn it off, go to settings > general > multitasking > Tower allow multiple applications off.
